I was trying to do something, and ran into a problem.
They need to take the "Suspicious of Fraud " alert off my account. also they need to fix there system as it does not recognize my devices even after re-registering them in my account settings. Every time I sign into my account it says it does not recognize the device I am using and every time I check the box that says this is my device and remember it. But it does not remember it at all. There phone system apparently has the same memory because every time I call in it says it does not recognize the phone I am calling from and press one if I claim it to be my phone and phone number and of course I press one and when I call again it gives me the same message and repeat. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get some type of resolution but to no avail. I have spoken to four different "managers" and have gotten four different responses on why this was happening all ended with "call back in a couple of days" which is the best way they can just get me off the phone because they don't have a clue of what or why this is happening, let alone any inkling of what to do to fix it. It's very hard just to get a rep. that I can verbally understand and when I do they are clueless and just give me computer generated answers to anything I say. This has been very, very, frustrating. Now, I find out that my approval has been changed to declined because of "SUSPICION OF FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY" and the last manager I spoke with said there is nothing he can do and that I need to wait thirty to sixty days and apply again and to do so from a different computer. I just need this fixed. But I have no idea on what to do next. Calling in there and to keep explaining what is going on to someone that has no idea of what to do to fix the problem or really even understand what is going on period, is very time consuming of time I don't have. let alone how frustrating it is. I have spent over eight hours on the phone trying to resolve this issue and I am wore out and mentally drained. I have pretty much accepted the fact that I will not be getting the American Express card that I am approved for anytime in the near future. I don't know what else to do.
