When I opened the account at T-Mobile and got my brand new phone I locked the screen and now it is coming to where I cannot get into any email password therefore T-Mobile store says I need to speak with someone to even have my phone at all please help

My husband and I went in and opened a account at T-Mobile in Santa Rosa California. When I got home I locked it and now I cannot have service at all because it is not letting me have my email address code so I don't get any service they told me I need to speak with you please help I want and need my phone
I don't know what to keep saying to you guys except I want my phone I need my phone I don't get to use it and you guys need to help me T-Mobile's store said you guys are the ones that can help me to have a phone at all!
