Hello, I recently joined Coinbase almost a week ago. I attempted to withdraw funds to my bank, but I received a message stating I don't have enough available funds. I have around $[redacted] in my Coinbase account, so I'm unsure what the issue might be. I've watched YouTube videos and reviewed Coinbase's FAQs, but I can't seem to find an explanation for why I'm experiencing this withdrawal problem. It's been almost a week, and I'm still unable to withdraw any money. I would appreciate some assistance on how to resolve this issue. Thank you.

I need to verify my account with my ID. However, I can't proceed because it's asking for a phone number I no longer have. Could you please allow me to verify with my email instead of my phone? I find it very frustrating to be so close to verifying my ID but getting stuck at the phone verification step. My account is under the email [redacted] Thank you.

I am unable to access my Coinbase account. I recently updated my email address, and now I am unable to receive any communication on my old email. The platform seems to think that my device has changed, although it has not. My phone number is still valid. I am stuck in the account reset process where I need to upload pictures of my license and take a selfie. Unfortunately, I am unable to progress further to regain access to my account. I have attempted to seek help from their support team multiple times, but have not received any response in the past two weeks. Can someone advise me on what steps to take next?

This morning, I had a strange interaction with Richard regarding my holdings. He accessed my computer remotely and attempted to change my assets from XRP to Coinbase without my consent. He then claimed my account was compromised and advised me not to access it for a week, promising to call back next Sunday. This entire situation raised red flags for me, especially since he used LogMeIn to gain control of my account. I am concerned that this might be a scam. I kindly request to have my XRP and Lumens holdings restored to their original state before Richard altered them to Bitcoin, resulting in a significant balance decrease from $[redacted] to $[redacted]. Richard's instructions to avoid the site for a week seemed suspicious. Please reach out to me at [redacted].

This is my second request regarding a security breach. I am seeking to speak to a live customer service representative. Below is an account of the situation I am submitting to the FTC for review: I was investing in blockchain assets through the company Coinbase. When facing technical issues with my initial account, a technician named Richard attempted to assist me with the verification process. After unsuccessful attempts to resolve the problem, I wired $[redacted] to Coinbase as instructed. However, my bank relayed that the wire was returned. Richard promised the return of the $40 wire fees to my new account. Following this, I created a new account on the official Coinbase website and began trading XRP shares successfully. Despite this, when requesting my $40 wire fee refund, I was informed it would take till Saturday morning to process. On Saturday, Richard used a remote program to access my account and mentioned a potential security breach, placing a 7-day hold on my trading activities for safety. Despite my instructions not to transfer my investments, half was converted to Bitcoin without consent. Coinbase states they will contact me the following Sunday to resolve the matter and assure it is for my protection.

I encountered an issue where an ACH transfer vanished after it failed due to incorrect account details. I resolved the problem with my bank and then followed Coinbase's instructions to make three deposits and two fees to have the coins returned. Despite the corrections made, I have yet to see the funds reflected. The money remains in my bank account, leaving me uncertain whether I should rebuy the coins and refill my Coinbase wallet or if I am stuck waiting. The lack of customer service is frustrating. It feels like I would have better luck being approached in a morgue. This has been an incredibly disappointing customer service experience.

I experienced difficulties with my initial Coinbase account while trying to invest in blockchain stock. Their technician, Richard, assisted but requested a wired amount ($[redacted]) which was later returned. Richard advised opening a new account, where I successfully bought $[redacted] worth of XRP stock. I contacted Coinbase for a refund of the $40 wire fees. They mentioned a merger of my accounts to issue the refund. When I refused, Richard alleged a hacking attempt, freezing my account for 7 days. They converted $[redacted] of my XRP investments to $[redacted] in Bitcoin, with a promise to resolve the issue in 7 days for security reasons. I requested not to transfer my funds, but half was moved to Bitcoin without permission, and the rest vanished. I am awaiting a call next Sunday for a resolution, as they claim the security hold is for my benefit.

Using a service other than CoinBase seems suspicious to me. Dealing with so many verification codes due to security measures is frustrating. I am concerned about the safety of my private information and the $[redacted] Christmas gift from my son that CoinBase now holds. A direct phone call from CoinBase, rather than an outsourced service, would be much appreciated. If I don't receive a call, I will need to escalate this issue as the current service is unacceptable. I am extremely upset as I have spent countless hours trying to access my account. Kindly contact me at your earliest convenience. This situation has brought me to tears. Joan Beardi

I am having difficulties with Coinbase due to a scam involving con men misusing the company's name. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, I only received an automated email response and haven't been able to resolve the issue. A technician named Richard advised me incorrectly to wire $[redacted] to fix a problem with my account, resulting in the money being returned by my bank. Subsequently, after opening a new functional account, when I tried to retrieve my $40 wire fees, I was informed that my funds had been traded without authorization. Coinbase claimed my account needed to be put on hold for security reasons and half of my investment was transferred to Bitcoin. I feel neglected by Coinbase and am considering involving the FTC if the matter is not resolved promptly. Vincent J. Palminteri

