I stayed at the Ames, Iowa location on January 22nd and accidentally left my tablet there. Initially, I was told it would be mailed to me, but it never arrived. Despite several follow-up calls, the issue remains unresolved. The manager mentioned in previous calls seems unaware of the situation. I was promised a callback after further investigation but have not received one. When I pass through Ames tomorrow, I expect either the tablet returned or appropriate compensation. My husband and I chose O Fallon Illinois as a stop on our way to Nashville, Tennessee, but staying at this hotel turned out to be a nightmare. The exterior looked appealing, but the interior was a different story. Upon arrival, the lady at the front desk seemed more focused on activities other than helping guests. Our room was disappointing; we were exhausted from dropping off our son at college and noticed the room was a bit dirty. In the morning, we found out the shower wasn't working properly due to lime build-up. The ceiling had peeling and mold, making it the worst hotel experience we've ever had. Despite our complaints, there was no apology from the front desk. We stayed on August 11th and left on the 12th, room [redacted] needs attention and we feel a refund is appropriate.

The hotel itself is very good, with amazing breakfast, cleanliness, spaciousness, and quietness. However, the front desk staff lacks communication skills. During our 3-night stay, all interactions with them were similar - emotionless check-in, lack of assistance with loading/unloading items, and overall unfriendly behavior, including not even providing a name upon request. This was particularly challenging as we had bad weather conditions. I believe the customer service at this hotel must be improved and reported.

During the past 10 days, we visited your establishments in Rochester, MN; Elk River, MN; and Grand Rapids, MN. The first two stays were enjoyable with no issues, and we had a pleasant experience at your hotels. However, our third stay was disappointing. Upon entering our room, we were overwhelmed by a foul smell, necessitating a run to Target for air freshener. We had to endure the odor all night with the window open, facing a busy highway and parking lot. Given the high price we paid for this room, we were extremely dissatisfied. It was among the worst rooms we have ever encountered, despite being the most expensive of our recent stays with your company. The room seemed to have some concerning issue causing the unpleasant smell, possibly mold, smoke residue, or dirty carpets. The pool was also disappointing as the heater was not functioning, leading to uncomfortably cold water. We believe improvements are needed to maintain the quality expected from Country Inn and Suites.

I made a reservation at Country Inn in Lumberton, NC from October 28th to November 1st, [redacted] through Priceline. On October 29th, I had a maintenance visit from two men while I was unable to open the door as I just got out of the shower. Later, the front desk called asking to come in for the TV maintenance. I explained I wasn't dressed and unwilling to allow two men in while I'm in the room, stating I would let them in when I'm dressed and leaving. Despite my repeated explanations to the front desk, the situation escalated with the staff insisting to enter. Feeling uncomfortable and frustrated, I expressed my concerns and ultimately had to leave my room due to the ongoing disturbance. Despite contacting corporate twice and being promised a call back, no resolution was reached, leaving me dissatisfied with the service quality.

I stayed at your Erie, PA location on July 31st and August 1st. I pre-paid my room for 2 nights through Expedia for $[redacted].08. Upon check-in, they took my debit card for incidentals. The night of August 1st, I was charged $[redacted].50, and on August 2nd, another $[redacted].50 was charged. Despite being told it was just a hold, I saw $[redacted].00 charged to my card on Monday. After calling the hotel, they mentioned they charged the wrong card and promised a refund. Following up on Tuesday, I was unsuccessful in getting a resolution. The staff directed me to Expedia for the refund, but I had only pre-paid my room through them. Feeling frustrated, I just want my money back.

