I own a three-story home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in Bloxom and have been experiencing issues with my ads being removed promptly after posting. I have listed properties for rent, rooms to share, and houses for sale, all of which have been taken down without explanation. Despite my efforts to adhere to guidelines and even replicate existing ads successfully, my listings are consistently removed. I feel frustrated and unfairly targeted. - Maggie C., [redacted]

I have been renting rooms on Craigslist for nearly a decade without any issues until recently. Lately, my ads are being consistently "red flagged" due to a troublesome woman who misrepresented herself when trying to rent from me. Despite advertising a fully furnished room, she began moving furniture around, blocking common areas, and behaving in a controlling manner. She also mentioned taking over my dogs and parking inconsiderately, causing inconvenience. She has orchestrated multiple flagged posts and pretended inquiries from others who never follow through. As a retiree relying on social security, I urgently need to rent out these rooms to make ends meet. I kindly request assistance in addressing this situation. Thank you and Happy Holidays.

There is an issue on the Olympic Peninsula craigslist, where someone has been maliciously flagging all posts in the rants and raves category. This action has rendered the category unusable for legitimate users like myself who want to post genuine content. It would be appreciated if the site administrators could investigate this matter using the usage logs to identify the individual responsible for this disruption and take appropriate action to address the situation. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, I am a newcomer to Craigslist. I registered an account for a startup Real Estate Investment firm to purchase properties quickly from sellers. Initially, I posted about 3 Ads, but sadly, only the third one got published. Over the next 10 days, this was the sole active Ad, as all subsequent ones were automatically flagged. Despite waiting a few days before reposting, the issue persisted. Even when attempting to renew the live post, it promptly got flagged as well. I reached out to Craigslist for help, but after 8 days, I have yet to receive a response. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions on this situation. Thank you!

I recently discovered that my second home in Carmel, CA has been listed for rent on Craig's List without my knowledge. I do not have a Craig's List account, so seeing my property listed with the address is alarming. It's clear that this is a scam by a fraudulent Craig's List user. I need urgent assistance to have this listing removed, and action taken against the responsible user. The post details are as follows: Post ID: [redacted] Posted: 22 days ago Updated: 7 days ago

Regarding the posting issue, I am 77 years old and had trouble with not including my contact information in the ad. Initially, I received a number when I posted without pictures, but after adding pictures as instructed, the contact information did not appear. This occurred with multiple ads. Is it necessary to make separate posts for each item? Your feedback is appreciated. Thank you.

I had several posts on Craigslist, and today when I tried to log in, I forgot my password momentarily. I clicked on "forgot password" but then recalled it right away, and I do not wish to reset it. Despite entering the correct password later on, I couldn't log back in. I'm concerned about losing the photos and information of the items I'm trying to sell. Please assist me with this issue. Thank you, Marcia.

Dear Craigslist Community, I wanted to share my recent experience with a potential scam on Craigslist, specifically regarding a rental agreement for a condo listed by James David Harold II, Post ID [redacted]. Mr. Harold provided what seemed like legitimate contracts involving his landlord, Davis Stroud, and another individual named Teresa Little. However, after encountering unusual requests and not receiving the keys as agreed, I am concerned about potential fraud. I have tried to resolve this situation with Mr. Harold to no avail. As an Assistant Property Master for Warner Brothers' "Legacies Season 3," I have always had positive experiences renting through platforms like Craigslist and Airbnb. However, this incident has left me unsettled. I have attached relevant details and documentation for your reference. Any assistance or communication with Mr. Harold to address this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, A. Woodard Assistant Property Master, Legacies Season 3 [redacted]

Yesterday, on New Year's Eve, I reached out to a rental property in Melvindale, Michigan. After discussing with them, I submitted an application for $50. Later that day, I sent them $[redacted] for the security deposit and to move in, with the understanding that I'd pay the remaining $[redacted] once I got paid again. Shortly after, when it was time to meet to get the keys, they requested the $[redacted] upfront. I agreed to meet at the address, pay the $[redacted], sign the lease, and receive the keys. However, they insisted I send the $[redacted] beforehand and kept me waiting for an hour. When I asked for a refund as the ad mentioned it was refundable, they refused. Now, I am stranded in a hotel room with my two children as a single mother. They have taken my money, and I am seeking assistance for a resolution.

I am encountering an issue while trying to place an ad on the website. Every time I click on "Continue," it keeps prompting me to continue repeatedly. I find it frustrating, especially considering my age of 78. It's overwhelming to deal with this constant loop within the 30-minute time frame. I'm disappointed with the user experience on Craigslist. Can someone assist me with this problem? I feel like no one is listening, and it's draining trying to post a simple advertisement for my VW Thing windows. You can reach me, Rigg Kennedy, at -1 ([redacted])-[redacted]. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have recently listed several items for sale in Springfield, IL, such as a snow blower priced at $[redacted], and every response I've received appears to be a scam. Despite having alternative ways to sell my items, I am concerned for both Craigslist and unsuspecting sellers who could fall victim to these scams. It's worrying that in every case, the replies have asked me to accept a cashier's check and arrange for shipping. The scammers typically contact me soon after posting, inquire about availability, ask for a 'code,' and then propose using a cashier's check for payment and shipping. When I mention my cash-only policy, the scammers stop contacting me. Unfortunately, I believe this issue is widespread and challenging to eliminate, similar to the ongoing nuisance of robocalls. Although I might consider using your service again, I have reservations. Feel free to reach out to me if needed. Best of luck to you and the honest sellers and buyers. RJB

Hello, I reached out to a landlord in Kitchener, Ontario, on November 22, [redacted], regarding an apartment rental. I responded to a Craigslist post and corresponded with William Lynn Gatson. He shared photos of an apartment at 85 Duke St W, Kitchener, ON N2H 4Y7, stating that Newmark Global Real Estate facilitated the leasing process. Mr. Gatson, who contacted me from a Spanish number, called twice to confirm my interest. Newmark Global Real Estate sent guidelines, with Mr. Gatson copied on the emails, including an address in Spain and his Canadian passport photo. I made two payments of $2,[redacted] each in December 17, [redacted], and January 4, [redacted]. Despite communication, the promised delivery of the lease agreement and keys did not materialize. Numerous emails went unanswered, and the international number was unreachable. I reported the issue to my bank and local police. I suspect fraudulent activities that have impacted me financially. I seek support in identifying the responsible party and addressing this criminal behavior. Thank you.

I saw a Black [redacted] Toyota Tundra listed for $[redacted] in Lebanon on your platform. Admittedly, the price seemed too good to be true. I contacted the seller at [redacted], who claimed it was his sister's and provided me with the email of L.C. She explained she had relocated to her hometown in WY and proposed shipping the truck after sending money via ebay. I expressed interest but insisted on the vehicle being delivered to Lebanon, as per the Craiglist ad in Springfield MO. Unfortunately, I never received a response via phone or email. I'm concerned about the misuse of my contact information.
