We purchased d a Human Touch model HT**** massage chair on ********* for $*,***.**. PO* *******. **The problem is rather suddenly in the past few months the vinyl covering (we mistakenly thought it was leather) on the front of both arms and seat is cracking and disintegrating in a distinct pattern...for no apparent reason. I am happy to forward photos if you need them. There is no apparent reason for this issue as we don’t ever sit in it and we use the chair for a massage only a few times per month. It sits in our home office and nothing rubs up against it. Functionally it works perfectly. **I called the company Human Touch and they won’t do anything since it is long out of the mfg. warranty. They suggested it is my responsibility to find a company that does reupholsterying. **We are reasonable however we feel a purchase of this magnitude should last longer than * years. We would like to have it repaired or replaced if that is not possible. The only recourse we have is we purchased it from Costco.
