Request help to resolve possible error with previous bills* attempt to set up a payment plan to resolve past due amount as I’m currently out of work due to health related problems* cancel cable and inquire about promotions for Internet-only Services ... Have always been loyal customer for approximately ** years and have rarely ever been late in paying a bill but have recently been diagnosed with a medical condition that has left me unable to work at the present time. While attempting to find the financial resources to continue paying this bill and thinking I would be able to, I received notice that I would be responsible to pay the past due amount by April * or cut off services
This has been a huge challenge for me as I am ** years old and single and responsible for all of my household expenses alone and have no help from anyone so I have been struggling during these recent months while also attempting to regain my health and my strength so that I can return to some form of work though it may not be the career I did have previous to my diagnosis. I am not a deadbeat and I always pay my bills however this was completely unforeseen and has left me extremely vulnerable. Struggling.
I would really like for all of the many years I have been a Comcast a loyal Comcast customer to be considered in my history of paying my bill be viewed and also considered when seeking resolution to this. I am really hoping they will work with me to establish a payment plan to settle the past due amount that I can work with realistically in my current situation so that I do not have to cut services completely with them. And I will do everything in my ability to get this balance paid off as I do not simply ignore my bills as they would see in my history with the company. Clearly something happened in recent months in my life to cause this to happen all of a sudden. I would also really like to lower my bill for the future until I am on my feet I canceling my cable but keeping my Internet and finding an Internet only promotion that I can afford but that is also open ended and does not require that I signed a contract as I do not know what is going to happen to me in the near future with things in my life so uncertain. I would also really like to check on charges for a premium channel being Showtime that I have found on my bills in the amount of $** that I did not authorize and that have appeared there in the past and which I disputed and were credited back.
