Comcast*PO Box ******Seattle,WA *****-******Account **** ** *** *********Dear Xfinity:**Prior to occupying our new home at ***** Colwood Ave NE, Poulsbo WA *****, I visited the Xfinity store in East Bremerton, WA. The various services were explained, most which were familiar to us. We used Xfinity X* at our previous residence. I was informed that the Xfinity X* Platform would indeed work if I chose to utilize our neighborhood fiber optics though Kitsap PUD and iFiber.**I understood that internet service by Kitsap PUD and iFiber would need to be established first then followed by the TV portion by Xfinity’s X* Platform. The internet service installation was a two step process. **First, Kitsap PUD activated our neighborhood fiber. The related charge was $***.**.**Next, iFiber installed the internet service. The related charge was $***.**.**The subsequent Xfinity X* Platform installation was successful but disappointing. The installer was very professional but he explained that the Xfinity X* Platform required the Xfinity internet service.**The Kitsap PUD and iFiber internet service was not compatible with the Xfinity X* Platform.**While wires, equipment and holes were already in place, they would have to be removed.**The Xfinity installer apologized.**I appealed to Xfinity to reimburse me for the installation fees. At the time, I requested $***.** the iFiber installation fee. The credit was processed and I appreciate the gesture.**Unfortunately, I neglected to request reimbursement for the Kitsap PUD portion. I recently learned that the Kitsap PUD fee is charged by iFiber on a carry through basis, while remaining a separate charge.**I would like to request reimbursement for $***.** at this time.
