I bought a Kenwood fridge, model number KTLD60X15, on 18/08/[redacted] without insurance. Recently, it stopped working due to a design flaw - the wire from the door got squashed and cut with regular use. I've been informed that a modified wire loom can prevent this issue. Unfortunately, Currys and Kenwood haven't been able to assist me effectively, leaving me with a non-functional fridge. It's frustrating as all my appliances are from Currys. I just want a reasonable repair for my product.

I purchased a Kenwood fridge freezer from you on 06/06/[redacted]. Last year, I had to replace a part due to the alarm going off and flashing when I closed the fridge door. Now, I am facing another issue where the alarm goes off when I open the door, and the temperature suddenly changes from 5 degrees Celsius to 8 degrees Celsius, and from -18 degrees Celsius to -88 degrees Celsius. This is unacceptable considering the appliance is only 14 months old. When I contacted your customer service, I was transferred to another department after a 45-minute call, being asked to contact Currys again. As a loyal customer who has always turned to your store for electrical items, this level of service is disappointing. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Mrs. M. Yesterday, I visited the Leamington Spa store with my son who wanted a Chromebook. Unfortunately, the staff informed us they didn't have it in stock. Feeling a bit discouraged, I inquired about alternatives and received an unhelpful response, leading us to leave. We decided to try the Covetry branch, where the staff was much more accommodating but still didn't have what we were looking for. However, they directed us to the Arena Shopping Park unit 9, where we found the item. Krisztian, operator number 28 at till 7, provided exceptional service, helping us choose an HP laptop and even advising us on a Sony TV, which we ended up purchasing. Despite spending £[redacted].73 at the store, their professionalism made a difference. I hope Krisztian's manager knows how good he is. Moving forward, I will not be returning to the Leamington branch.

Regarding order no: CUR[redacted] with delivery reference: [redacted], the scheduled delivery for Friday, September 6th between 11 am and 2:59 pm occurred much later at 5:30 pm. Although installation, including door reversal, and the removal of the existing refrigerator with recycling packaging was paid for, the new refrigerator was only delivered and left in front of the space without being installed as requested. After contacting Currys helpline on Sunday, September 8th, a service visit was arranged for Tuesday, September 10th to address the installation issue. However, we managed to resolve the problem ourselves, so the scheduled service visit is no longer required. Please confirm receipt of this email. Thank you.

I am extremely disappointed with the delivery service for my mum's TV. The TV was supposed to arrive on Thursday, but after waiting all day, it never showed up. I had to make four phone calls and spend a total of three hours trying to get help, with no success. They rescheduled for Friday, then Saturday, after three more frustrating calls that lasted over an hour each. When the delivery finally happened, they left the TV in the middle of the room without a screwdriver to set it up. The delivery person was rude to my 80-year-old mother, who is battling cancer. After more than 30 minutes on the phone, they agreed to refund the £45 setup fee and suggested we have a family member install it because they couldn't return for days. This experience has been incredibly stressful and disappointing. We will never purchase from this company again and will be sure to share our negative experience with others.

I am seeking a refund for a laptop I purchased, but I am being denied because I opened the packaging. The laptop was a display model already set up by staff, and although I only opened the set up sticker and did not use the laptop, I am being told it violates store policy. Even though I was informed by customer service that I could inspect the laptop, Currys is not accepting my return. I need to resolve this quickly as tomorrow marks three weeks since I bought it, and I want to return it to the Telford store. I am hopeful that Currys can accept the return and issue me a refund. Thank you for any assistance you can provide before my deadline.

