Help with my Curb issue

The issue in GetHuman-bbbenj's own words
When we arrived at our destination, the driver said the payment cant go through. When we checked our app, in the ride history it was still processing. We waited for * minutes but still nothing happened. So the driver asked if we could just pay in cash so we did pay in cash since we had to get off the taxi. The driver did not give us receipt as well because he said our ride was not reflected in our monitor. we checked our credit card account, **usd is already reflected under the curb name. So our payment was doubled. We paid ** in cash and ** in card. And one more thing. How come ** usd was reflected in our credit card, when the amount to be paid reflected in the driver’s monitor was just **.**. And we even have **usd promo (from the promo codes).
