Some time ago, my sister rented an apartment using my name and social security number. She linked the account to her email and won't give me access. I'm concerned she may have used my information for other things. She also changed my security questions. I'm unsure how to proceed.

Hello, my name is Annabel Perez. I am reaching out for assistance regarding my Credit Karma report, which shows that I have two Bank of America credit cards. One account was opened on January 19, [redacted] (3 years, 11 months ago) and the second account was opened on February 07, [redacted] (1 year, 10 months ago). I did not open any Bank of America credit cards and would like information on these accounts. I have already filed disputes but have not received any updates on the matter.

I am unable to log in to my account despite multiple attempts to reset the password. The system says an email has been sent to me with a reset link, but I have not received anything. I have checked my spam and junk folders, and the email address on file ([redacted]) is correct. I also tried requesting a text or phone call for verification but have not received any response. Hello, I have a couple of questions regarding my tax estimates for the [redacted] tax year before I proceed with filing. I have noticed an issue with the Qualified Distributions and Capital Gain Tax Worksheet on the [redacted] Form [redacted]. Some lines are missing data while others have incorrect information. I would appreciate it if you could review and fix this. Additionally, I would like to do a trial run of my Massachusetts State Form 1, but I received a message stating that I cannot file until mid-February [redacted]. I previously requested the correction of my name spelling. My name should be spelled as DOUGLAS SURBER. It is currently listed incorrectly as 'DOIUGLAS SURBER' on my credit report. I've been considering getting a credit card to improve my credit score recently. Checking my credit report, I noticed discrepancies between the different credit bureaus. Despite Credit Karma showing no debts to pay off, I'm aware of some neglected collections. Seeking assistance, I contacted Lexington Law and discovered seven debts not visible on Credit Karma. I was puzzled by this and had to arrange a payment plan with Lexington to learn more. It's frustrating that I had to pay for this information, as I wanted clarity on these debts. I'm grateful for Lexington's guidance in helping me address these issues and work towards improving my financial situation.

I recently received an email from you showing balances on several of my credit cards which have been paid off since December [redacted]. The only balance I currently have is with Lending Club, and even that is incorrect in your records. Please ensure that your reporting is up to date and accurate to avoid displaying outdated information. On December 11, [redacted], I utilized the Credit Karma credit score simulator on their website. As I am finalizing my divorce, my aim was to boost my credit score from around [redacted] to [redacted] using the simulator before applying for a loan to buy my ex-wife's house. However, to my surprise, after following Credit Karma's advice and paying off my debt expecting a score of [redacted], I received a new credit score of [redacted] five weeks later. This was only a 21-point increase, not the 69 points that Credit Karma promised. I am disappointed and frustrated with Credit Karma's inaccuracies and will no longer rely on their services, as it negatively impacted my loan application. It would be best for Credit Karma to remove the credit score simulator if it is not effective. Thank you, Steven S.

I am unable to start filing my taxes online. Last year, I had no issues using Credit Karma to file my taxes. Logging into my Credit Karma dashboard poses no problem. However, when I attempt to start filing my [redacted] return, it redirects me to a blank screen displaying "Updating Your Credit Information," and then either gets stuck or takes me back to the dashboard. I submitted an online request to Credit Karma Support and received an automated email confirmation with a case number, but I am still awaiting assistance. I am curious if others have experienced similar issues. This problem has persisted for two consecutive days, preventing me from beginning my tax filing process.

I have had an account since around [redacted], using my current device since April to June [redacted]. It's been over 8 months since I last logged in, and I realized I no longer have the phone number on file to receive a code for login. When trying to update my number, the customer service representative requested personal information I had never been asked for before, like my driver's license, SSI card, and various documents. I had only answered security questions in the past. They allowed me to reset my password via email without issue, but changing my phone number requires this additional verification. Unfortunately, I can't provide the requested documents because my computer's hard drive is full and I'm unsure how to upload them. Since I never provided this information during sign-up, I'm concerned someone may be attempting to steal my identity. I simply want to access my account to check my credit scores, file my taxes, and explore credit card options. Please help me log in securely without risking my personal information.

I am having trouble setting up my Credit Karma account for my [redacted] taxes. Initially, I received an error message saying an account already existed with my email. After unfreezing my TransUnion account, I kept getting a message to try again later. Although Credit Karma verified my identity, I can't log in past a screen updating my credit information. After many attempts, I was redirected to the same page with my credit scores and offers, unable to start my tax return. Now, I am unable to log back in due to a technical issue message. Subsequent attempts still lead me back to the initial credit score and offer screen when trying to start my tax return.

I currently have two open cases where I am looking to update my phone number on my account. The process has been frustrating as my phone number is incorrect, making it impossible to sign in and receive a verification code via text. Despite contacting customer service three times already, the issue persists. Each time I reach out, they apologize and request copies of my driver's license and a utility bill, which I have provided thrice. Unfortunately, I never receive any further assistance, leading me to open new cases in hopes of a resolution. The open cases are as follows: Case#[redacted]7 and Case #[redacted]2. I am in dire need of competent assistance to address this ongoing issue.

After devoting significant time and effort, I was pleased that Credit Karma was able to successfully verify my identity and create an account for me. My main goal in setting up this account is to file my [redacted] tax returns. Upon logging in, I am directed to a screen displaying my credit scores, alongside other credit information, and numerous credit card offers. However, my attempts to switch from this screen to commence my tax return result in the system progressing through a few pages before returning me to the initial screen displaying my credit scores, credit card offers, etc. I am unsure how to navigate from the credit score screen to begin my tax return.

While assisting my partner with filing his taxes, we encountered an issue with the verification code in the desktop site not working on the mobile browser. Despite entering the code correctly and attempting on different devices, we only succeeded on my phone and computer. After submitting ID photos and reloading the page, the phone number update was still not processed. We aim to update the phone number and proceed with our tax filing.

I used to have an account with the email [redacted] on Credit Karma. Today, when I attempted to log in, I received an error saying there was no account under that email. When trying to create a new account, I got an error message stating an account was created for [redacted] However, when I followed the steps, it indicated that I might already be a member. I want to switch my account from [redacted] to [redacted]

Dear Credit Karma, I recently applied for an Apple Card through your website. After submitting my ID photos, I quickly received a decision email. However, when I called the support number provided as "Apple," it turned out to be associated with Michigan State University. The chat within the email confirmed this discrepancy. They stated that Apple Cards can only be obtained through the Apple Wallet on an iPhone, raising concerns about the legitimacy of the process. I am confused about the accuracy of my information with your site and worried about potential identity theft. Additionally, I noticed that only TransUnion reports are showing on your site now, whereas previously, all three agencies were displayed. As I am in the process of purchasing a house and need to establish credit, I am troubled by these issues. I also contacted Goldman Sachs regarding fraud concerns and received unsatisfactory answers. I've been attempting to log into my Credit Karma account for the past two weeks, but every time I try, I receive the message: "We're sorry for the inconvenience. A technical issue has unexpectedly occurred. Please try again in a few moments." Despite correctly entering my email and password, and even going through the password reset process, I keep encountering the same error message every single time I attempt to log in since February 1st. I received inaccurate information about a T-Mobile account that does not belong to me. I don't have an ID and I feel frustrated that it is being associated with me. Now, there is another account for AT&T U-verse that I have no knowledge of. I'm feeling overwhelmed by this situation and on the verge of cancelling my account. It's challenging to build credit with these issues. The frustration is mounting as it seems easier for individuals from other countries to receive help despite not having a credit history, while those born and raised in the U.S. have to constantly deal with these kinds of problems.
