I am so upset with Comcast right now I could spit!!! I have been a loyal customer for years and years and have had so many problems with Comcast throughout this time I don’t know why I have not changed services! I have had billing issues, signal problems, have had my services changed without my input, permission or request on my part at all. I have been given refurbished boxes over and over again even after requesting one of the new ones because of all kinds of issues with my signal and sound problems. I have had representatives at the call centers lie to me and tell me they were Supervisors and found out they were not at all and have promised me credit just to get me off the phone and of course I never received the credit because they were liars. I have even had to call Comcast Headquarters in Philadelphia and speak with very high ranking Supervisors just to straighten things out because my bill was never the same from month to month and I was being completely overcharged! I have had so many problems with Comcast that I can’t even remember them all. I have even had Comcast destroy a very expensive television because my reception was so bad that it permanently damaged my TV and I had to buy a new one. It could have been avoided too but the * or so technicians that came by were too lazy to climb the pole and check the signal from there! It wasn’t until about the *th technician that he actually checked the line at the pole and told me that it should have been changed about ** years ago and that is why I was constantly having horrible reception and he told me that is what destroyed my very expensive television. Comcast didn’t even do a thing about it either! I had pictures of my TV as proof so they would get me a new one but even after promising to send a manager to my house they never did! And now Comcast changed my channel lineup with no warning and without my request and I lost my favorite channel that I watch every single day, the Science Channel! It does not matter that I have been a loyal customer for about * years, have a contract with Comcast for the package I have and that the whole reason I got the package I got was because it had all the channels I really like including my favorite one, the Science Channel! Now I don’t have it anymore just because Comcast decided to change it without even asking their customers, even the long time loyal ones like me. I have read the comments from other customers that are just as upset as I am and that are threatening to change services like I am considering as well. It is beyond ridiculous! What is Comcast trying to achieve here? Why would you guys do this? Are you trying to run off the people that have been with you the longest? I already notice that a lot of times it is only new customers that get the promotions and they don’t apply to existing customers! I think it is so stupid to upset your best customers that have been with Comcast for years and leave them out of promotions in favor of giving them to some new customer that may only be with you for a short time because Comcast jacks up your bill so much after the promotion is over, forces you into getting a home phone that you have no use for because everyone has a smartphone now and if you don’t except the bundle with the home phone your bill will even be higher without it! It has happened to me before! I just don’t understand why Comcast would do these things to the people that are responsible for their paychecks? I guess Comcast and the executives just don’t really care about their long time customers. They don’t care that the main reason I got the package I did was because it included the Science Channel and now they just take it away and put up a message that I have to upgrade my package and pay more every month to be able to get it again!!! This is even after we made a verbal agreement for one or two years that I would keep the same service and channel lineup for the same price every month and I never requested that it be changed! That just means I was totally lied to and believed what I was told never expecting Comcast to break the contract without my permission or agreement whenever they want no matter what we agreed upon. I thought there were laws against that and I intend on finding out! I want my Science Channel back and I am absolutely calling Comcast Headquarters to let them know and I refuse to pay any more money every month to get it!! Especially after I was cheated for so long on my monthly bills!!! I used to love Comcast and now I am so disappointed and livid with them!! I never thought you guys would ever do anything like this!
