I own Homestay Community 🏡 and for the past eight years, we've used Craigslist to connect host families with students. However, recent changes on the platform have made the process more difficult. We can no longer refresh our ads easily, and are limited to only two ads per phone number. This has led to a decrease in our business capacity as we used to post several vacancies daily. It's crucial for us to reach international and American students seeking host families. We used to provide high-quality housing opportunities regularly, but these restrictions have impacted our ability to do so. We hope for a solution to efficiently post all our available vacancies each day to continue serving students and families while growing our business. Thank you, Eileen

Steve Gilbertson has accused us of scamming him. He led my wife on for over a week, promising to meet us, saying he would raise the cash and wire it to us, but each time he failed to follow through. Despite suggesting the wire transfer himself, he claimed he couldn't do it due to issues with his ID at the bank, offering yet another excuse. After giving him until the following Monday without any results, we decided to end the waiting game. Despite numerous people showing interest in our RV, we chose to move on from Steve. We tried to reach out to him via phone and email, but received no response. Eventually, he sent an email with the code for the money transfer, but we declined to pick it up.

My advertisement for a [redacted] Hawkins Motor Coach was flagged unjustly by a dissatisfied individual who caused delays and frustration for my wife, leading to us discontinuing negotiations. Despite this, the person labeled us as a scam which is untrue. It is troubling that our ad was taken down due to these baseless accusations. We made it clear we would not accept partial payment via moneygram from him and eventually had to cease communication after a week of unfulfilled promises. We seek to have our ad reinstated on Craigslist and the defamatory post removed to clear our name.

Hello Craigslist Community, I recently posted two ads on CL Chico - one is about finding a housemate for my 2br duplex apartment and the other is to help sell a woodworking business. Unfortunately, both ads were flagged and removed without any clear explanation. The first ad, [redacted], is for a housemate and mentions that I am LGBTQ-friendly. The second ad, [redacted] (originally from [redacted]), is a listing to sell a woodworking business in Chico on behalf of my boss. I would really appreciate it if someone could review these ads and let me know why they were taken down. These ads are crucial for me to find a roommate and earn a commission from selling the business. I seek your assistance in reinstating these ads promptly. Thank you for your help! Best, L. K.

I have faced ongoing issues with Craigslist regarding my job wanted ads in Tucson. Despite my warnings, my ads are frequently flagged or deleted. As a result, I plan to contact advertisers in all markets to persuade them not to renew their paid ads, affecting Craigslist's revenue significantly. This approach has been ongoing for two weeks since Craigslist failed to address my concerns. If needed, I can provide a list of contacted individuals and Craigslist markets worldwide. I intend to take action against Craigslist for their treatment towards me.

Help Needed Urgently! My posts are continuously being flagged in the music instruments section. Despite emailing previously, I have not received any response. The individual flagging my posts appears to have automated the process and is causing significant disruption. I have been a longstanding user of Craigslist and rely on the platform to conduct sales. I urge you to investigate this matter as I am certain my account activity will reveal the culprit. Another user experiencing similar flagging issues has taken the extreme step of filing a police report against this individual who seems to be engaged in questionable activities. It is evident this person needs to be permanently banned from Craigslist. I am distressed by the situation and have no choice but to seek assistance. I understand you handle numerous emails daily, but stopping the flagging is paramount for me. I implore you to address this matter promptly. Thank you for your attention.

Help Please! Someone keeps flagging my posts. I've sent this same email until I get attention from someone. I've emailed you recently on the same subject but haven't heard anything back. Someone keeps flagging my posts in the music instruments section over and over for no reason, except to cause trouble. This person has set up automatic flagging of my posts. I've used Craigslist for years to sell and rely on the website. If checked, you can track any activity on my account to find out who is doing this. I've received emails from others facing the same flagging issues with the same person and have filed a police report. This individual has been posting with the same items for years; they are clearly up to no good. This person needs to be banned from Craigslist entirely! I am extremely frustrated, and my only option is reaching out to you. Stopping the flagging is crucial to me, and I'm desperate for your help. Please, please stop this flagging! Praying to hear from you soon. Thank you! Note: I recently changed my email address to [redacted] in hopes of preventing this person from flagging my posts, but it hasn't worked. This individual continues to flag my posts for no apparent reason. Some of my post ID numbers: [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted].

Craigslist keeps flagging and deleting my ads for job wanted in the Tucson Craigslist resume section. I am frustrated with the limited number of people allowed to post ads there each day. Since free ad posting in the Labor Services section was removed, posting in the resume section is the only option. Craigslist seems to be pushing people to pay for ads in the Labor Services section. I wish I had the skills to create a virus to shut down Craigslist globally.

Hello, I am Bryanna Baragan. On Friday, October 19, [redacted], I visited Denver Craigslist in search of "Excision" concert tickets for the show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on October 20. Unfortunately, I purchased fraudulent tickets under a false name. The seller requested my driver's license and asked me to transfer money via Zelle from my Chase account to their Wells Fargo account under the email [redacted] and phone number [redacted]. I have reported this incident to the Northglenn Colorado Police Department with case number 18-[redacted], and Detective Hoovak can be reached at +1 [redacted]. I am concerned about my personal information being used for scams and would like Craigslist's assistance in tracking the IP address associated with the email. Please reach out to me at [redacted] or call me urgently at [redacted]. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in resolving this matter. Thank you, Bryanna Barragan

On October 19, [redacted], I searched for a vehicle on Craigslist and found a [redacted] Honda Accord listed for $[redacted] by Nicole Case. After contacting her, she requested my personal information to proceed with the purchase. She assured me the car was in good condition and would be shipped at no additional cost. Following her instructions, I received an email from eBay Motors regarding payment and transactions. On October 20, I confirmed my payments with eBay gift cards. Subsequently, Case mentioned an additional $[redacted] payment was needed for insurance during shipping. After paying $[redacted], Case asked for the remaining $[redacted], which I could not afford. When I tried to clarify the situation with eBay Motors, communication became difficult. Eventually, I discovered this was a scam as Nicole Case was not affiliated with eBay. Her contact information was [redacted] and [redacted].

