The first call had me waiting for 25 minutes listening to unpleasant music, which led to my mobile running out of credit. I then had to use a friend's phone and waited for another 55 minutes before speaking to a representative. After finally getting through, I was transferred to the wrong department, causing further delays. This experience was not only inconvenient but also costly. I suggest allowing returns and refunds at the store to simplify this process. Please consider this as a formal complaint. The long wait times and multiple department transfers are unacceptable, especially for customers who cannot afford to wait.

I attempted to order a set of Sony WH-1000XM2 headphones online with the promise of free delivery, but once I reached the site, it stated that delivery was unavailable despite the initial advertisement. I encountered difficulties in placing the order and then visited the Basingstoke store only to be informed they could not assist me, even though the headphones were in stock at a higher price. I informed them of the ongoing promotion but was told they had run out of stock. Feeling frustrated, I returned home and sought assistance online through your system, which has left me waiting for 40 minutes without any response. The lack of customer service is disheartening. I tried looking for a contact number and discovered that it would incur charges. I simply wish to purchase the headphones as advertised with free delivery. Subject: Complaint Regarding Misleading Advertising and Inaccurate Sales Advice I bought an 'Apple Watch Series 3' for £[redacted] on 11/11/18 from Curry's website. On Black Friday, 23/11/18, I noticed the same item advertised for £[redacted] with an additional £30 discount, making it £60 lower than what I paid. I attached a screenshot from that day showing the offer displayed on the website. Curry's website boldly proclaimed a Black Friday Price Guarantee, reassuring price matching for purchases made pre-Black Friday. I contacted customer service seeking information on how to claim the promotion. Despite clearly specifying the product I bought, the advisor excluded the item from the promotion. Consequently, I filed a claim on 23/11/18, expecting a response by 06/12/18. Regrettably, the outcome rejecting the item for the promotion only reached me on 07/12/18. Had I been correctly informed by the advisor on 23/11/18, I would have taken advantage of the reduced price on Black Friday and returned the original purchase, staying within the 14-day return window. I am dissatisfied with the inaccurate advice provided by the customer service advisor on 23/11/18. I believe the misleading advertising on Curry's website coupled with the erroneous sales advice warrant a formal complaint. I kindly request acknowledgement of this complaint and an estimate on when I can expect a response.

I recently bought the Nespresso Magimix Essenza Mini Coffee Machine, but its color appears more cream than white next to our white kitchen. Therefore, my husband tried to exchange it at Curry’s for a Tassimo coffee machine in white, which matches better. However, the sales assistant couldn't locate our order number and wouldn't process the exchange. I provided the number I had from my order, but no luck. I've attempted to call several times but was left on hold indefinitely. I would appreciate it if you could help facilitate the return quickly before I exceed the return period. Thank you. I have made five attempts to contact Team Knowhow regarding my recent purchase of a dishwasher. Unfortunately, my calls have been disconnected after 15 minutes each time. I have also reached out to them through their website but have only received an automatic reply and no further communication. I ordered a dishwasher which included the removal of my old one for £20 and installation of the new one for £90. However, the engineers sent were unable to complete either task, claiming it was too complicated. As a result, I had to hire someone else to do the job. Despite multiple requests, I have not received a refund for the installation and removal costs I paid. No one has contacted me regarding this issue. My order number is CUR[redacted]. I am requesting an immediate refund of £[redacted].

Regarding CUR[redacted] and Delivery ref. [redacted], I'm reaching out about the recent delivery of the Bosch Dishwasher, done a week ago. The delivery men were rude and even took a metal plate needed for installation along with the packaging. Despite spending hours on the phone with Customer Service, we haven't made any progress. We keep getting promises of callbacks that never materialize. We are hoping for Curry's to reach out, confirm the missing part has been ordered and arrange for free installation. If no progress is made within the next few days, we'll have to request a full refund and have the dishwasher collected. We apologize for the urgency, but we are running out of patience.

