I bought generator from someone off Craigslist on October **th during the power outage,the man said it worked good but just needed the pull rope fixed,he would not let me go to his house so we met up in town,there again he guarantee d that it worked fine,so I paid him and drove straight to the small engine repair shop and dropped it off to get fixed,* days later the shop called me and said they put on a new pull rope but the generator had no compression at all and that the generator was worthless,so I called the person I bought it from to let him know and to see if he would give me my money back and I would give him back the generator with the new pull rope and he wouldn't have to pay for the repairs,he said he would think about it but now he won't answer my calls or text messages,this person took advantage of the power outage to ***** the public,all the store's were out of generators,all I have is his phone number,no last name or address,I have left him polite messages but he won't respond back to me.I am sure Craigslist doesn't want people like this scamming people on Craigslist,I have the ship receipt and want to take this person to small claims court,can you please contact me to help me with this issue,I would appreciate it very much.Thank you ,Rick Hinch ***-***-****
