The issue in GetHuman-msohn's own words
Today I received the worst customer service ever at the Deerfield ****.*The customer service man Sam was very rude and did not inform me of store policy to ensure a good shopping experience. He was helping another customer and I was next in line waiting patiently for over **mins. and when completed he went to another register to help another customer who came up much later than me. I said excuse me I was next sir. He literaly huffed at me and stated , it was much quicker for him to go to the other register. I said fine but I was waiting over **mins and he just said step over here . He was very rude and huffing and puffing at me and I stated to him. Look I'm sorry but I was waiting over ten mins and I was next. He grumbled at me more and I stated bless you and I hope your day gets better. I just need a temporary card for my shopping today . He grumble more gave me a piece of paper and waived me away.I completed my shopping and gave the cashier the paper he gave me and he said you can't use that to pay today. I said well I wasn't told that and I don't have my card, he turned asked for Cliff and they said restock, my cart was gone and they left me standing there looking dumb founded. I aske dto speak to a store manager and Cliff said I can help you. I told him my situation, his statement to me was, we do not keep customer information here in the store. I said to begin with Sam was very rude and nasty and he didn't care one bit. Then he proceeded to tell me we have restocked your grocery and you can not pay through Costco crad . I asked why wasn't I told that from the beginning,? He stated I don't know. He showed no empathy or apologies at all except for Sams behavior and he would talk to him . After all that he finaly stataed you can go to the ATM or use another card. I said you don't except Fifth Third , he said as a debit they will. I did not know any of this information. I was treated as if I knew all the rules and regulation and offered no solution until the very end. He said to DANA get her grocers back and ring her out. They had already restocked half of my groceries as Dana was ringing up using the restock receipt. She was not nice to me or offered any apologies for the way I was being treated.An employee came with my groceries and Dana stated is this everything. I looked it over the best I could . She had the reciept in her hand, why didn't she just check it or allow me to? I ask for everyone's names after I thought about the way I was treated. I left feeling very upset and mistreated and I for the life of me can not figure out what I did wrong to cause for such poor customer service. No one showed no care to my situation or took any time to be help fool with out being rude. I have been a customer since day one of the opening of this store. I have never left feeling so upset and crying .
