I am encountering a frustrating issue with Credit Karma's two-step verification process. Despite updating my mobile number in my account, the verification code is still being sent to my old number, which I no longer have access to. I have reached out to customer service multiple times over the past year but have not received a resolution. Their responses provide generic instructions on updating my mobile number, overlooking the fact that I cannot access my account to do so. I have suggested various solutions like disabling two-step verification temporarily or sending the code to my email instead, but the problem persists. It seems like a simple fix if only someone would pay attention to the details in my emails. I am at a loss as I cannot create a new account due to my tied social security number and the length of time I have been using their services. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, JG

I’m in my 60s and can't recall the email or password my son set up for me long ago. I recently received an alert about a potential data breach affecting my personal information. The notification directs me to Credit Karma's identity monitoring page to view the breach specifics and suggests changing my password. Given I was impacted by the Equifax breach and have frozen my credit with three bureaus, I'm concerned and seeking guidance on reviewing the details of the compromise mentioned in the alert. I've updated my cellphone number since initially setting up the account. As a retiree, safeguarding my assets is crucial to me. Your assistance in addressing this matter is greatly appreciated.

I've been monitoring my credit scores closely. I currently have two credit accounts - one with a zero balance and the other with $1,[redacted].00, which comes from a furniture purchase financed by Wells Fargo. I've consistently paid more than the minimum due on this account, and all my other expenses like rent, electricity, and phone bills are always paid on time. Despite this, my credit score has been decreasing instead of improving. Recently, it dropped from 7+ to [redacted], which is now considered Fair on Expedia. I'm puzzled about why this is happening.

Hello, I have been using my Credit Karma account for a while but hadn't signed in recently. When I tried to sign in, I forgot my password. After I used the "forgot password" option, I changed it successfully. However, when I tried to sign in again, a screen popped up saying it didn't recognize my device and sent a verification code. The issue is the code was being sent to an old phone number that I no longer have. Can someone assist me with this matter?

Two weeks ago, I applied for a credit card through a CK card advertiser that advertised a 21-month interest-free card with excellent approval odds. After entering all my personal information, I submitted the application but was abruptly disconnected. Despite multiple attempts, I couldn't reconnect to check my approval status. I now fear that the credit card company might be fraudulent. I have yet to receive any updates regarding my application or the company's identity. My personal information is with them, and I am concerned. Can someone help identify this potentially fraudulent credit card company that targets CK members?

I used Credit Karma to file my taxes. While my federal filing went through, my state one was rejected. I followed the steps to fix it, but I'm still seeing the rejection status on Credit Karma. I haven't received any updates on whether the state has accepted the correction or if it's still rejected. Despite emailing Credit Karma twice, I haven't received any responses since my initial filing.

I am experiencing a frustrating situation with medical bills that were reported by Equifax but are now allegedly missing from their records. Unfortunately, Credit Karma still shows these bills. After contacting Equifax and the collections agency, it appears the account has been returned to the original creditor. Equifax claims Credit Karma needs to be contacted to rectify this discrepancy.

To whom it may concern, When exploring loan options, I followed the steps on your website to understand rates from various companies like Prosper/WebBank and LendingPoint FinWise Bank. However, I have unknowingly triggered multiple loan application emails. I have contacted Trans Union to address the issue and have listed the companies responsible. Despite attempting to reach out to your customer service number at [redacted] and through email, I have been unsuccessful. Please remove these inquiries promptly to avoid further escalation, as my next steps may involve reaching out to the BBB concerning this matter. Thank you.

Please contact me regarding an address change that occurred over 14 months ago. CK has been my preferred choice, but I am currently disappointed. I have other issues that need to be addressed, but I would like to speak with a customer service representative. I believe that as Baby Boomers, we should have direct access to live customer service. It can be frustrating to be unable to make simple changes like an address update even after 14 months since the change. You can reach me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted]. Please let me know how we can proceed with a phone call to discuss these matters.

I tried to create an account with my name and social security number, but the system says there is already an account linked to an email I don't recognize. The person's name associated with this account is unfamiliar to me. I believe someone may be using my identity. I need assistance urgently as I am unable to create my account due to this issue. Please contact me at [redacted] or email.

My TransUnion credit score dropped 74 points, and it's suggested that A1 collections filed a collection against me. I contacted A1 Collection, and they have no record of it. They even sent this information to TransUnion. However, TransUnion reports no data on my credit cards or mortgage. I have already sent this info but received no response from Credit Karma. TransUnion claims they don't see this information in their report, yet it's still being reported to me causing frustration. I am unable to speak with anyone as there is no customer service number. Please investigate and rectify this issue promptly, as it is affecting my mortgage refinancing process. My FICO score is [redacted], and Experian is at [redacted], but there seems to be a significant problem with TransUnion.

