Help with my Cricket Wireless issue
The issue in GetHuman-milkhon's own words
Find oit why my account was actually deactivated while on auto pay for * bucks. ... I joined Cricket wireless a few months back and this month around October ** or ** I decided to upgrade. Each month Cricket has been automatically taking a payment from my account . However, after I changed my plan online. I assumed it would automatically take the payment from my account being it showed when my account would be debited. The next morning around ***am I discovered my phone not working. I couldn't get on the internet ,text or make calls. For some reason my service was disconnected. Why,it beats me. I was disconnected for $*.** which should have been automatically taken from account as set up. I went to a cricket wireless store only to be told I would have been charged a new reactivation fee all over again due to this issue. Meanwhile, the store charged me *.** extra just for stopping by to resolve this. This is ridiculous. This should have never happened with me being set up on auto pay. When I first signed on with Cricket Wireless it was done in store to begin with on auto pay. I will be looking for another carrier because there are too many hidden fees when I pay my Bill's. Why shut my off and charge me a reactivation fee for upgrading for *.** total ? The associates are not customer friendly either. Yes my service was reactivated but the problem why was the account deactivated to begin with? The associate should practice on his tone of voice when soeaking with customers. It would be nice to have $*.** credited back to my account not my fault a system was created that needs to be updated. A manager or customer service associate from corporate office should be calling me and.apologizing for this incident especially for the associates Cricket hires not being professional and deavting my account for * bucks after upgrading while being on automatic paymemts . What tone and demeanor you have when dealing with customer issues makes a big difference. I am.still trying to debate in another carrier as well. Already the mobile hotspot is not working .
Customer service is important not just making a dollar. Their system will.deactivate an account for upgrading when set up on auto pay. It doesnt make sense at all.
Someone from.corporate office needs to email or call me. I would like a * dollar credit back to my card and Cricket needs to work on creating a better system online and in store when persons upgrade before deactivating an account.
I expected better customer service than.what I received from that associate. He is not customer service friendly at all.
I will be looking for another carrier.
I have an issue with Cricket Wireless too
How GetHuman-milkhon fixed the problem
I went to the local cricket store the same day. The associate said " you better be glad you came by when you because if you would have waited the next day I would have to charge you a reactivation fee plus taxes". But today you will have to pay * dollars more because you came into the store to solve this issue." I said reactivation fee he said yes. I said why? I upgraded and on Autopay. He said the system didn't understand that and saw it as I didn't paying bill. Which still doesn't make sense to deactivate my account for upgrading them try to force me to pay a reactivation fee. That is crazy. The associated rally couldn't explain why it happened that way other than the system didn't u understand the transaction. I have service now but I am looking for another carrier and probably not prepaid where one is charged hidden fees when you're set up on auto pay. My opinion is this needs to be fixed so the system understands this situation. If I had went into the store a fee would have been charged because I wanted to upgrade.
