Hello, I am reaching out regarding my Coinbase account issue. I opened my account on March 27, [redacted], and enjoyed receiving commissions through Coinbase. However, on February 6, [redacted], I encountered a problem when trying to log in via the mobile app. The error message "Sorry, account temporarily disabled. Please contact support" appeared. I immediately reset my password and submitted service request #[redacted]9 to Coinbase on February 7, [redacted]. Despite not receiving a response, I submitted another request (#[redacted]3) on February 23, [redacted]. I continued to create more service requests without any feedback. I also reached out to Coinbase's Twitter support, where they initially responded but stopped after I provided the service ticket number. I have tried calling customer support but only reached an operator. I am frustrated with the lack of communication and assistance. Could you please advise on the resolution timeline or assist me in resolving this matter and possibly refunding my funds?

Hello, Good morning, I recently opened an account. I have filled out all the required information. I reside in Florida but I am originally from Belgium. Due to the Covid-19 situation, my Florida ID has expired, and I am unable to schedule an appointment to renew it. To verify my identity, I uploaded both my Florida driver's license and my Belgian passport. However, despite my efforts, I keep receiving the same response: "unable to verify your identity." I would appreciate it if you could advise me on what steps I need to take. Thank you, Celine

Hi Support, I reached out to you back in October regarding regaining access to my Coinbase account, but unfortunately, I did not receive a response then. The issue I encountered is that I accidentally deleted the Google Authenticator App with my 2FA codes. After reinstalling the app, it failed to generate the necessary verification code for logging into my Coinbase account, despite following the steps for account recovery for lost Authenticator Apps and entering my phone number linked to the account. However, I did not receive the verification code via text message even after requesting a resend. My phone and network are working fine as I receive texts from other sources without any problems. I really need to regain access to my account. How can I proceed without the Authenticator Code or receiving the verification code via text? Your prompt assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, A.A.

Yesterday, our portfolio balance was $30,[redacted].54, but today it's only $12,[redacted].54. Previously, we had over 50 Litecoins and over 15 Ethereums, but our current holdings are only 10 Litecoins and 8 Ethereums. We usually make purchases through our bank account. The trouble started when Coinbase mistakenly charged me $[redacted]. After receiving an email notification and attempting to resolve it via email (which was unsuccessful), I reached out to Coinbase's support line. Following a conversation with a representative, the coins vanished, despite assurances they would rectify the situation. We utilized our savings to boost our retirement funds, and things were going well until this incident occurred. We seek assistance from someone knowledgeable who can provide clarity on this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Yesterday, our portfolio balance was $30,[redacted]. Today, it shows $12,[redacted].54. We had over 50 Litecoins, now down to 10, and 15 Ethereum reduced to 8. This all began with Coinbase double charging $[redacted]. After unsuccessful attempts to reach out via the app, I stopped the extra payment. Eventually, Coinbase acknowledged the error via email, promising a refund. Trying to resolve the issue, I called a number found on Google, possibly outsourced to India, where our coins vanished. We were investing to enhance our retirement savings, and this unexpected situation occurred. Requesting direct assistance from someone knowledgeable to rectify this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello! I'm looking into enhancing my account security. The QR code doesn't contain data for my phones to access the link. I already use two-step authentication on my phone, but I'm interested in acquiring a physical security key or stick for added protection. I own a [redacted] Mac and plan to replace it soon. Considering the importance of securing my crypto assets, I believe having a physical option alongside my online security measures is vital. Can someone recommend a trustworthy device or security stick for this purpose? Thank you!

I've received two emails from Coinbase confirming my identity verification. I have uploaded my driver's license three times, twice from my Android phone and once from my laptop using Chrome. Despite my devices being verified, I have been unable to "Buy" Bitcoin through the app, Android Chrome, or Laptop Chrome. Clicking on the "Sign in to Coinbase" button from the verification email leads me to a message saying my verification is still processing. Even though I've received approval emails, I am prompted to submit my ID again when logging into the app. Clearing the cache on Chrome didn't help, and I am stuck in the verification process. I have reviewed the Q&A but am left questioning if Coinbase is legitimate. I'd appreciate it if you could reach out to me at [redacted] or [redacted]. Thank you.

Hello Support Team, I reached out back in October regarding my Coinbase account access issue. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a response. I can't log in because I accidentally deleted the 2FA Google Authenticator App on my phone. Reinstalling the app didn't provide the verification code needed to access my account. I tried the Coinbase Account Recovery process by entering my phone number, but I didn't receive the verification code via SMS, despite requesting it multiple times. My phone and network are working fine, as I receive texts from others. I urgently need help accessing my account without the 2FA code or SMS verification. Your prompt assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, AA

Hi Support, Last October, I reached out for help about accessing my Coinbase account. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a response. I've had trouble logging in since I accidentally deleted the Google Authenticator App for 2FA from my phone. After reinstalling the app, it didn't generate the verification code needed to access my account. I tried the 'Coinbase Account Recovery' for lost Authenticator App by entering my phone number linked to my account but didn't receive the verification code via text. Even after clicking 'resend SMS,' I still didn't get the text, though my phone and network are fine since I can receive texts from others. I'm stuck without the 2FA code or SMS verification. How else can I regain access? Can you suggest other platforms like email for receiving the verification code? I urgently need your help with this. Thanks, A.A.

