Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Recent Purchase Order Hi, I am Andrew Middleton. I need to make a complaint about a recent purchase I made on October 19th at Branch [redacted]. I bought product [redacted], HP OfficeJet Pro 7. Although I don't have an order reference number, I have a Creation Plan ID. The salesperson, Oscar, took my order promising delivery in-store within 5 days by either October 23rd or at the latest on October 26th. By October 29th, not hearing anything, I visited the store to check the status. The greeter promised to check but couldn't find it then mentioned it might be in soon. Today, I called customer service after more delays and being transferred multiple times, finally, a helpful lady provided the store's number. The store mentioned my order had been sent elsewhere for sale and won't be back in until November 12th. I am shocked no one informed me of this delay or the potential reselling of my printer. The lack of communication is upsetting. I demand to know what action will be taken regarding this matter. I went to your Rochdale store at 10 a.m. today looking to buy a tablet or laptop. I had the money ready but was shocked by the treatment I received. The salesman showed me items I couldn't purchase due to lack of stock after a lengthy process including him checking his phone and the in-store computer. I spent 2 hours there. His behavior frustrated me, as he also pushed a security product I wasn't interested in. I ended up buying from Amazon as advised by the salesperson. Disappointing experience with the salesperson at the store, and I don't plan to come back anytime soon.

I purchased a Hotpoint [redacted] spin 9 kg load washing machine in June [redacted]. I want to share my experience with this machine, hoping to help others make informed decisions. Unfortunately, I have encountered issues with its 'load balance' function, leading to frequent spin cycle interruptions as per the troubleshooting guide. Hotpoint and Currys have been unhelpful, with Currys directing me to Hotpoint and Hotpoint suggesting I bear the cost of an engineer to confirm the machine is functioning as intended. I have decided to replace the machine, albeit at a slight discount, as arguing over a faulty product is not how I want to spend my time. It's disappointing that Currys has not acknowledged their responsibility in this matter, but I prefer to move on from this ordeal.

Subject: Issue with Samsung QLED TV Delivery Dear Customer Service, I recently received a Samsung QLED TV with delivery number [redacted], and unfortunately, the box was delivered soaking wet and completely destroyed. The driver was helpful and took a photo of the damaged box. There was moisture at the extreme end of the TV, and a fixing clip that holds the wire onto the TV stand leg was missing from the enclosed fittings. Despite the item working, I find this level of damage and missing parts unacceptable for a brand new purchase at the price of £[redacted]. I kindly request for your assistance to address this matter. I contacted Consumer Rights and will also reach out to the Rotherham Advertiser regarding my Kenwood chest freezer issue. After it was repaired in September, the freezer failed again, causing all the food to spoil. This is the second occurrence within 5 weeks, and with three disabled children, including one in a wheelchair, constantly replacing spoiled food is financially burdensome. Despite paying for insurance, I prefer a replacement instead of another repair. Waiting until Monday for assistance is difficult as we are on a tight budget and cannot afford to keep buying food every few weeks. The repeated incidents are impacting my mental health, especially considering the financial loss and the upcoming holiday season. I am eagerly awaiting a resolution from Consumer Rights and the ombudsman.

Subject: Discontent with Faulty Hotpoint Washing Machine NSWR742U WK UK N 
 Dear Sir/Madam, I purchased and retrieved the Hotpoint Washing Machine NSWR742U WK UK N from Curry's in Bridgwater in September [redacted].
 On 20/10/20, I contacted D&G regarding a fault where the rubber seal around the drum was warped and wires were protruding, causing my kitchen floor to flood. Despite my expectations of a new replacement, I was informed otherwise by D&G and the Curry's store in Bridgwater.
 Following a visit from a Whirlpool engineer who attempted to repair the machine, I found the rubber seal still warped and wires still exposed, rendering the machine unusable. I have made numerous calls to D&G, Whirlpool, and Curry's, spending hours trying to resolve the issue to no avail.
 I am writing to express my utter dissatisfaction and frustration with the lack of customer service and quality of the product. I am requesting a full refund for the machine and compensation for the damaged top, as I believe this is my consumer right.

Hello, I bought a TP-Link RE305 WiFi extender at the Sheffield Heeley store on Tuesday, October 27th. They said it wasn't in stock but would be available the next day. I provided my email and phone number for notification. I paid £29.99 with my Mastercard but didn't receive a receipt, only an assurance of an email with the order number. When I didn't hear back, I visited the store on Thursday, October 29th, was told it would arrive later that day, but again received no email. As the store is now closed, I ordered the product online on Sunday, November 2nd, received it on November 5th, and it is working well. I'd like the original order cancelled and a refund issued. I arranged for a fridge freezer delivery for my aunt on October 31st to accommodate her anxiety. The delivery arrived earlier than expected at 11:35, causing confusion for my aunt and distress for me. Following installation, the fridge light malfunctioned after a few days. Trying to seek help for a repair, I encountered unhelpful and rude customer service, leading to significant food spoilage worth approximately £45. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach a customer service representative, I discovered the issue was due to the plug being improperly connected, not a faulty product. This experience was frustrating, the inconvenience caused to my elderly aunt is disappointing, and I feel let down by the service. I hope sharing this incident prevents similar occurrences for others.