Dear Customer Service Team, Our washing machine broke down right before we left for a holiday last week. In urgent need of a new one upon our return from camping, we visited the Curry's store in Worcester on the 17th of September at 11am. We opted for the Hoover HL168203 with hopes of a delivery on the 19th or 20th upon our return. However, the delivery was rescheduled for the afternoon of the 20th, causing my wife to reorganize her plans. Despite receiving a confirmation text on the 19th (ref number [redacted]), we were informed of a delivery delay due to a broken-down van. The earliest available delivery date coincided with a Saturday when we are not usually home. Attempting to collect the machine from the Taunton store, we encountered issues with the available color. Disappointed with the service provided and the lack of flexibility regarding delivery charges, we had to seek an alternative solution at Argos, adding unnecessary stress and inconvenience. An apology from Curry's for the troubles caused would be appreciated. Regards, T.G.

I recently received my fridge freezer delivery and paid £35 for installation and £20 for the disposal of the old unit. I followed the online chatbot's advice when ordering. I was surprised that I needed to defrost the old fridge and let the new one stand for 6 hours before use, causing my food and medication to spoil. The lack of this important information during the purchase process is frustrating. I question the value of the £35 installation fee for what seems like a simple task. I still require the removal of the old fridge. After a disappointing in-store experience at New Malden, I turned to online shopping. I hope Currys addresses these issues promptly. Please respond quickly with your resolutions to these concerns. Thank you.

Order Number: CUR[redacted] Delivery Ref-[redacted] Hello, I placed my order for a new washing machine with Currys over a month ago. I opted to have a Currys team member install it and remove the old one for £90 and £20, respectively. I had a scheduled slot between 7am and 11am on Saturday, the 28th for the installation, but at 09:48 that day, the delivery person informed me they didn't have the correct team for the installation. Despite confirming this arrangement with the team beforehand due to living on the top floor, they rescheduled for Wednesday the 2nd, then changed it to the 5th after I reached out today. I am disappointed in how this has been mishandled and am considering requesting a refund for the installation fee as compensation for the inconvenience. Hello, I purchased a Lenovo laptop three years ago from Currys PC World along with a care plan. Unfortunately, the laptop fell by accident and was sent for repair on 28/7/19. After a week, I received it back marked as "MISHANDLED." I sent a detailed letter explaining the accident by post but received no response for a week. Upon calling, one staff member mentioned a 4-week decision period. However, when I called after 4 weeks, another staff member extended it to 6 weeks, and then on my follow-up after 6 weeks, I was told to wait for up to 8 weeks for a decision. This delay caused me both time and money on phone bills. When I requested a refund of my care plan on 19/09/19, I was told it would be issued within 3-5 working days. Instead, I received only a cancellation letter with AGREEMENT NO - BHJXB3JY. Upon inquiry, I was informed it hadn't been dispatched for an "UNKNOWN REASON." They promised to send it, but by 1/10/19, I was told to wait another 28 days. I'm very disappointed and stressed with this service, finding it extremely frustrating. Sherin

I recently placed an online order for a Hotpoint Smart Washing Machine (model number WMFUG742G - order number CUR[redacted]). Unfortunately, I did not receive any notification regarding stock availability, and I only saw on the confirmation order that I would receive a delivery date via email. I am interested in changing the color of the washing machine from graphite to white. The color is not crucial to me as I am more concerned about the functionality. I attempted to contact customer service via phone but was kept on hold for over 20 minutes and then visited a store with no success. If there is a way to modify the order, I would appreciate assistance with this matter.

I was expecting my Logik washing machine delivery today with reference number [redacted]. The delivery window was between 3:50 and 7:50, but it is now 8:37 and there has been no delivery or phone call. I am disappointed with the service and hope to receive a timely response. I may reconsider ordering from you in the future. Additionally, your 24/7 technical support seems to be unavailable.

I bought a Hotpoint washing machine (Hotpoint NM11 [redacted] BC A) from Currys PC World Tottenham Hale on October 19, [redacted]. The delivery was on October 23, [redacted], but upon inspection after the delivery men left, I discovered the packaging was damaged, causing the washing machine base to be completely broken. Hotpoint advised that since the damage was during delivery, Currys PC World is responsible for the replacement. I need your urgent assistance in arranging for a replacement, and I have also arranged for removal of my old washing machine, which should occur once the replacement is sorted.

