I am a crunch gym member who was encouraged to sign up with one month personal training sessions for month of May ****. I made it clear that I could ONLY afford a * month trial package. I explained that I’m ill often with medical issues as well. Yesterday, I was horrified to learn that my bank acct was empty because $*** was on hold to be paid to crunch gym for another month of personal training sessions! Even though I have * week left of sessions due to illness cancelations. I was on the phone all day yesterday trying to contact Eric who signed me up for the personal training. No one answered the Murrieta, ca gym phone until afternoon. Finally someone answered the phone and explained Eric was in a personal training session but would call me back. I waited another * hours, but no call back. So I called again, and the lady said Eric was not working today! So I asked to speak to the manager who was Victor. She assured me he would return my call after his training with a client. But never called me back and I waited into the night. Today, Friday ******* I went in to the gym and explained the situation to visitor the manager. He said there was nothing he could do and that I should have let them know ** days prior to my sessions ending for the month I agreed to pay for. I explained that I was ill and had atleast * week of sessions to use and didn’t expect them to charge me for another month when I was clear I could only afford * month which I already paid for. He said he would not do anything! I was in tears and explained I didn’t have the money for a new month of sessions and that was my rent money that was on hold for crunch to take on *******. Victor said that if there was not enough funds and the card was declined, then no problem. But he already knew my card was not declined. I asked for corporate contact to speak with to resolve this matter and he said, no, I’m the only person to talk to! So I pleaded with him to work out a compromise, ie my monthly membership fees could be deducted from the $***. He replied in an irritated sarcastic voice saying “ what!? And deduct * years of your monthly membership fees! NO! But your annual fee is due I can deduct that and * month of membership from the $***”*I replied” I don’t think I’ve even been a member for a year, and if I have I know I didn’t sign up in July so are you sure it’s due now?”*He said yes!*So I asked for a print out of what he had agreed to do. But he only let me take a photo of the computer screen. Which did not reflect what he offered as a resolution. Additionally, I went to my home crunch gym in Temecula to obtain my true date I signed up with crunch and when my annual fee was due and it’s not until September. So victor the mananger at the Murrieta, ca gym lies to me. Eric, is out on vacation until next week on Wednesday *******, I was trying to wait to discuss this matter when he arrives back but it’s urgent. In tears, I also contacted my personal trainer to explain the situation. Because Victor refused to even credit me all the sessions I had to cancel due to illness and referred me to my trainer Matias to resolve that. My trainer explained to me “ that Victor is all about the money and has been a **** to everyone lately and I should talk to someone else for help”*I’m extremely worried as to how I will pay my rent because of this mess. I’m feeling ill because of it. Please help! Thx*LS