I haven't received my order and have been unable to reach out to you. Every time I try, I am advised to contact the 3rd party courier, Royal Mail. When I reach out to them, they explain that the delivery agreement is with you, not me, so they are unable to assist. The order number is CUR[redacted], and the courier's website is www.royalmail.com. The tracking code, PN[redacted]42GB, indicates it has been in York since October 31st, leading me to believe it may be lost. I would appreciate it if you could either resend the order or provide a refund. Thank you. Rachel

Hello, I have a DPD driver coming to pick up a parcel for return that was arranged over the phone with Curry's customer services. I don't have the address label to put on for the return. Will DPD put it on for me or do I need one? They are supposed to pick it up today. I tried calling customer service this morning, but after being on hold for 20 minutes, they cut me off. Our new Beko dishwasher, installed by Currys on October 23, had missing filters that were delayed in delivery to the wrong address. After receiving the filters on November 7, we used it and discovered a significant leak. We've been trying to contact the repair number all morning without success. Please ring us at [redacted]6. My 86-year-old father has been attempting to reach out to Currys for repairs on a phone. He purchased a television less than a year ago, and the picture suddenly disappeared. He was on the phone providing details when he was transferred to another number where the staff had no knowledge of his issue. This happened after he waited on hold on the phone for an hour. I arranged for my TV to be serviced on 9/10/20, but upon receiving a survey on 23/10/20, I was informed it was unrepairable and a voucher was emailed, which I never received. Despite multiple attempts to contact them daily, even waiting on hold for hours, I haven't been able to reach them. This level of service is incredibly poor. I urge them to reach out to me promptly. Dear Customer Service, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience with Currys. I have made multiple attempts to contact you through telephone and email without success. On 1 November [redacted], I placed an order for a mini dishwasher online (order no: CUR[redacted]) and inquired about installation requirements with your customer service team. Unfortunately, the advice I received did not align with the actual installation process. On the installation day, the delivery team informed me that the dishwasher would need to be installed in a manner that was not what I had expected or seen in other reviews. They suggested drilling a hole through my kitchen worktop but did not have the necessary tools. After seeking quotes for the additional work required, I was surprised by the extra cost, especially considering my financial situation. I believe the advice given before the installation was misleading, and the installation team should have been prepared with the correct tools. I still wish to proceed with the installation but do not believe it is fair for me to incur extra expenses due to the team's oversight. I kindly request that the installation team on 15 November come prepared with the required tools or that the cost of the additional work be deducted from my original purchase. I recently purchased a washer dryer from Curry's, and upon delivery and installation on November 1st, I experienced issues with the machine shaking and moving during use. After contacting customer care and having an engineer visit to address the problem, the issue persisted. Following discussions with Curry's and PayPal, it has been agreed upon that a refund will be issued, but Curry's requires the machine to be sent back to their head office, which poses a challenge as I am unable to uninstall it. I am seeking Curry's assistance in uninstalling the machine and arranging for its return. While I am exploring alternative options such as involving the County court for a refund, I prefer to proceed with the resolution through PayPal initially. A courier service could potentially transport the machine, but I require Curry's assistance with the uninstallation process. I am awaiting further guidance from Curry's in this matter.

Subject: Complaint About Damaged Oven - ORDER REF CUR[redacted] I am reaching out to express my dissatisfaction with the service provided by your company. My brother, Greg Hooton, placed an online order for an oven for my mother's rented property. I collected the oven through click and collect at Wigan on 5/11/20. Upon unpacking, I noticed a dent on the control panel. I immediately contacted customer service but after an extended four-hour phone call, no resolution was reached. The customer service representative assigned me a PER341 429C4 reference number and mentioned they cannot exchange the oven on-site. As the property is occupied by a lady and four children, it is inconvenient to remove the oven. I urge you to address this issue promptly and replace the faulty goods. I bought a TV from your store on 16/10/20. By 05/11/20, it had several faults. When I returned to the store, I opted for a replacement instead of a repair. On 10/11/20, a DPD driver came to collect the faulty TV, but there was no replacement, so I didn't give it to him. After visiting the Currys store again, I learned that a replacement would be sent a week after DPD collected the faulty TV. Not wanting to wait, I asked for a refund. The assistant gave me returns number [redacted]0 and mentioned it could take up to 2 weeks due to it being an online order. Since then, I have bought another TV. I bought a TV from Curry's on 16/10/20 and it developed faults on 05/11/20. When I returned to the store on 06/11/20, I requested a replacement. A staff member arranged to collect the faulty TV and deliver a new one on 10/11/20. However, on the day, the courier only came to pick up the faulty TV. I declined to hand it over and returned to the store. I was informed that replacements are sent about a week after collection. Not wanting to be without a TV, I opted for a refund and was given return number [redacted]0. They mentioned it could take at least two weeks to resolve. Hello, I bought a Samsung QE65Q75TA TXXU for £1,[redacted].00 delivered on 16/8/20. Ever since, the TV's volume fluctuates, so I reached out to Samsung. An engineer replaced the motherboard and speakers, but the issue persists. Scheduled for 20/11/[redacted], another part replacement is pending. Despite the repairs, the sound quality remains poor and volume irregular. Contacted Trading Standards to report the problems with this new TV. I am opting to exercise my right to reject the TV and request a full refund due to its unsuitability. If a replacement isn't feasible, a refund is preferred. Thank you. Mr. Roger Arrowsmith. I received a laptop that I did not order. DPD was supposed to collect it today, but they did not show up. I need confirmation that the laptop will be returned, and my credit card will be refunded. I did not accept the laptop and I am frustrated with the situation. I have called Currys three times to resolve the issue, but no one seems to know what is happening. I have already arranged for another return online. Please assist me with resolving these problems.
