I have Cox home life security. So does my friend. I was notified by Integra. Custom Systems (does Cox outsource this service?) that the alarm had gone off at my friend’s house. She is currently out of town. I was told that they would send dispatch to police. I decided to check at the house to make sure everything was okay. Front door was ajar. No police in sight. Called back number and was told that another second dispatch would be send. Waited for half an hour. No response. Decided to go inside house. Luckily everything looked fine. Door was probably not properly locked by my friend since she left in a hurry. Door most likely was blown open by the wind. Point is I am extremely worried by the way the response to the alarm was handled. I no longer trust this security system?
