Costco customer service**I am writing this email to express my concern and experience with my purchase of hearing aids at Costco in Yonkers New York.*I had a hearing evaluation and purchased the hearing aids on October * ****. I believe I receive these devices somewhere around Thanksgiving of ****. I wore them immediately. I was told that it would take me some time to adjust to them. The left device was perfect, it was extremely comfortable where it sat on my ear and the bud was positioned perfectly in the ear canal. However the right device did not feel comfortable and did not stay in my ear canal. In fact the device was so loose that from day * it would fall out of my ear daily. *Since that time I have returned for adjustments to the right hearing aid. When I returned for the adjustments I had complained of the fact that the right hearing aid did not feel comfortable, it felt loose and would fall out of my ear daily. At first a whip was added. This did not help. I believe I came back * more times to have the buds changed. A longer tube was also changed on the device as well. None of these proved a solution.*I am an essential worker and a senior citizen, recently on my commute to my medical office the right hearing aid fell from my ear. This time the device could not be found.*I have since returned to the Costco in Yonkers and have had the device replaced. I have had the placement for just over a week. Although, it has not fallen out of my ear on the floor but still does not stay in my ear canal.*I want to make clear that I have no complaints about the personnel in the hearing aid department. Attempts were made to ameliorate the situation. However, as of now there has not been success.*The replacement of the lost hearing aid was covered under the one time replacement policy. This policy was one of my reasons for choosing Costco for the purchase of the hearing aids. At this time having had the hearing aid for only * months I have exhausted my free replacement.*I feel that having documented the fact that this hearing aid continued to fall out of my ear on a daily basis odds were that eventually it would fall out and not be retrievable. Since I purchased this device in good faith that it would not function properly as it did, I do not feel that this replacement should be counted against my * time free replacement. The loss of this device did not occur due to misplacing the hearing aid. In fact it occurred because of a defective fitting in my ear.*In the time that he has taken me to compose this letter I have had to reposition the bud in my right ear * times.*At this time I am requesting that this replacement should not count against a fault of mine. I am also requesting a solution to this problem.*I thank you for your anticipated agreement with my dilemma.*Please respond to me at your earliest convenience.*Bruce Lashley D.P.M., FACFAS