Hello, I am a Sky staff member who participated in the £[redacted] retail voucher offer. I used £[redacted] of the voucher to purchase a MacBook for my son at the Glasgow Bishopbriggs store on 18.08.18 at 12:16. Gavin 8 assisted me. I have £83 left to redeem, but the manager is refusing without a gift card, which I never received, only a receipt and software purchase receipt. Please contact the Bishopbriggs store to inform them that I need to redeem the remaining amount of my voucher. The courier allegedly left the package with a neighbor, although none of my neighbors have confirmed receiving it on my behalf. As per the Consumer Rights Act and Consumer Contracts Regulations, I remind you that the goods are your responsibility until I receive them. I kindly ask you to expedite a new delivery to me promptly and confirm your willingness to do so upon receipt of this complaint. I have contacted Teamknowhow.com on two occasions regarding my recent purchase of a Samsung UHD TV 7 Series. The TV was delivered on December 1, [redacted], and initially worked well. However, shortly after, I started experiencing intermittent sound issues. I have tried troubleshooting by disconnecting and reconnecting the TV from the mains, which temporarily fixes the problem but it resurfaces after about 24 hours. As I do not use a soundbar or external speakers, I believe the issue lies within the TV itself. Any assistance you could provide to resolve this sound problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Regarding order [redacted] I arranged for the delivery of a chest freezer today after paying £10. Tracking showed that it was "on its way" at 6:40 pm. However, upon checking later, it was rescheduled for tomorrow without a specific time. This change is very inconvenient as I won't be home tomorrow due to work commitments. I expected at least a courtesy call to inform me about the delay. This delay has caused a significant inconvenience, especially since I purchased groceries, including a turkey and a leg of lamb, that I needed to store in the chest freezer. However, with no space in my fridge freezer, this delay is a major problem. Please contact me urgently tomorrow morning on [redacted]4. I am seeking compensation for the inconvenience caused and for the items I have purchased.

Yesterday at 4:45 p.m., our item was delivered, but the delivery team couldn't place it in the kitchen due to the box size. Despite our request for them to remove the packaging so we could inspect the item, they mentioned this was only possible if they installed it. Consequently, they left it in the yard and departed. Our intention was to have the item placed in the kitchen, which is why we chose your service. Unpacking the cooker and moving it into the kitchen was challenging for me and my 84-year-old father, who is terminally ill, causing unnecessary stress. While satisfied with the item, we are disappointed with the delivery service. They mentioned it was their final stop of the day, but we still anticipated better service, especially as we now need to handle the packaging ourselves while the refuse collectors are on strike. I recently received a delivery of a washing machine, where the delivery team mistakenly brought three instead of one. Thankfully, I could clarify the error using my bank statement. Initially, my email was input incorrectly by the phone representative, causing difficulties in receiving order details. Despite several calls, I learned I could access this information through my account. An unnecessary call to the knowhowteam.com site before delivery was unhelpful, costing time without purpose. The delivery team was efficient, resolving the extra machine issue promptly. However, I believe Curry's customer service could be more effective based on my experiences with three different operators. I am in need of getting a faulty tumble dryer collected for return. I waited six weeks for delivery only to receive a faulty appliance. Unfortunately, I missed the collection appointment as I wasn't informed of the scheduled time. I tried calling repeatedly to arrange a new collection time but couldn't get through to a human representative. Dealing with automated services and being redirected to the wrong department has been frustrating. I am hopeful to speak to a live person to resolve this issue promptly.

