August **, ******Cricket Wireless LLC**** Morosgo Dr NE*Atlanta, GA *******Greetings:*I am writing because I had a terrible experience with Cricket Wireless on ********** and **********. I have NEVER had such terrible customer service * retail experience.*I went into the Cricket located at ***** Highway *, Fresno, Texas *****-**** on Friday ******** to purchase a cellular phone and new service for my son. I spoke to a sales rep (Antonio) and I decided. I decided to purchase a Samsung Prime for my son at $**.** and an unlimited phone plan. Due to the phone being the last of its generation, the district manager advised Antonio to sell the phone to me for $**.**. When Antonio scanned the phone, it rang up at $*. I paid for the sim card, the activation fee, and the first month of airtime. Antonio wanted to do a test call, but the phone would not turn on. The district manager said that sometimes it could take up to ** minutes for a new phone to boot up and turn on. I had already been at the store for over * hours and I was ready to go home. I asked Antonio what the return policy was. He stated that I had * days to return*exchange the phone. I told him in that case, I would take the phone home, let it charge, and make sure that it was working and if not, I would bring it back to exchange it on Saturday (********). He said okay, gave me my phone, box, and receipt an I left the store.*When I got home, we put the phone on the charger and after about an hour, the phone still would not turn on. On Saturday I went back into the Cricket store to advise them that the phone did not turn on and I wanted to exchange it for a new phone that worked. The manager that was on duty on Saturday was very rude as soon as I walked in the door. She grabbed my receipt and the phone and stormed in the back. She came out and asked me why the phone was free. I explained to her what transpired the day before (she was also in the store and witnessed my transaction) and she went back into the back. She returned constantly saying that I was given a free phone and that was not supposed to happen. At this point I am getting very annoyed because I am feeling like she is accusing me of something. I was a paying customer just like anyone else and I should have been treated that way. Whatever she needed to discuss regarding the cost of the phone should have been between her and Antonio, and the district manager. *Finally, she returns from the back with a phone and a charger. No box, no receipt, and no instructions for the “replacement” phone. The phone was scratched up and I could tell the phone was used. I asked her if I could have my receipt and a box with instructions so that we can know how to use this phone. She said that I could not have my original receipt, nor could I have a box with instructions for this phone because I received a free phone. Again, that should not have had anything to do with me. That is between employee and manager at this point I am beyond frustrated, I have been in the store over * hours, and no resolution. I politely asked for my money back. I was sold a phone that did not work on Friday, and on Saturday the phone is being replaced with a used phone. I do not make purchases where I am not receiving a receipt and I certainly do not pay for items that do not work and are supposed to be new. *I told the manager that if I was not refunded my $** that I would be calling the police. This is when one of the employees stated that he could not stick around if the police were to arrive. All I wanted at this point was a refund and to not do business with Cricket. The manager and district manager were both rude, condescending and unethical. When she finally decided to print me a receipt it had another customers name on it. I told her that was unacceptable because that was not my name and she told me that an ID is not required for returns. This has been the most TERRIBLE experience ever. The staff at this entire location should be replaced ASAP. They are rude and they are running a muck at that store. **I do have a copy of the “fake” receipt that I was given.
