I did not receive my unemployment benefit for the week of 04/11/[redacted] due to message code [redacted]. The message states my claim filed online is on hold due to a potential issue, directing me to visit www.filectui.com. I faced this issue previously and it was resolved at the Hartford DOL office, which is now closed. Since I am still actively seeking employment, I am reaching out to request the release of my benefit checks. I suspect the message code was triggered because I reported 5.5 hours of part-time work on 4/4/[redacted]. While my benefits were adjusted for that week, the message [redacted] appeared for the following week, although I was unemployed and did not work any hours.

I am Anne D. Talcott, from a company currently on furlough due to COVID-19. While filing for unemployment, I encountered issues as my account had an outdated email address. Despite this, I managed to submit my claim and received two weeks of unemployment pay by mail. However, I faced problems with my weekly filings due to the system not recognizing my login credentials and SS#. Although I tried to update my information, I was unable to access my account to make changes. I have reached out to the Department of Labor, contacted Senator Murphy's office, and tried various methods to resolve these issues to no avail. I now realize the importance of weekly filings for continued payment. I kindly request assistance with updating my email address to [redacted] and resolving the login issues. Thank you for your help.

Hello, I'm Adam Santopietro. I've been trying to contact the Department of Labor or unemployment offices without success. I applied for unemployment on March 15th, my last day of work due to COVID-19. Despite receiving the plan details in the mail, I haven't received any payments. The plan was supposed to start on March 15th. I've been submitting my weekly claims but haven't received any money. I realized I may have made a mistake by not indicating that I was looking for work. I'm currently only unemployed due to the virus and misunderstood the form instructions until now. Please email me at [redacted] or call me at [redacted]. Thank you.

Subject: Need Assistance Accessing Unemployment Account Hello, I am writing to seek help with accessing my unemployment account. I recently lost my job due to covid-19 and have been unable to receive payments as I forgot my security answers and got locked out of my account. Despite my efforts to reach out via email, I have not received any assistance. I would greatly appreciate guidance on how to reset my profile with new username, security questions, and password to start receiving my payments again. Your prompt response would be highly valued as I am currently without income. Thank you, K.Z. [redacted] [redacted]

I reopened my claim for unemployment on March 17 after my last day of work on March 13 due to Covid-19 shutdowns. I received confirmation emails from the Department of Labor the same day, stating I am enrolled in the temporary layoff/shutdown payment program. However, when I submit my claim each Sunday, the inquiry shows them as held with a [redacted] message indicating a potential issue. All attempts to reach someone by phone failed, as job centers are closed. I am confused as to why I have not received payment for the weeks I claimed, while my coworkers have. I appreciate any assistance with resolving this issue.

I am employed with Fairfield Public Schools in Fairfield, CT. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, I was laid off on March 13, [redacted]. Initially, the school district mentioned they would not be compensating us during this time. I applied for unemployment benefits three weeks ago. Shortly after my application, Governor Lamont mandated that all Public School employees, including secretaries, clerks, and cafeteria staff, would be paid until June. I have now received two unemployment benefit payments this morning, and I wish to retract my application to avoid any repayment obligations. Please advise me on the necessary steps to cancel my benefits effectively.

I am contacting you on behalf of my wife, Misako L. My name is Richard L. and we reside at [redacted] Salmon Brook St., Granby, Ct. [redacted]. Both of us have recently applied for unemployment benefits, and while mine has been processed successfully, my wife's application has encountered an issue. Upon reviewing the initial application, we noticed that her social security number was deemed invalid on filectui.com. Misako holds a certified green card as a resident alien, and we have been filing joint tax returns for the past two years. We kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter. For security purposes, I have omitted her social security number from this correspondence. Please contact me at [redacted] for verification purposes. Alternatively, reaching out via email for confirmation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Richard L.

Dear Sir or Madam, I have two points that I need clarification on regarding my application for unemployment benefits. 1) I faxed my completed and mailed hearing forms on April 5, [redacted], but I have not received any further correspondence regarding my application. Currently, all I see is that my application is on hold. I am a 69-year-old male with underlying medical conditions. Due to concerns about the attitude towards COVID-19 by younger workers at my job, I decided on March 16, [redacted], that it was safer for both my wife's and my health to follow the government's advice to stay close to home. I made the difficult unpaid decision to take a leave of absence and shelter in place. 2) After a 30-day leave of absence, my employer granted me two weeks of 40 hours pay. However, I have not returned to work and am still sheltering in place. How do I report the 40 hours of pay in this situation? Thank you for your time and any assistance you can provide during these challenging times. Best regards, Peter C. Olds

I applied for unemployment on 3/16 and got my initial payment on 3/31. I received partial payment for the week ending 3/21 and a full payment for the week ending 3/28. The next week's payment was on 4/6 for the week ending 4/4. On 4/12, I answered "yes" about getting vacation/severance pay, but it was a one-time "relief" payment from my employer, not vacation pay. I hoped to explain this, but no opportunity arose. I kept filing my weekly claims but haven't been paid for the weeks ending 4/11 and 4/18. The CT DOL didn't reach out. My payment history online shows these payments as "held" with message code [redacted], mentioning a potential issue. It directs me to www.filectui.com, but no other guidance has been given.

I applied for unemployment on March 19th. On April 6th, I was contacted by a representative regarding my claim. I had mistakenly used the wrong social security number and corrected it with the necessary information. Recently, on April 11th, I received an email from CT DOL prompting me to continue filing weekly claims. However, when attempting to file online, I encounter an error message stating "unable to process weekly claim online" and find no claim information available. Is it possible to file my weekly claim over the phone or get an update on the status of my claim? I just want reassurance that my claim is being processed correctly.