Coinbase sent me emails confirming that my account was hacked, and the culprits converted my funds to Bitcoin, stealing $[redacted]. Although Coinbase informed me that the last $[redacted] purchase I made could not be sent until December 11, [redacted], the communication clearly shows where my money was sent. Coinbase should take action to recover my funds and prosecute the criminals behind this. Despite the lack of response from Coinbase, I am hesitant to reactivate my account until the issue is resolved. This level of customer service is unacceptable for a financial institution. The impostors posing as Coinbase employees are damaging both the company's reputation and my finances. I urge Coinbase to provide a more personalized response. Thank you.

I have been attempting to log in to my Coinbase account for a few days now. After submitting my photo ID for verification, I received an email confirming my account was verified. However, upon trying to access it, I am faced with a two-step verification process. Although I receive the code on my new iPhone, the system does not recognize it and I am unable to proceed.

I completed the verification process but now my account is restricted. I am unable to trade or withdraw my funds. After contacting support, I was told to wait 5-7 days for a response. It's been over 3 weeks with no reply. Despite opening several new tickets, they get closed without any answer. I urgently need access to my funds.

Hello, this is John R. My email address is [redacted] I recently bought a new iPhone 12 and transferred my data from my iPhone 11. However, when I tried to access the Coinbase app on my new phone, it asked for my two-step authentication code which I no longer have as I signed up three years ago. I accidentally disabled my account after this. I haven't noticed any suspicious activity; I just need help recovering my account. I've tried the prompts on the help site, but they keep asking for the verification code I don't have. I'm worried about my funds. Can someone assist me in resolving this issue? Thank you for your help.

I encountered an issue with my Coinbase account. When setting it up, the system automatically selected the Netherlands as my country instead of the U.S. due to my VPN usage. This caused a verification problem as my driver's license address doesn't match the chosen country. I'm unable to change the country because I'm prompted to verify each time I log in, creating a loop. Is there a solution to rectify this, like correcting the country to the United States on my account? Thank you.

Coinbase's contact form is not functioning correctly, as there is no option available to leave a message. I took action last Saturday, on 12/05/20, to disable my account after experiencing unauthorized transactions where $[redacted] was taken from my XRP shares and converted to Bitcoin. Despite providing numerous updates and details regarding the incident, I am yet to receive any response nearly a week later. I initiated the re-verification process today but discovered that $[redacted] in my account cannot be traded until Dec. 11, which is tomorrow. I implore Coinbase to prevent the stolen funds from leaving their system. The lack of communication from the company is concerning. I need assurance of my account's safety before deciding to reactivate it. Your prompt attention to this matter is crucial.

I attempted to reset my account password on Coinbase. I am requesting for access to my account using either the old or new password since I possess both. I have been facing issues logging in for several weeks now. I would prefer to resolve this matter amicably and not resort to legal action. However, if necessary, I may consider taking legal steps such as filing for conversion and potentially fraud, which could result in punitive damages and fees. Kindly grant me access to my account to avoid any further escalation. - Doug Johnson / Elsie Johnson

I've been attempting to purchase USDC without success despite verifying my account with a driver's license. I've had this account for years with previous successful transactions until now. Suddenly, my account is blocked even though I haven't violated any rules. I urgently need to make a purchase as I've lost over $[redacted],[redacted] due to this issue. I'm incredibly dissatisfied with the lack of support in resolving this matter. Please assist me promptly. Thank you.

As a new customer, I encountered an issue while trying to link Coinbase with my Bank of the West checking account. Despite providing my bank details, the verification code sent by my bank did not arrive, leading to verification problems. I attempted to resolve this by accepting a 2-way transaction deposit of 19 cents from Coinbase, but the verification issue persists. Bank of the West suggested that the problem lies with Coinbase. I hope Coinbase can resolve this matter promptly so I can proceed with purchasing digital currency. Alternatively, I am considering making a deposit by check to Coinbase as an alternative solution.

I have had a Coinbase account for around three years. The issue I am facing is that the phone number associated with my account is no longer valid. When I attempt to reset my password, a 7-digit code is sent to the old number linked to my Coinbase account, which I no longer have access to. As a result, I am unable to log into my account. Could you assist me with this matter, or is my account irretrievable? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I had to disable my account by calling Coinbase's phone number. Now, when trying to reopen it following Coinbase's steps, the first one is to enter the 2FA authentication code. I don't have Google Authenticator and haven't received any SMS with the code. I've tried to reach out via email, but haven't received any response. I have open positions on the platform and can't do anything. I hope you can assist me.
