I have ADT Pulse for my home and Cox high speed internet and cable. I need to replace the Cox modem you provided me recently with a new modem we just bought. I have ADT coming out on Friday to re-do the Pulse connection. Can I replace the Cox modem with the new modem I bought prior to ADT coming out so that ADT will connect Pulse to the right modem? I assume the answer is yes, but please confirm and provide any instructions if necessary. I assume that Cox will need to be notified of information for the new modem that I purchased and I will return the Cox modem this weekend after the new modem is installed and working with Pulse.