Hello Support, I am having trouble accessing my account because I accidentally deleted the 2FA Google Authenticator App from my phone. I reinstalled the app but it did not generate the required verification code for me to log in to my Coinbase account. I have tried multiple times. I tried the 'Coinbase Account Recovery' method by entering my phone number linked to my account, but I did not receive the verification code via text message. Even after clicking on 'resend SMS,' I still didn't receive it despite receiving messages from other sources. I need to regain access to my account. How can I do this without the 2FA Google Authenticator Code or receiving the code via text? I would appreciate your help in fixing this issue and possibly adding an email option for the verification code. Thank you, AA

I opened a Coinbase account years ago, but can't access it due to a phone verification issue. I updated my email but still haven't received help despite my multiple attempts to reach out. My husband is terminally ill and recently passed away, complicating our property situation. I urgently need to resolve my account access to manage our finances.

On Monday or Tuesday of this week (1/10-1/16), I was instructed by CoinBasePro to deposit $[redacted].00 worth of Bitcoin into my Pro account just to view a chart, although I had no intention of trading. I moved the Bitcoin from my CoinBase wallet, assuming I could retrieve it the next day. When I checked the next day, the funds were missing. I attempted again yesterday and was asked for an additional $[redacted].00 without a valid explanation, which now CoinBase wallet is also requesting. I am frustrated and feel unfairly treated. I demand the return of my $[redacted].00 worth of BTC and the $[redacted].00 being requested. If this issue persists, I will take legal action against CoinBase for theft and defamation. I am disappointed that phone support is unavailable as I have more details to share regarding the impact on my finances. Sincerely, a long-time client, Tucker Schade

I recently received another email from Coinbase indicating they plan to automatically recover $12,[redacted] from my account on Jan. 17th by liquidating my assets. They allege that I initiated a failed transfer of $12,[redacted], which is untrue as I do not owe them any money. My experience with Coinbase has been disappointing, as they previously tried to withdraw an additional $7,[redacted] without explanation. After stopping this unauthorized payment, they mistakenly deposited $7,[redacted] into my bank account. As a result, they removed 40 Litecoins from my account to rectify their error. The lack of professionalism and communication from Coinbase is concerning. Their customer service is inadequate, and the staff seem uninformed about resolving issues. I am considering taking action to address these ongoing problems with the company.

Dear Sir or Madam, On the morning of 13.01.21, I was asked by an "employee of Microsoft" to open an account at Coinbase to pay a fee to Microsoft to clean my notebook from hackers. I opened the account with the "employee of Microsoft," who has access to photos of my passport that were sent to his email address. On 13.01.21 at 8:51, I received the Coinbase verification code via SMS. The following day, 14.01.21 at 13:23, I received a message that the two-factor settings had been changed to phone number +[redacted]1, which I did not change. I suspect my account has been compromised and have asked to disable it. I have an account at Coinbase but cannot access it; I do not know the account number, password, email address associated with the account, statement details, or transaction history. The "employee of Microsoft" has access to the account. I have tried to contact Coinbase but have been unsuccessful. Can you assist me in obtaining information about my account?

I signed up for Coinbase a few years back, around [redacted] or [redacted]. I recall not being able to input a Taiwanese phone number at that time. Recently, I attempted to log back in at the end of [redacted], but I encountered an issue with account recovery. When I tried to restore my account using SMS verification, a message appeared saying I couldn't proceed as I didn't have a primary phone number on file. I've been stuck ever since. While I can receive email login confirmations and reset my password, I'm unable to move forward without a primary phone number for account recovery."

I requested assistance to set up Coin Base from a representative, who then helped me set up a Gemini account since he couldn't do it through Coinbase. Later on, I managed to set up a Coinbase account myself. The plan was for him to transfer the funds from Gemini to Coinbase. If you need to contact Coinbase, their toll-free number is [redacted]. Customers have suggested reaching out through GetHuman for support. Here are the contact details mentioned: Peter 1-[redacted] 1-[redacted]

On Monday, January 29th, at 3:03, 3:07, and 3:08 p.m., I attempted to sell all my bitcoins (0.[redacted]). I made 3 attempts because the Coinbase app was not functioning properly, and I couldn't see the sale going through. Later, the Coinbase app stopped working for hours, and around 6 p.m., I was able to log in. The issue is that it has recorded the three attempts, leaving the first two pending in the euro wallet history (valued at [redacted].91 and [redacted].84 respectively), where I currently have 0.14 euros, and the last attempt shows up in my bitcoin wallet history as if I sent my bitcoins to transfer@coinbase for a value of [redacted].29 euros at a currency price of [redacted].44 euros, and it shows as completed but I have not received any email. How can I retrieve my money or bitcoins? Please help me. Thank you.

On Friday, January 29, [redacted], I accessed my Coinbase account to buy some cryptocurrency. When I checked my Portfolio page, it displayed a zero balance. I contacted Coinbase to report the issue. Following Coinbase's phone prompts, I allowed them to verify my identity by taking a snapshot at my computer. Currently, I am unable to access my Coinbase account on my computer. Around 1 am this morning, Saturday, January 30, [redacted], I received a text from Coinbase stating that my problem had been resolved. Nonetheless, I am still unable to log in to my account on the Coinbase website.

I contacted a number, [redacted], listed as Coinbase customer service while on my account for help with a withdrawal. A person named Andrew Patrick claimed to be an employee with ID RG [redacted]. He mentioned validating my account and identity due to reported hacking attempts. I provided my name and location [#[redacted], San Francisco, CA]. Following his instructions, I opened a Venmo account, where $[redacted] appeared without my approval. Andrew mentioned this was required to validate my Coinbase account. Subsequently, my Coinbase account was drained of $[redacted]. Andrew then requested I buy a Walmart gift card, initially $[redacted] but later lowered to $[redacted] when I couldn't afford it. He has now called, promising to refund the money but insisted on accessing my phone via AnyDesk to retrieve the gift card codes for validation. He claimed the account was still active on the server and needed this step to be resolved. I am confused by his requests.
