Hi Arac Glasgow, I wanted to share my recent experience with Coinbase. On May 7, [redacted], I attempted to purchase 0.[redacted] BTC, but the transaction was canceled. I was unable to proceed with the bitcoin halving process due to this issue. The lack of human assistance and resolution options on the platform have been frustrating. Verifying my information with Coinbase since [redacted] has been challenging and continues to be so. I urgently need the restrictions lifted from my account that have been in place for two days. Despite my bank confirming everything is in order, my transactions on the site keep getting canceled. This ordeal has been disappointing, and I am considering taking my business elsewhere. It's a missed opportunity that I would have liked to capitalize on.

I am a member of COIN BASE. On 5/5/[redacted], I opened an account and deposited $[redacted].00 using a linked bank account. Once the $[redacted].00 cleared, I purchased $[redacted].00 worth of BIT COIN. Following the purchase, I learned that withdrawals would not be possible until 5/18/[redacted]. In a panic, I locked my account and now I am struggling to unlock it. Despite following the email instructions, the issue remains unresolved. Contacting their phone line ([redacted]) was unhelpful as it only directed me back to their website. I urgently need to speak with a human representative to resolve this matter.

Since setting up Coinbase, I have only deposited $15 in increments of $5 three times. Unfortunately, I have encountered multiple issues with the platform. There was unauthorized activity on my bank account where someone transferred hundreds of dollars to Coinbase and attempted to withdraw the funds back to themselves. As a result, I had to close my checking account due to fraud. I am still receiving emails from the individual involved. Therefore, I am requesting the immediate closure of my Coinbase account. Please cease any further communication from Coinbase except to confirm the account closure. I no longer wish to be associated with Coinbase and do not want any future dealings with them.

I wanted to log into my Coinbase account, but when I tried, I received a message asking me to send $[redacted] in cryptocurrency to upgrade to Coinbase Pro. This seems suspicious to me, especially since I've been contacted via text multiple times about it. Despite trying to resolve the issue online, I keep getting the same request to send $[redacted]. I'm unsure if this is normal practice for Coinbase. Email from Coinbase: Hi Ted, Thank you for contacting Coinbase support. Our team assigned a specialist to handle your account upgrade request. To expedite the process and confirm ownership, we require a $[redacted] bitcoin deposit. This amount will be added to your account balance once the upgrade is complete. This measure is in place to ensure account security and prevent unauthorized access. Please send your deposit to - 36dB22PwsPiQVW68roESmyKVt9xeVTsJKd After completing the deposit, respond to this email with the case number [Reply] Case #[redacted]8 - Coinbase Pro upgrade cost. You can also contact our dedicated consultant, Frank Owens, for assistance. Your cooperation will help expedite the review of your case, and we kindly ask you to avoid creating duplicate cases to prevent delays. Thank you for your understanding. I received the email from you. How should I proceed with this matter? Coinbase, Dear Sir/Madam, Reference: RNBinance (a fraudulent company) Between May 21, [redacted], and October 22, [redacted], I was scammed by an online trading company involving CFDs, Forex, Crypto-currency - BTC, Binary Options. I made several transfers totaling 9,[redacted] USD (0.[redacted]7 BTC). I request a cancellation of the transactions and a refund. I would like to dispute these transactions and ask for the recall of the BTC transfer since I did not receive any services from the fraudulent company. According to the new amendments, digital currency exchanges must register with AUSTRAC and implement an AML/CTF program to prevent money laundering and verify customer identities. The financial institution is obligated under the Consumer Protection Act to prevent fraud and should not facilitate it. Any breach of contract or misrepresentation by the payee makes the financial institution liable. Attached are screenshots of other users who were also defrauded by RNBinance, demonstrating that it is a scam. I look forward to a response within the next seven days.

I used this email to register for an account. When I tried to verify it by clicking on the link in the confirmation email, I received an error message saying I already have an account. Now, whenever I try to access the website, I encounter errors or the page doesn't load. I am located in Egypt and suspect that the site may not be supported in my country. I'm confused about having an account that might not be supported. Please help me resolve this issue so I can access the site.

I am encountering difficulties accessing my Coinbase account on my new mobile phone. I recently switched phones and attempted to log in to the app for the first time with the new device. While my phone number remains the same, I am having trouble with the 2-factor authentication process. I have my 16-character security key from when I first created the account, which I entered successfully. However, I am unable to validate the new codes from the Google Authenticator app. The system keeps rejecting them as invalid. I suspect the issue may be related to my phone's clock being 3 to 4 minutes fast since I dropped it a few months ago. This time difference might be affecting the validation process. I have been updating my email contact from [redacted] to [redacted] and wish to change the email associated with my account to my newer address if possible. If changing the email is not an option, I will adapt, but I strongly prefer communication through my Gmail account. I am seeking alternative methods for authentication or any additional steps required to regain access to the app. I am eagerly awaiting your guidance. Thank you.

