The issue in GetHuman1159754's own words
My husband was trying to make coffee ... After starting the machine to make coffee, the carafe started leaking the brewing coffee from a hairline crack half way around the bottom just below the metal ring of the carafe that we found. This carafe is less than a year old. (nine months to be exact when this started). I have tried numerous time, with gethuman.com, as I assume this is Cuisinart’s go-to help source, to resolve issues. I am asking Cuisinart to replace the carafe since I feel the carafe was poor quality and had flaws when it was made.
This is frustrating because the coffee maker along with the carafe that came with it is only nine months old, when the situation happened.
They could make this right by replacing the poor quality made carafe with a new carafe.
Have been a customer of Cuisinart for years and since this product was new, the carafe should last longer than nine months
A hairline crack where it is located cannot be fixed.
