Help with my DISH issue
The issue in GetHuman-jdhans's own words
Tried to set Cowboy Begal NFL game to record Aug ** on Fox Network, but got an error that said could not be set to record at that time, try again later. After trying three times I looked at the Guide and saw that Prime Time had set to record. (Ok, but very poor way to way to leaving customer hanging with an error message). **Saturday night I came home @ *:** pm to watch the game. Started play from DVR. Watched one quarter and got the screen locked with message that I needed to unplug Hopper * box for ** seconds then wait *-** minutes to restart. Then a message game on screen that due to error, I may have to finish watching my program on Channel ***. I went to Channel *** only to be told he program was either blacked out in my area or I wasn’t activated for that channel. I then went to DVR and found two programs recorded of Cowboy*Bengal football game. One was the first one started and ended with error and the second one was last of third quarter and all of fourth quarter. I have two segments recorded in Prime que, and * segments recorded in DVR que. You can look at them if you can. So I got to see the first quarter and fourth quarter. You guys have a severe SOFTWARE BUG! Don’t you test this junk before you subject your customers to it, and **** them all off? **Explain to me why I shouldn’t change to DIRECTV before the season starts. Don’t think you can blame this on NFL black out either. ... I was watching & recording Chan ***, Cowboy*Fortyniner NFL game on ********. I watched the first quarter, then hopper locked up with ***a error. Prog. Blacked out. Waited on hold ** min. for your useless customer service rep to tell me, dish is not responsible. Then who the **** is? I’ll be switching to a cable that plays what their guide advertises.
That should be obvious, and your programmers are incompetent.
Fix it or tell me you can’t and I’ll go somewhere else.
* *** years. For $****month I expect allot more than this.