Hello, My name is Faye Marklinsky. I submitted my unemployment claim on 3-24-[redacted]. I heard on the news that we should receive our full pay amount due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which in my case is $14.50 per hour. However, upon reviewing my benefits, it appears that I have been underpaid by $[redacted].00, or possibly by $[redacted].00 since my initial application. I haven't seen the additional $[redacted].00 stimulus package reflected yet, but I understand it should start on April 25th, and be retroactive to when I applied for unemployment. Can you confirm if this is correct? I am prepared to provide proof of my hours worked starting from W/E 3-28-[redacted]. I would appreciate a prompt email response to assist me with this matter, as my family and I are on a tight budget and we rely on these funds for support. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and have a great day.

Hello, I am Mark Valluzzi. My social security number is [redacted] and you can reach me at [redacted]. In early April, I applied for unemployment benefits and last week, I received a notification stating that I have reached the maximum benefit amount, and my current claim balance is zero. The message mentioned that I cannot submit a new claim at this time, but may be eligible after the current benefit year ends. Unfortunately, when I checked my online account, the Claim Benefit Year Ending date was 12/21/[redacted], which seems incorrect. I kindly request a review of my claim and any additional information needed for processing. I understand the current circumstances might be challenging, but I urge you to address this matter promptly. Thank you, Mark Valluzzi

I recently received a letter stating that there is no record of covered employment or wages in my base period and to verify my Social Security number with my Social Security card. I filed for unemployment and submitted my [redacted] taxes, but due to Covid-19, I haven't filed my [redacted] return yet. Despite this, income was reported to the IRS by Publisher's Guild and Metro Marketing for [redacted]. I am willing to provide my [redacted] tax documents for proof of income if needed. Can someone guide me on how to resolve this issue and receive unemployment benefits? I want to ensure I've provided all required information and will offer more if necessary. How can I reach the Telebenefits Center for assistance? I'm anxious as my funds are running low. Thank you. - J.G. [redacted] [redacted].

Hello, I'm Maria M. I filed a claim in Connecticut on March 17th. After processing, it was put on hold for employer verification. On April 7th, I received a letter requesting documentation to verify my alien registration number. I promptly sent copies of my resident alien card and social security card to them. Since then, I have not received any notification and am worried about whether they received my documents. I have yet to receive any unemployment benefits and I am uncertain about the status of my claim. I have tried calling but have been unsuccessful. I understand there might be delays, but I would appreciate it if someone could contact me to confirm receipt of my documents and update me on my claim status. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently applied for unemployment and received a confirmation letter, but have not yet received any funds in my account. After receiving a second letter stating that the social security number I provided didn't match their records, I realized there was an error in the number I gave. My employer corrected the mistake on their end, and I'm unsure if I need to file a new claim or speak to someone about receiving the back pay. The letter mentioned validating my correct social security number, but I'm having difficulty reaching a real person when I call. I'm seeking assistance on how to proceed and would appreciate any help. Thank you.

I am seeking assistance with my unemployment benefits. I have been approved since last month and have been regularly filing my weekly claims, but I have only received one payment on my card so far. This is causing me significant distress as I have children and bills to take care of. Additionally, I have not received the stimulus check. I have spent a lot of time on the phone every day this month, on hold and getting disconnected, even after waiting for hours. After finding this website through one of the phone numbers I called, someone finally advised me to email for assistance. I hope for a prompt response as I am in urgent need of help. My name is Adele Williams. Email: [redacted]

Since 3/13/20, I have been out of work. After filing for unemployment on March 25, I was unaware that weekly filings were necessary. I received one direct deposit without notification and only noticed it on my bank statement. Despite resubmitting my work as advised, my employment status remains the same. I can see an account with one payment; however, my unemployment status hasn't changed. How can I receive unemployment benefits for the missed weeks since the initial deposit? Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have yet to receive any communication regarding my unemployment benefits. I have been without a paycheck for five weeks now. When I attempt to file my weekly claim by clicking the green box, I am met with a message denying me online filing access. It took two weeks to gain entry into my account to complete the initial paperwork. I later received a text message confirming my status and instructing me to start filing regularly, alongside an email stating that I would receive a hearing form by mail to determine my eligibility. I received the form on Saturday, 4/18, and promptly sent it back on Monday, 4/20. Despite this, I have not received any further updates and still cannot file online. Working for JC Penney, a retail store currently closed, has left me in a difficult position as I see others in the same situation collecting benefits while I wait. This delay is causing significant financial strain for my family and me. I urgently need the owed funds to cover essential expenses. Your assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Sincerely, J. Jennings

I am seeking guidance on how to correct mistakes I made when applying for benefits during the Covid-19 furlough program. Confusion arose from my part-time employer and myself about my eligibility due to being both an employee and self-employed. I mistakenly applied for benefits while still earning self-employment income, and inaccurately answered questions during the application. Upon realizing my error, I promptly stopped filing for benefits, with assistance from my employer, and aimed to return any funds received. I referred to online resources for guidance since I couldn't reach the Unemployment office directly. I canceled my claim online on April 27th and provided additional context in the form. I am now unsure of the next steps to fully rectify the situation as of May 6th.

To Whom It May Concern, Good day. I am 72 years old and was employed up until four weeks ago. My last day at work was Friday, April 10, [redacted]. I made the decision to stop working based on the need to take precautionary measures to avoid exposure to the coronavirus. I have been following the Governor's orders to shelter in place to protect myself and my elderly clients. Since I stopped working, I have had no income and am facing significant financial challenges. I have been unable to complete an application for COVID-related unemployment assistance for the past four weeks. I would appreciate some guidance on the next steps to secure this necessary assistance during this time. Thank you, Amy U.