Order No [redacted]: Delivery scheduled for Monday, January 14th, was confirmed via text. Upon booking a day off for the delivery, I received notification on Sunday about a rescheduled delivery for Tuesday, causing inconvenience. Despite confirming my availability on Tuesday morning, I was informed the delivery window was between 12:40 and 16:40, not considering my work hours starting at 4pm. Subsequently, a call on Tuesday morning informed me of a cancellation due to damage. Attempts to contact Currys were automated, leading me to visit the store in person. Although the staff member was attentive, the issue remained unresolved. Further frustrating changes led to a rescheduled delivery for Thursday. Unexpectedly, a call on Tuesday evening notified me of a delivery within 30 minutes, delivering only 2 out of the 3 items. I had been informed of the cancellation earlier, making my availability fortunate. The multiple changes and inconveniences have led to a wasted day off and unnecessary visits to the store, expressing disappointment in the service and requesting compensation, as it has caused significant time and effort. Anticipating a resolution and hoping for a hassle-free delivery of the remaining washing machine.

The Fridge Freezer worked perfectly until the morning of December 24, [redacted], when it suddenly stopped working. Despite reaching out to Curry's Customer Service, I faced difficulties getting assistance due to the holiday season. After losing all our food, the engineer who arrived on December 28 was unable to fix the issue, and we went through distressing times, especially with four young children. I am in regards to case number Cc[redacted]. I have attempted to reach out via email to customer service but have not received a response. I need to address a complaint regarding the poor installation of a Bosch dishwasher on December 9, [redacted]. The installation led to a severe leak, damaging a double base unit and necessitating the replacement of kitchen doors. Despite Curry's sending a technician to inspect the leak on December 23, they were unable to resolve the issue, leaving me to locate a plumber during the busy Christmas period. This resulted in me having to pay for a plumber out of my own pocket. After receiving a partial refund from Curry's, which included a 10% deduction for wear and tear, I pursued compensation. Initially offered £50, which I found inadequate, their subsequent offer of £80 also fell short. The stress and inconvenience I experienced dealing with the leak, arranging repairs, and chasing updates merit a more appropriate compensation. This Friday, we are anticipating the re-delivery of order CUR[redacted]. The initial delivery attempt was two weeks ago, but it was interrupted because part of the item was damaged. The product arrived on a pallet inside the truck, without any packaging for protection. After the incident, the manufacturer advised us to reject unwrapped items. The delivery driver mentioned that removing packaging before shipping is a common practice to speed up installation, which seems questionable given the long distance of over [redacted] miles. We've decided not to accept the unit if it arrives unpackaged to avoid receiving something with a questionable history.

I anticipated a delivery to my house. I waited at home for 5 hours, then contacted Curry's to inquire about the whereabouts of my delivery, only to learn that the driver had difficulty locating my address. I am disappointed that Curry's did not contact me first. Do your drivers not have the courtesy to reach out to customers in such situations? I am unsatisfied with the service and now have to rearrange to be home for the delivery. No one has contacted me to reschedule, and I am considering cancelling my order. The person I spoke to at Curry's had an unhelpful and indifferent attitude.

I have encountered ongoing issues with Currys' website not accurately reflecting product availability. Despite placing an order for a Nintendo Switch with Mario Odyssey game for Christmas, I faced repeated delays and lack of communication about the status of my order. After weeks of waiting and multiple unsuccessful attempts to follow up, I was disappointed to find out that the game I ordered was still not available just days before Christmas. Ultimately, I had to buy a different game to avoid disappointing my son. Even after attempting to reorder the Mario Odyssey game online, I faced the same issue of it not being in stock when I visited the store. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and questioning whether to continue shopping with Currys as an online customer. My concerns extend beyond the product availability to the customer service provided at the Chelmer Valley Currys store in Chelmsford, as it has fallen short of my expectations.

I own a Kindle Fire that is beyond repair, and I am eligible for a replacement under the warranty agreement. My main worry is that because it keeps crashing, I am unable to log out of my accounts, potentially leaving my information vulnerable if it falls into the wrong person's hands (unsure of the appropriate method for disposing of old tablets). The store employees have not been particularly helpful in addressing my concerns. During a recent hospital stay, I discovered that the tablet is great for entertainment, and I am curious if I could keep it instead of exchanging it for a new one, even if I need to pay a small fee for it.