I was charged over $[redacted] for 2 rooms twice through PriceLine and had to use my other cards unintentionally. I have attempted to contact Country Inn and Suites without success, facing long hold times and being disconnected. I have reached out to a consumer rights attorney with all the necessary documents proving that I was charged four times the room rate and faced dishonesty in pricing, even encountering an employee who threatened me. Despite this, I have remained respectful. I have evidence of all charges, dates, and the employee's behavior. I am requesting a refund for the excessive charges that have disrupted my vacation and financial stability during a difficult month. I am a loyal customer and feel deeply disappointed. During our recent stay at the Country Inn in Detroit Lakes, MN, we encountered a concerning issue at breakfast. The fruit table was accompanied by magazines, a practice uncommon due to Covid. The upsetting part was the inclusion of a ROLLING STONE magazine with a pornographic image on the cover. It felt inappropriate as many families with children were present. Interestingly, a tattooed transgender woman at the front desk coincidentally added to the discomfort. I have photographic evidence of the magazine display. I came across a distressing situation at the Detroit Lakes, MN Country Inn. While we have always enjoyed our stays there before, I was shocked to see a semi-nude on the cover of Rolling Stone prominently displayed in the family breakfast room. This made us feel uncomfortable and changed our perception of the hotel. I suggest contacting the front desk and expressing concerns about this choice of material. Despite the staff being friendly, this was a disappointing and, in our opinion, inappropriate decision that affected our overall experience. I experienced a disturbing incident at County Inn and Suites in Evansville, Indiana on the morning of September 25th. Around 6-6:15 am, I went to meet my stepdad outside before he left for work. While staying at Laquinta next door, an employee from the inn approached my dad's truck and asked invasive and threatening questions about me. This inappropriate behavior made my dad concerned for my safety, prompting him to stay to ensure I was okay. I suspect the employee, Ashley Ellis, who my dad mentioned, may have a connection to an ex-boyfriend, which could explain her hostility. However, I have moved on and was unaware of her presence. This unprofessional encounter has left me feeling uneasy, even about walking my dogs. I'm unsure how she recognized me.

We arrived in Pinellas Park to list our deceased uncle's condo. My husband booked a room at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson based on its location and overall rating. However, our stay has been disappointing so far. The first room had a strong urine odor and a lumpy comforter. Although we were moved to another room with a slightly better comforter, it still wasn't ideal. Furthermore, the second room had a broken door lock, which made us feel uneasy and we had to prop a chair against the door for security. To add to the list of issues, the shower curtain in the bathroom was almost ripped off the pole. We're considering finding another hotel due to these numerous problems, but my husband is too tired from our journey to go through the hassle. We hope to convince him to switch hotels soon as we finalize the condo listing arrangements.

During my recent stay at the Country Inn and Suites in Brandon, FL from 2/7-2/9, there were two unsettling incidents where both a male and female unexpectedly entered our room. The first time, I was in the shower, which was quite alarming. Fortunately, my husband was present during the second intrusion and promptly asked them to leave as the deadbolt was secured. When I raised the issue with the front desk, their response was disappointingly lackluster. They seemed unconcerned and only inquired about the identity of the individuals, which I was unable to provide. Despite their assurance to address the lock and security, no one came to rectify the situation. They also declined to change our key cards. I will be seeking a refund for this unacceptable breach of safety protocols, especially in the current Covid-19 climate.

I had a reservation at Country Inns and Suites in Holland, MI. Upon arrival, I encountered two feet of snow in the unplowed parking lot and got stuck. I informed the office staff but was dismayed to find out my reservation had been cancelled when I requested a discount. I have photographic evidence of the situation and am seeking to escalate this matter to corporate. It is unacceptable for a business to be operating and accepting reservations while their premises are not adequately maintained, leading to customers getting stuck in snow.

I'm disappointed by the service we received when trying to pay for our reserved room with cash. Despite our $50 deposit, we were denied the room upon arrival because we wanted to use cash instead of a card. It's frustrating that there was no prior indication on the website or any signs at the counter about not accepting cash payments. As a parent of 6 children, being denied accommodation like this is incredibly irritating and concerning.

I made a reservation for Country Inns in Beckley, WV through Expedia on August 30. It turns out I could have gotten a cheaper rate if I had walked in. However, I encountered some serious issues during my stay. The initial room I was provided had what seemed to be blood or a red substance on the curtains. Although I was moved to another room, no one addressed the problem or inspected it. The second room had what looked like chewed up rotten food in the bathtub, preventing me from taking a shower. To add to the disappointment, I woke up with bug bites and now I am dealing with the issue at my home. The hotel overall was very run-down and dirty, with cold breakfast being my only positive experience. Despite the nice pool area, I have no intention of ever returning.