Hello, I'm Iseline Cleophat. I've been using Credit Karma for around 4 years, and it has helped me build my credit. Recently, I've had some problems with them regarding the accuracy of my credit score updates. Firstly, they closed my Walmart credit card without informing me, causing my score to drop by 12 points. Secondly, I received a message from Credit Karma stating my score dropped by 11 points due to my auto loan, but when I checked with my credit card company, the credit bureau, and my auto loan company, they confirmed that everything is accurate. I need Credit Karma to rectify these issues and reopen my card for my score to improve. I am not very pleased with these ongoing problems and I hope you can consider my situation. Thank you.

Hello, I recently observed that there is an outstanding balance on my Terminix account, which I closed over a year ago with a zero balance. However, Credit Karma shows an increase from $[redacted] to $[redacted] between November 1, [redacted], and December 1, [redacted], on my THE TERMINIX INTERNATIONAL account. After speaking to a representative at Terminix over the phone who assured me that I do not owe anything, I am requesting an invoice reflecting the $[redacted] balance and also kindly asking for it to be removed from my credit report. I appreciate your assistance. Thank you, Laura G.

After logging into my Credit Karma account following an email notification about an improved credit score, I noticed my profile information was outdated. When I tried to update my address, I received a message stating the details did not match TransUnion's current records and to try again in 30 days. Due to being in litigation with TransUnion over a personal data breach, my account with them has been frozen for almost a year, causing a delay in updating my information. Additionally, the address listed on Credit Karma has a typo, potentially impacting my credit. When I attempted to change my phone number, I was asked to verify my identity with my identification card, which was unsuccessful multiple times. Despite filling out a form with all the details provided, the submission link did not work. Despite my efforts, there is no phone number available for support from Credit Karma.

In less than 30 days, my credit score dropped from [redacted] to [redacted]. The first issue occurred when I was late on a $26 payment to Bank of America, a card I rarely use. I was unaware of the balance until I overpaid by $6.17. This incident, along with a missed $20 payment, caused my score to plummet by 90 points. Then, with a $2,[redacted] balance on my Chase card representing 16% of my total debt, my score dropped by another 82 points. Despite charging over $78,[redacted] last year on the Chase card and consistently paying off more than the minimum due, my credit took a hit. I wonder if credit agencies consider long-term account behavior. It's disheartening to see my hard-earned excellent credit decline to fair due to these recent events. I'm hoping for any possible exceptions to help restore my credit. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

I am having trouble accessing my account after my email address was changed by AT&T. I noticed that besides my new email, there are other email addresses listed on Credit Karma that I did not provide. I am unable to log in and reaching out for help only seems possible through a paid chat service. This situation makes me question the integrity of the company. I believe it should be easier to update my email or password. I am puzzled as to why they have email addresses not authorized by me. At 71 years old, I was hesitant to share my personal information online, and now I am concerned about the data Credit Karma has. Unfortunately, the lack of a direct phone line makes it difficult to speak to a representative, adding to my frustration.

I have been a longstanding user of Credit Karma, but recently I am facing difficulties accessing my account despite having the correct login details. Initially, they suggested that my outdated Chrome browser might be the issue, so I updated it. However, this did not resolve the problem. Then, they pointed out that my disabled VPN could be causing the problem, but that also wasn't the issue. I have noticed similar complaints online, indicating that the problem might be on their end. I am starting to suspect if there was a security breach that they haven't disclosed, and this could be their way of addressing it by removing impacted accounts. I am considering checking the dark web to see if my information has been compromised. It's disappointing as I used to trust them, but this situation is getting frustrating.

On February 23rd, my Equifax and TransUnion scores both decreased by 25 points. I am unsure of the reason behind this change. The only recent event I can associate with this drop is my experience with Fingerhut. I missed a payment by 2 days, and they closed my account, offering me a new "second chance" account. Unfortunately, I lost access to view or settle my old account. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, Fingerhut couldn't find my account. This lack of communication may have contributed to the negative impact on my credit score. I am seeking guidance on how to resolve this issue and improve my score. Fingerhut suggested contacting the credit bureau, while the credit bureau directed me back to Fingerhut. Moreover, I have a letter confirming the payment of an old debt and would like assistance on how to report it to the credit bureaus for a positive impact on my score.

After my divorce in [redacted], my ex-husband took on credit card debt which he has not been paying. Recently, a debt collector has been repeatedly checking my credit, causing it to drop every time I boost it up. I haven't applied for any loans and this frequent checking is hurting my credit score. Is this legal? Shouldn't they need my permission to check my credit, especially since I haven't requested any loans? I appreciate any advice on how to address this issue. Thank you, P.D.

Hello, I am seeking clarification regarding the impact of my previous student loan on my credit score. In your application, the student loan section indicates $0, but under "see what has changed," it reflects the amounts deducted from my federal taxes to repay the loan. I am currently using your app to improve my credit score, having recently settled some outstanding debts and planning to settle more. Consequently, I am uncertain whether I should focus on repaying these student loans now. I would appreciate any insights on the adverse effects these loans have on my credit and how proactive I should be in repaying them. Thank you, P.K.
