Hi! I got a GE No Frost upright freezer that was manufactured in July **** from my sister recently. This unit replaces a Sears Kenmore upright freezer, Model ***** that was purchased July ****. The Sears unit needs to be manually defrosted. Of course, "I" love the GE unit because it's no frost and although used it is newer compared to the Sears unit. Hubby feels we are paying more for the GE than the Sears. What other info do you need from me as I would like to be rid of the Sears unit because of its age and the fact we need to defrost it periodically. Please advise if this is true.

How GetHuman-jmpietrz fixed the problem
Called the *** number for Edison and although I didn't get the info I wanted (costs of running a frostless freezer vs non), I was given into re having the freezer picked up and how I would get my choice of a $** prepay Visa gift card or check. Also unit needs to be working and plugged in before it is picked up. I'm curious, however, what does Edison do with these working units after being picked up??