As a senior lady over 65, I've been utilizing Craigslist since [redacted] without any issues. However, last week, I posted an ad seeking a truck driver to assist with my move to a storage unit. While most individuals have been pleasant, there's been one person over the past two days who has changed identities multiple times and engaged in what seems like sexual harassment. Despite my efforts to ignore the calls, he persists using different names and numbers, even resorting to displaying as "Unknown Caller." His American accent, clear English, and deep voice suggest he is around 39 years old. I have documented all his aliases and am seeking guidance on how to address this issue and prevent further harassment.

I am having trouble accessing my two new Craigslist voicemails. When I logged into my account on my iPhone, I couldn't find any link for "messages." I don't want to miss out on a potential sale of my item, but I can't locate the messages from potential buyers. How can I retrieve my voicemail messages on Craigslist from my iPhone? There seems to be no message link available. I urgently need the money and it's crucial for me to access these messages on my Craigslist account. If I miss a sale because I can't retrieve these messages, I will be extremely frustrated with Craigslist and may need to take further action. Please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue and connect me with a Craigslist representative over the phone.

I was scammed by someone I tried to buy a house from. He has taken $[redacted] from me. I'm the third person he has scammed with the same property. He is now using my information, including my phone number, to scam others. Calls related to this property are coming to my phone. I need the ad removed from Craigslist and my information taken down.

I have responded to three separate ads and received the same response. The phone numbers are [redacted] and [redacted], and on Craigslist, the ad numbers are [redacted] and [redacted]. Please reach out to me at [redacted] for further details. Currently, I am residing with my parents in Lawrence, KS, while our house is listed for sale. My son and I are starting fresh, taking our car with us to Lawrence. I plan to use Lawrece Pro Deliveries for shipping and escrow services. They offer a 5-day trial period when they keep your money in an escrow account until you inspect the car. If you find any issues during the inspection period, you can return the car for a full refund. Please provide your full name, shipping address, and phone number if you'd like Lawrece Pro Deliveries to send you an invoice. Your participation is optional, and you can decide after reviewing the process. Thank you, Kimberly McBurne.

There is a home listing in The State of Georgia, USA, on Craigslist with my number, causing multiple calls daily, even at night and weekends due to time zones. I didn't post it and unsure of the location or category. I don't think it's intentional, but it needs to be resolved immediately. I prefer to speak with a real employee or supervisor to fix this error without dealing with automated systems. This situation is frustrating and needs quick attention. Thank you.

There is a food truck listed in Bend for $12,[redacted], but the seller claims to have moved to Kansas. To verify if it's legitimate, I appreciate any advice. Following my divorce, I sold my house and relocated to my parents in Topeka, KS. The food truck is currently in Topeka under the care of Topeka Transport Services with all the necessary paperwork. They offer escrow and transportation services that ensure [redacted]% protection and insurance for both parties. The truck can be inspected for five days with the option to return it at my expense if any issues arise. If you wish to learn more, please share your full name, delivery address, and phone number so Topeka Transport Services can reach out with additional information. There is no obligation to make a purchase. Thank you! VIN: 4UZA4FAD9YCH45450

I operate my own writing, editing, and translation business, managing clients through email and processing payments via PayPal. To attract more clients, I use Craigslist as a platform. I aim to post legitimate ads in numerous cities, committing to responding to all inquiries promptly and ensuring high-quality services. With a positive reputation in the industry, I seek to invest $[redacted] in advertising space for writing, editing, and translation roles - posting $5 ads in 50 cities. Unfortunately, Craigslist's restrictions prevent me from executing this plan. I am willing to pay extra for a solution that enables me to post in multiple cities seamlessly. I eagerly await your response.

I recently acquired a [redacted] Kia Sportage LX with a clean title. It was previously repossessed by Ally Auto Remarketing. I bought it from my boss, who sometimes offers me such deals within my budget. The previous owner, who called and threatened me, may have flagged my post. The last five digits of the VIN are [redacted]. My boss, from whom I purchased the car, is also the person I work for doing household tasks. I want to ensure the legality of my purchase and may consider taking legal action or having a conversation with the individual who flagged me. If possible, I prefer to discuss this over a call. You can reach me at [redacted]. Thank you, and I hope to resolve this situation smoothly to keep the Kia Sportage.

I recently responded to a Craigslist ad for a car and realized it's a scam. The fraudulent listing was posted on October 30, [redacted], in Daytona under cars and trucks for a Honda CR-V priced at $[redacted] in Edgewater. The scammer later claimed the price was reduced to $[redacted] and insisted on an eBay Motors transaction with free shipping. They requested that I purchase a $[redacted] eBay gift card, scratch off the back, and provide the redemption code for delivery within 3 days. After contacting eBay customer service, I discovered they do not advertise on Craigslist. I will not proceed with this transaction and urge others to be cautious. The scammer's information on Craigslist is under the name Deborah V. Lewis ([redacted]). I can share the emails and eBay Motors invoice if needed. Thank you. - Sandra R.
