i have received a letter from a collection agency telling me I owe Comcast $*** This is incorrect . I arrived from NY to Dania Fl on ******* and left to return to NY early on *******. All comcast equipment was returned to to the UPS office in, Dania on that date. Since then I have received automated phone call telling me my service was to be disconnected if I didn't pay the balance.*On ******* I payed $***.** not because I believed I owe it but to stop the the harassing phone calls. Now the collection letter has arrived . Attempts to clarify this issue have been fruitless since agent repeat their billing nonsense by rote . Finally an agent gave me a fax* to send proof of the return of equipment etc. attempts were made to fax this material but I could never get verification that it was received. Twice I called to get a number to check if the *document were received and I was given two different *s both of which informed they were not working *s and to call Comcast back. The last time the agent reaffirmed that I still owed $***. This is absurd . I received service from ****-**** * months and payed comcast $***.*** obviously a mistake. How to I straighten this mess out
