I am currently selling all my belongings in Boulder, CO within the next four days due to urgent medical circumstances. During the sales process, most buyers have been kind, except for a couple of negative experiences. One buyer seemed unsure about purchasing, while two individuals attempted to steal from me. I rely on the income from selling my items, and these negative interactions are jeopardizing that. Whenever I post new ads, they are flagged and removed. I have reviewed the Terms of Use and cannot find any violations. My email is [redacted] The ads are labeled "EVERYTHING MUST GO" under tools and furniture for sale in Boulder, CO. If there are any changes I should make, kindly advise me. Otherwise, considering my urgent need for medical funds, please assist in preventing these disruptive buyers from taking down my posts. Thank you.

When I last signed in, noticed 2 other devices signed in. All my electronics accessed since 1/12. Is it possible to track the other sign-ins?

I would appreciate it if someone could address my concerns regarding fraudulent activity on your website. There is an individual using Craigslist to rent properties, scamming people, including myself and others. Even Century 21 has reported this person. It is unacceptable for a platform to support criminal behavior. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I came across an ad for a Kubota [redacted] RTV [redacted] XT that offered a test drive before purchase. However, the seller claimed the vehicle was in Kentucky on eBay, ready to be shipped. When I contacted eBay, they confirmed it was a scam since they don't mediate Craigslist sales. The seller, under the name Vanessa, listed the item with multiple locations on Craigslist and asked for payment through eBay using cards. She promised a 5-day return policy with free shipping back if dissatisfied. The email provided is [redacted] Barbara Denis.

Hi there, I recently sold my [redacted] Honda Shadow motorcycle and need to remove the listing, but I am unable to access it through my account. Despite not seeing any listings on my account, the ad is still active. I'm Lee D. Browning, and the URL provided via email is no longer functional for canceling the ad. Please remove the listing and ensure no additional charges are made to my credit card. Clicking on the URL indicates that only the listing account can access it. Thank you.

I'm curious why my ad was taken down. I'm certified in Sports Medicine, Therapeutic Massage, mental relaxation, bodyguard services, and retired from law enforcement. Could the term "chocolate clients" be the issue? If so, I'll edit it. What's the specific problem? Thank you for your prompt assistance. Regards - ER Contact me at [redacted] or email [redacted]

I have been monitoring boat listings in Lexington, Louisville, and Cincinnati. I came across the same boat image with varying descriptions and a single email contact. While investigating other platforms, I noticed that more than half of the Cincinnati listings appear to be fraudulent. After reaching out to one listing, the seller claimed to be a widow relocating, offering to ship a boat from Kansas to Kentucky for just $[redacted]. She mentioned involving eBay for the transaction, paperwork, and transportation. This listing reappeared in Lexington, and then in Cincinnati with different stories. The prevalence of these scams on your websites is concerning. Ensuring honest sellers are not disregarded is crucial in addressing this issue.

I have noticed that someone has unauthorizedly listed my property located at [redacted] Howard Ave, Orange City, for rent at $[redacted] per month. I have flagged the listing and kindly request for it to be promptly removed to prevent any financial loss for potential renters. The ID number associated with the listing is [redacted]. Additionally, I want to bring to your attention an email interaction from an individual named Lee Laurie J, who claims to be the owner of the property but is currently in Texas. This person is attempting to rent out the property with questionable details. Your immediate attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Sandra Otto, Realtor

Hello, I recently reported a possible scam situation where someone requested my 3-digit security code via text. Due to my unfamiliarity with my new phone, I mistakenly provided this information before realizing the potential danger. Immediately after becoming suspicious, I contacted Craigslist to address the issue. Following this incident, my account has been frozen, and two of my ads have been removed. I am seeking guidance on how to proceed. Can my account be reactivated? Is there a way to retrieve the deleted ads? Should I consider creating a new account or wait for a response from Craigslist staff? If waiting is necessary, what is the expected timeframe for a reply? Thank you, T.K. email: [redacted] phone: [redacted]

I listed 2 bicycles for sale with ad numbers [redacted] and [redacted]. I added my phone number in the description, but when I click to show it, the ad resets. Clicking on reply also just flashes the show phone number. A friend had the same issue. He managed to see the number after several attempts. I've encountered this problem not only with my ads but also with some RV listings. I have more items to post, but I'm unsure if people can reach me. I appreciate any assistance to fix this. My phone number is [redacted]. I prefer calls over emails as I'm not tech-savvy. Thank you, Jim.

Someone has posted my phone number on Craigslist regarding the sale of a Jeep Wrangler, which I do not own or have listed for sale. I am unfamiliar with Craigslist and unsure how to proceed in getting my number removed. Since last night (Sept. 25), my phone has been bombarded with calls. I even received a call from a young lady claiming the pictures on the post are hers, and now my number is listed as the contact. It seems someone used her Jeep pictures, placed them on Craigslist at a much lower price, and used my number. I am uncomfortable with my number being public and the constant calls. Despite attempts to have the post flagged and removed, it remains up, stating a "[redacted] Jeep Wrangler, 2D for $5,[redacted]" with white automatic transmission. It appears that the situation is ongoing despite efforts to rectify it.

