I called customer service one day because my internet was out a few months back. The customer service representative explained that there was a problem with my boot file for my modem and it seems its not just mine having problems, it seems a number if ither customers in my area were having the same problem. I was told they are going to work on it and get back to me later that day. Then he told me that my account is elegible for an uograde for a better speed and price, would i like to take the promotion? I was told My ***gb would now be *** with the blast and it would only cost ** a month if I did a * year contract to lock in that price. So I took the deal. Well I habe been paying that price but my speeds have never been more the ******* on the beat of days. So minths go by and same bad service. Then last week My i ternet goes out again and I call customer service again and my call is sent to a teir * customer support rep and after a few minutes of them checking what the problem was they twll me that my boot file was incorrect and he needs to fix it. I explained to him that this happened a few months back amd he looked into what i told him and he tells me that they never changed my boot file when i upgraded mt service and I would never be able to get the ***mbs with blast service with the boot file that my modem was programmed for and it shows that they even had the incorrect zsetting for my modem so my internet was running very badly and that is why I have had these problems for many months, I looked into this and spoke with a few groups that deal with this type of situation and I was told I ahould call you directly. I have been sick this last week and have not been able to speak to comcast billing as I was told that is the department I I'm should speak to first to see how they decide to fix this oversite and make things good with me. I came across this contact form to see if this was the best way to start the process of getting a fair outcome and to have a text copy of my contact with Comcast should you not work this situation in a fair manner as Comcast has once again charged for service not delivered and made no attemt to contact me after the first call about service interruptions and comcast service personal explaining to me my equiptment is not able to even work with the service I was paying for and that if i want the service I am paying for That I need to rest your equiptment because your equipment is the only type that was certified to on work on comcasts network. I already knew they rep was either lying or had no clue what they were talking about and did not push it ferther as it would have only drawn the call out longer at that time. I would like ao e k e to check my records and see I have been charged for services I never recieved and credit my account. I would also ask that my service be set to the *** mbs with blast and honor a two year service agreement as I had already TN agrewd to for the **.** a month. I believe wen I am not asking for any thi g unfair as over the calles to comcast I had wasted many hours and loss of service and speed of service I should have recieved from the beginning.
