Dear Dept. of Labor:**I have been trying to apply for unemployment benefits, but after I tried to apply, the system told me that if I had not earned any money in Colorado since ****, that I would have to apply in another state where I have earned the money. However, I am an international worker, and traveled to Central America as a School Teacher for **** and ****. When the Covid ** pandemic occurred, the school closed indefinitely, due to the virus. Now, I am stuck between a rock and a hard spot, as I do not know how to apply for unemployment benefits as an American International Worker. I should have the same rights as any other American, and should not be discriminated against just because I am worker over seas, which thousands of Americans do in our Global Economy.**Very well, thank you, and please advise.**Sincerely,**Roger S. Blackburn**p.s. I am a Colorado Resident, with Colorado Identification.
