My wife attempted to purchase a dishwasher for our daughter but faced issues with the Bank's security questions. Consequently, I placed the order for the dishwasher with John Lewis. We have recently received an email from your company confirming the order (cur[redacted]) and scheduling delivery for Thursday. I am uncertain whether payment has been processed, but we would like to cancel the order and delivery, and request a refund if payment has already been made. Thank you, Alex Megaw.

Hello, I purchased a laptop in January [redacted] which initially worked well, but after about a month, it started performing very slowly. The screen frequently goes black, and I receive "not responding" messages when trying to switch tabs or open documents. The laptop's sluggishness is affecting my work productivity. I have McAfee and Microsoft applications installed. I tried to exchange the laptop after the 30-day window, but couldn't. I am looking to purchase a new laptop, preferably an Apple one or something superior to HP, willing to pay more for better quality. If there's a possibility to exchange the current laptop, I would like to know if I can retain my McAfee antivirus and Microsoft Word. Your assistance would be appreciated. Thank you, Ayesha AK

Dear Customer Service, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the recent service I received regarding order number: CUR[redacted] on 28/03/19. Initially, I planned for a Tuesday delivery, only to discover the following day that a Sunday delivery was now possible. Despite my attempts to change the delivery date and pay the fee, I was informed this was not an option. As a result, I had to cancel the original order, incurring a £10 charge and a delay in receiving my refund until 10/04/19. Upon contacting Currys, I was informed of a further delay due to a technical issue. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and inconvenienced. The financial implications of this situation have caused me undue stress, prompting me to seek financial assistance from a family member. I had hoped to make future purchases from Currys, but I now feel compelled to shop elsewhere. I hope for a resolution that acknowledges the emotional and financial strain this ordeal has caused. I visited your Lisburn store recently, and I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. During my visit, I encountered issues while using a gift card for payment. Despite being assured that the credit would be refunded promptly, I had to make multiple trips back to the store as the problem was not resolved as promised. The staff seemed unaware of the situation, and the duty manager suggested I wait until the next day to address the issue further, which inconvenienced me greatly. The dismissive attitude displayed by the staff, particularly a comment made in front of the duty manager, was unacceptable. I have been left feeling unvalued as a customer due to this experience. I placed an order for a fridge/freezer with Currys, and the delivery date given was 12-4-[redacted]. However, I received a text on Tuesday stating that Team Knowhow will confirm the delivery date shortly. It seems my order was taken without the goods being available. I am frustrated by this situation and plan to escalate it unless I receive a prompt and satisfactory response. My daughter had to rearrange her plans for this delivery. I purchased a fridge freezer from your Caerphilly store in September. Due to kitchen renovations, it remained in the packaging until late January. It was functioning well until recently when it broke down. Despite waiting for a week, the technician indicated it needed gas, which may take another week to resolve. After the technician's visit, it strangely started working but became overly hot externally, prompting us to turn it off. Yesterday, on Monday the 15th, I received a fridge freezer from your company. I had checked the night before and was given a delivery time slot between 13:00 and 17:00. However, I got a call at 12:00 from the delivery team stating they were already at my house. Since I was at work and my fiancé was at the dentist, this was very inconvenient as we had planned our day around the allocated time. I called back to inform the driver, and after a few minutes, he called again being quite rude and insisting we should have been home. I expect to be spoken to respectfully, especially when I am at work. Unfortunately, my fiancé had to cancel her dentist appointment, incurring a cost, and now can't schedule another one until June. It is frustrating to be given a specific delivery slot only to have it disregarded. I hope for a prompt response and resolution to this matter.

I paid a premium to have a TV delivered today from Currys (order ref CUR[redacted]). I scheduled to be home between 1 and 2pm, but it did not arrive. After contacting DPD, they mentioned the driver couldn't locate my house and returned to the depot without notifying me until I chased them. I am unable to find a phone number to rearrange or cancel the delivery with Currys, and there seems to be no easy way to contact them for assistance. I am unsure if I will receive a refund, if they will attempt delivery tomorrow while I'm at work needing to redirect it, or if they will show up unannounced on a different day. This experience does not reflect good customer service, in contrast to Amazon's reliable deliveries. I chose Currys over Amazon to support a high street retailer, yet I am disappointed by the service provided.

I purchased a JVC 55-inch TV in November of last year under a buy now pay later deal. After about four weeks, I encountered a switch-on issue and reported it to the technical support team. Following their instructions, the TV worked again, but the problem recurred over the next two months and could only be temporarily fixed by restarting. In April of this year, due to deteriorating picture quality and frequent failures to start, I requested a repair, and the TV was collected on April 5th. As of now, it is still in the workshop awaiting parts, and I've been informed that it may take more than a month to resolve. Given that the TV is still under warranty, I believe it should be replaced instead of repaired. The repair code is [redacted] located at TS8 0SL.