I bought a Hotpoint washing machine (Hotpoint NM11 [redacted] BC A) from Currys PC World Tottenham Hale on Saturday, October 19th, [redacted]. The appliance was delivered on Wednesday, October 23rd, [redacted]. Upon inspection, I discovered that the packaging was damaged, and unfortunately, the washing machine's base was broken. I contacted Hotpoint, and they advised me that since the damage occurred during delivery, the responsibility for a replacement lies with Currys PC World. The receipt from the purchase is attached for reference.

I bought a Swan microwave, but it is faulty - it makes a knocking sound when the turntable rotates. I called Currys customer service and was directed to contact Swan. When I contacted Swan, I was advised to return it to the retailer. I purchased it on September 9, [redacted]. How can I get this resolved? I purchased a SatNav online but realized I might have selected the wrong one. I went to my local Currys store in Barnsley to inquire if they could assist with a refund upon delivery, even though I paid through Paypal. They confirmed I could, so I decided to buy a different model with live traffic and speed camera features. The employee mistakenly retrieved a SatNav with Europe maps instead of UK & ROI. When I tried to update it on my laptop, I noticed the maps for other countries. I informed the staff at the store today, but they refused a refund for the online purchase and wouldn't exchange the in-store one due to it being opened. I've been waiting to contact Customer Services to resolve this for 15 minutes without success. I would appreciate any guidance on how to proceed in this matter. Thank you for your help.

I believe I have the correct email address. In today's world, people often only reach out to companies when they have complaints, but I am here to praise the exceptional service I received. I purchased the HOOVER - Dynamic Next DX C9DG NFC 9kg Condenser Tumble Dryer – White from Currys. The delivery, installation, and old dryer removal all went smoothly. However, I discovered on Sunday, 3rd November, that the water empty box was positioned at the bottom of the machine, making it difficult for me as an elderly lady to access. After contacting the help line, I was pleasantly surprised by the assistance I received from Chris. He assured me that Currys would exchange the machine, even though it had not been used, for a more suitable one when it becomes available. I appreciate their understanding and willingness to accommodate my needs. I plan to continue shopping at Currys due to their exceptional customer service, and I will be recommending them to my friends. I purchased a hob from Currys online in December [redacted]. Unfortunately, it is not working. I initially called 0[redacted] (number in the booklet) but was mistakenly informed it was the wrong number. They redirected me to [redacted]3. After waiting on the phone, I was transferred to a repair company who will be sending an engineer. The repair company mentioned that Currys have been struggling today and advised me that my cooker is not repairable. Now I have to contact the original number again and explain the situation once more. I need to take a 30-minute break before calling them back due to frustration.

I purchased a Hotpoint washing machine 3 years ago along with a 5-year extended warranty for £[redacted]. The machine has needed repairs four times, requiring me to take time off work each instance. Currently, the machine has been deemed irreparable, and I was offered a voucher for a replacement. However, the voucher value only covers what I paid for the original machine, leaving me to cover the additional cost for a similar replacement. I am highly dissatisfied with this resolution. The numerous repairs and downtime without a working machine have been very inconvenient. Consequently, I feel the extended warranty has not provided the expected coverage, considering it is now invalidated, and I would incur extra expenses for a new machine and warranty. A prompt response addressing these concerns is requested.

Last February, we bought a JVC 32-inch TV for my son's birthday. The sound has always been inconsistent and mostly worked with Netflix. However, the sound completely stopped around May. We returned to the store with the purchase reservation number as we lost the receipt. Despite being informed that customer service could trace the purchase, the store in Haywards Heath was unhelpful and claimed they couldn't locate it. They were able to track other previous purchases except for this one. After seeking legal advice, I discovered that the product can be traced using the code on the back of the TV. I am reaching out again in the hopes that Curry's can assist in repairing it under warranty. I have a copy of the reservation available if needed.