I have been advertising music lessons on Craigslist Seattle/Tacoma for years. Before the pandemic, I used to post ads for various instruments sequentially, but some were getting flagged without any clear reason. Since teaching online now, I have limited my ads to three instruments, each with its unique wording and a shared website URL. Recently, my guitar ad and now my pedal steel ad have been repeatedly flagged and removed, even when I included the URL correctly. These ads are essential for me as my only source of income during these challenging times. I have reviewed the FAQs multiple times but cannot find an explanation. I am unsure if someone has an issue with my ads or if I have breached some rule unknowingly. It is distressing to be removed from the platform without a clear reason. If more information is needed or modifications are required, please advise. Timothy

My husband, Edward Pidcock, and I, Leila Hooshmand, are the owners of the property located at [redacted] Beachcomber St., Marco Island, Florida, listed on your Fort Myers Craigslist website. Unfortunately, our property has been fraudulently listed for rent on Craigslist twice now. We have previously reported this issue, and it was removed but has resurfaced today. A local detective raised concerns about potential scams involving our property. We urgently request that you take immediate action to block our property from your website to prevent any further fraudulent activity that could harm Craigslist users. If this matter is not resolved promptly, we will have to involve the FBI to address the misuse of our property on your platform. For any inquiries or updates, please reach out to me, Leila, at [redacted] or my husband, Edward, at [redacted]. We anticipate a swift response via email or phone. Thank you.

To Whom It May Concern, I am having issues reaching Craigslist customer service at the provided phone numbers. I have tried to inquire about my flagged advertisements without receiving a refund or notification about their removal. This lack of communication is concerning as a paying customer. I am exploring seeking assistance from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) due to these unresolved concerns. It is frustrating not knowing if my ads will be published or removed online. Please address this customer complaint promptly. Regards, Dr. Eric T. Martin

I have been trying to find a walking partner in Portland, Oregon, who wears a mask and follows social distancing guidelines. I am 53 years old and female, as younger individuals may not be interested in walking with someone older, and some men prefer male workout partners. I have noticed a significant decrease in activity partner ads in Portland, with only two posts remaining. Other ads are located in nearby areas, raising suspicions about the moderators or bot system. My own ad clearly states the requirement of wearing a mask and simply walking, yet there seems to be an issue with the lack of responses. Additionally, the rants and raves section in Portland has diminished, leading to frustration within the community. It appears that some posts are being blocked for unjust reasons, despite not violating any terms of use.

I recently received an email that seems to be from Craigslist. It talks about additional support for buyers and sellers during COVID-19 and mentions linking my Facebook account to Craigslist. They claim it's a one-time verification process. I'm unsure if this is a scam, so I'd appreciate any insights!

Hello Craigslist Community, I want to express my gratitude for the vast resources provided by Craigslist that have made life more convenient. I am puzzled as to why my posts keep getting removed. Initially, I posted about rehoming my German Shepherd puppies. I am not a professional breeder; I simply own the parents and the puppies born in October and wish to find them good homes by asking for a small rehoming fee. I am a genuine individual trying to ensure my puppies go to caring owners, yet my posts are continuously taken down. After recreating my account multiple times with verification through email and phone, my posts are still being removed. I am unclear on the reasons for this. I have been transparent and honest in my posts, aiming to assist my puppies in finding loving homes. Could you please offer me insights or suggestions on how to rectify this issue? I am eager to help my puppies find suitable homes. Thank you for your understanding.

I posted my ad yesterday, and until now, it hasn't shown up to the public, even though I received a "thank you for posting with us" message after using the link provided via email. I have experience advertising on Craigslist, so I know how to post an ad. I recently encountered a serious issue after my last post when a woman wanted to rent a room that I advertised. She claimed her husband would also be living there and would do light household tasks like cleaning and laundry in exchange for a discount on rent. However, she tried to charge too much for these services, so we didn't proceed with the arrangement. Immediately after declining her offer, my Craigslist account stopped working. I can no longer receive emails or post without including my phone number. Since then, I haven't received the usual responses to my ads. I usually get many inquiries. I'm a responsible and caring individual who works in education, and I suspect someone may have done something negative to my Craigslist account to prevent me from benefiting from using it. My associated emails are christ_peters@ Yahoo.com and [redacted] Please help me resolve this issue.

My posting keeps getting taken down, usually about 20 minutes after posting. I am not sure what the issue is because I have successfully sold several items, including computers, on Craigslist over the years. I even waited over 30 days to repost this computer listing, but it was still quickly removed. I added a second computer to the listing recently, so here is the newest post ID: [redacted]. I would really appreciate it if you could help me fix this so I can post again. Thanks.

Something needs to be changed regarding the $5.00 fee for listing cars. Leaving Visa or MasterCard info on Craigslist is unsafe. Hackers or even untrustworthy employees could access your bank info. The secure way to proceed is through PayPal, like eBay does for purchases. Your bank info stays safe this way. I am upset that Craigslist charges $5.00 for car listings and expects everyone to trust them with their private bank info. It's outrageous and foolish. Some people who need to sell their cars might not even have a Visa or MasterCard, and the restriction against prepaid cards is nonsensical. This decision seems dictatorial. I suggest emailing this to the company president. Bringing in PayPal could make all transactions safer. It's just a matter of time before a security breach could occur.
