Hello, I am Dr. Donald C. Smith residing at 9B Pilgrims Harbor in New Haven, CT. I require a copy of my registration and a replacement driver's license for an upcoming court appearance. I was recently ticketed by officers for driving with a suspended license dating back to [redacted], which seems illogical as I am meticulous with my schedule and have no reason to knowingly drive under such circumstances. I prefer to ensure my compliance by using a car service if needed. Today, I contacted a different number but experienced long wait times that do not align with my demanding job, which often requires quiet locations. I am seeking assistance from a PD or magistrate due to the unique nature of my case, and I hope to address this matter promptly as my ability to drive has been limited for a week. Your immediate attention to this matter is appreciated, considering the seriousness of my professional responsibilities. Thank you, Dr. Smith. [redacted]

I am seeking information regarding the listing of my married name on the East Lyme tax rolls, which did not correspond to my name when I lived in East Lyme. Upon attempting to register a new car, I was informed of a tax block in East Lyme, despite not having resided there since [redacted]. After a meeting with Sara and John, who were understanding and empathetic, I discovered that my ex-husband, Harvey Dinerman, retained my name on the registration of a [redacted] Acura 3.2 TL (VIN 19UUA5644XA033952) acquired in the divorce. An outstanding tax bill from [redacted] was found under both Harvey Dinerman and Connie Dinerman, as well as Harvey Dinerman and Connie Hilbert (my married name since [redacted]). I did not provide my name for any registration renewal under the latter, raising suspicions of a forged signature. I am uncertain how the vehicle came to be under Harvey Dinerman and Connie Hilbert, given that I was not married to him, had not resided in East Lyme for 17 years, and do not live at the address listed on the tax bill. Any insight into how this naming discrepancy occurred would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance. Regards, Connie Hilbert

My name is Carol Delvecchio from Newtown, Connecticut. In early December, I visited the Milford DMV express for my license renewal. However, I have not yet received my permanent license as of December 20. I checked online and saw that it was sent on December 6. My permanent address is 16 Lincoln Rd., Newtown, CT, but my mail is currently forwarded to 2 Hickory Ln., Shelton, CT, where I am staying temporarily. Although I own the house on 16 Lincoln Rd., I will return there in May. The Newtown post office informed me they cannot forward licenses, so it was returned to the motor vehicle department. I am eager to have my license, especially as my birthday is on January 1. I have attempted to contact the DMV, but only encounter automated systems and have not been able to speak to a live person.

When I attempted to obtain a driver's license in Connecticut, I was informed of a supposed unresolved matter dating back to [redacted] in Vermont. According to Vermont, I allegedly received two tickets, which I have no memory of, nor does my spouse. The police station I contacted in Vermont, as advised by the Justice Bureau, cannot find any record of these tickets under my name in [redacted]. They insist I must settle the fines, despite no prior notifications in 17 years, or appear in Montpelier to dispute the case. Throughout these years, I had no issues securing a New York State driver's license, registration, or insurance. This inconsistency has only arisen recently when I purchased a new vehicle that necessitates a Connecticut registration linked to a Connecticut driver's license. I believe there should be a statute of limitations or a mechanism for addressing tickets that remain unverified after such an extended period. The situation has caused an inconvenience, and I hope to find a resolution soon.

I live in Massachusetts and recently bought a vehicle from a Connecticut resident. Unfortunately, the seller did not provide me with the title. I thought I didn't need one since the car is 20 years old, but now I realize I need it to register the vehicle in Massachusetts. The owner is not responding to my calls, and for me to complete the registration process, I require the signed title from him. His title was last active and requested in November [redacted]. I would appreciate any advice on how to proceed in this situation.

I require written confirmation from CT DMV that a vehicle using a fake license plate registered in my name in New Jersey's EZ Pass system is not mine. Instead of being directed to pay for a lawyer through a paid service like PayPal or a credit card, I am seeking official documentation to resolve this issue before it escalates. Due to a hand injury, I can only type with one finger, making it challenging to communicate effectively. Please contact me for further assistance or schedule an appointment to discuss this matter promptly.

I visited the Winsted Motor Vehicle Office today only to discover that appointments are required. Trying to use their website was difficult, and calling didn't help as I had to wait 45 minutes for a callback, only to be told they couldn't assist me. I need to resolve multiple issues in person, but the earliest appointment available is in May, which is 21 days away. In the middle of a divorce, this delay is problematic. How can a simple title change, new registration, and license address update result in a three-week wait at the motor vehicles office? Can expedited appointments be arranged to avoid affecting my legal matters and Family Court due to Connecticut Motor Vehicles delays? - ES [redacted] [redacted]