I placed an order for a fridge/freezer ([redacted] Grundig GKF15810W) at Loughborough Store on 21 March [redacted]. The Order Reference No is [redacted]. The delivery was scheduled for Sunday, 21 April [redacted]. I inquired about the Easter Sunday delivery, and Store Assistant Armish confirmed it was scheduled. I took the day off work in anticipation of the delivery but waited all day to no avail. Despite the Order Confirmation stating the delivery would occur between 7 am and 8 pm, no one showed up. I later discovered the delivery was rescheduled for Monday without any notification. This unexpected delay caused inconvenience and wasted time. We purchased an electric cooker and hob from your store in Merry Hill, Dudley. We opted for delivery and installation services. After receiving a text confirming delivery on Saturday, April 20th between 10:30 and 14:30, we rearranged our day to accommodate this. Unfortunately, the items were delivered much later, causing inconvenience as we had to make special arrangements due to my wife's disability. The installation was not completed, and a new appointment was set for Wednesday, April 24th. Upon not hearing from them, I contacted them only to be informed the job was rescheduled for Saturday, April 27th. This experience has been distressing for both my wife and me. Considering our long history as loyal customers of Currys, we are disappointed and do not anticipate returning to your store, nor will our family.

I was set to receive a refrigerator/freezer today, only to discover that the freezer needed to be defrosted. The delivery staff were unpleasant, insisting I defrost the freezer myself and leave the old fridge downstairs for them to pick up. I explained that I had paid for removal service due to my back issues preventing me from carrying the fridge downstairs. Consequently, I couldn't accept the new appliance. My complaint call resulted in a terrible experience with rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful customer service representatives. I am shocked that such individuals are handling customer concerns. Not only was my delivery not rescheduled, but I was informed that next time, due to health and safety reasons, the delivery driver might not pick up the old fridge from the second floor. This is alarming, considering the new item is larger and heavier. The level of service I received was extremely unsatisfactory, and as a result, my partner and I will be taking our business elsewhere for this fridge.

Receipt number [redacted] from Currys store in Harrogate on 4.6.19 at 16:56 for a Samsung RS50N3513S8/eU fridge freezer. Yesterday, we purchased the Samsung fridge freezer at your Harrogate branch along with delivery, installation, removal of the old fridge freezer, and a Repair and Support Plan. Unfortunately, the delivery experience was a total disaster. It is now 7:36 pm on 5th June, and the old fridge freezer is leaking (which it did not do before), left unplugged in the kitchen causing a mess, while the new one sits in the hall unused. The delivery team refused to install the new fridge freezer and suggested we get a plumber to provide an isolator, even though we had already turned off the water supply. We are now left without a working fridge despite spending nearly £1,[redacted] with your store. We contacted the helpline twice, but no resolution yet. This level of service is not what we expected after spending so much money.

When we ordered the cooker and fridge freezer for our caravan, we were assured it would come with the LPG conversion kit and be suitable for our needs. However, we have faced numerous challenges during the installation process. The gas fitter who initially arrived was not certified for LPG and had to reschedule, leading to multiple visits and miscommunications. Despite paying for removal of the old cooker and installation, the new cooker was deemed unsuitable and taken away by the fitter. Furthermore, the return arrangements for the cooker have been inconvenient and unsatisfactory. We are seeking a full refund for the purchased items, installation fees, and compensation for the back and forth trips made. This experience has been very disappointing for us.

I received the American fridge freezer delivery today. I paid £30 in cash to have my old one taken away. The delivery team said the old fridge wouldn't fit through the door and they didn't have time, but when my husband measured later, it would have fit. They didn't lift the new fridge over the pillars or let my husband and his coworkers help due to health and safety concerns. I wanted them to ensure no damage, but they had to rush to another delivery. Now I have two huge fridges in my hallway and need the old one picked up soon. I paid for an expedited delivery, but it's still in my way. Please address this promptly.

I recently checked my bank account and noticed two charges of £3.49 each related to a purchase at Curry's. I believe the issue with the sale was that I felt pressured to buy the cover and the transaction seemed rushed because the salesperson wanted to move on to the next customer. With only one experienced salesperson in the store, I wish I had been given more time to decide for myself as I usually rely on my credit card for purchase protection. I am writing to request the cancellation of these charges going forward and a refund for the two payments that I believe were made without my full consent.