I am having trouble accessing my account. When I initially signed up, I used my daughter's cell phone since I didn't have one at the time. Now that I have my own cell phone, I attempted to update the verification method but somehow the account name changed from Carol Field to Roger Field. Roger Field is not involved in the account, he is just on the checking account with me. I am struggling to make these changes and it seems like I may have to give up on accessing my Bitcoin. Each time I try to log in, it becomes a frustrating experience. I received an email stating the account could be restricted if I don't provide the required ID information, a term I am not familiar with. At 78 years old, this is becoming overwhelming for me.

I recently fell victim to a scam orchestrated by an individual pretending to be from Coinbase and Amazon. The scammer manipulated me into transferring 1.[redacted]5 BTC ($15,[redacted].68 USD) to their account, with the email address associated being 1CJYcxeSoFv7do98XvaUqSs5qjxkL29F under the fake name Eric Lester. Contact number used was [redacted]. This individual coerced me into sending money to Cross River Bank, masquerading as Amazon's billing department. The initial contact came from a phishing email sent by "Amazon Support" regarding an unauthorized purchase. The email listed a phone number as 1-[redacted]. I need assistance in trying to reverse this transaction to prevent further harm. Thank you for any help you can provide.

On July 4th, when I tried to sell my Bitcoin for over $9,[redacted], the transaction seemed to disappear from my screen. I have been unable to reach customer support to inquire about the missing funds, as I also encountered difficulties accessing my account where I still hold Ethereum and Chainlink, particularly Etherium. Despite having screenshots of my account balance, I currently cannot log in to verify. I am seeking assistance to regain access to my account, understand the whereabouts of the sold Bitcoin funds, and locate my remaining holdings. This issue has been distressing, and I am keen to resolve it promptly for my financial stability. Thank you, Brenda A. Currey.

I recently received an email from Coinbase stating that my account has been restricted due to prohibited use. I haven't been active in trading for a while and now I'm unable to access my account. I'm unsure about the reason and have been unsuccessful in reaching a representative over the phone. Could someone please clarify why my account has been restricted and provide guidance on transferring my funds to my bank account? Additionally, it would be helpful to have a contact phone number to speak with someone directly. Thank you.

I attempted to transfer 5,[redacted] XLM from my Coinbase wallet to my Coinbase exchange using iPhone. After linking the accounts, I was redirected to Internet Explorer to log in. I proceeded with the transaction, seeing a message saying "complete" under the remaining XLM balance on the Coinbase wallet app. The transfer amount was 5,[redacted] XLM valued at $[redacted].40 at that time. A long alphanumeric string, possibly a Hash, appeared at the top. I tried to view the transaction on Stellar Explorer but ended up on a configuration screen, so I closed it. However, the transfer hasn't gone through, and I can't locate my coins, with no pending status shown. Feeling lost and unsure, I temporarily locked my Coinbase account. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Rod.

Hello, I've been interested in participating in the Coinbase Earn program for a while. However, I've encountered an issue with verifying my account. Each time I attempt to verify through the link provided in the Coinbase Earn program, I receive the same error indicating that verification is not possible. I have made multiple attempts to reach out to Coinbase for assistance, but unfortunately, I have not received any response from their team. ------------------------------------------------------------- Let's try again We were unable to verify your identity. ⚠️ Please make sure to do the following. You must use your full legal name as it appears on your government-issued ID. Do not use a PO Box or business address. Double-check your social security number to ensure it is entered correctly. -------------------------------------- The message above is the recurring notification I receive whenever I try to verify my account. This issue has persisted for several months, and I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this matter and find a resolution. Best regards, Dennis S. (Netherlands)

I recently upgraded my iPhone and unfortunately lost access to my Google Authenticator app. I am able to log in using my email, password, and receive verification codes on my new phone. I also possess the original key used during account creation. Although I have a MacPro and use Safari, I am encountering difficulties uploading my license. Additionally, the camera function is not able to capture a clear image of my driver's license. I have provided my SSN and downloaded my [redacted] tax documents. Despite attempting verification since 27 July, I have only received automated responses promising follow-up from an agent. Strangely, the same license used to create my Coinbase account in [redacted] is not being accepted for verification now. I kindly request a prompt resolution to this matter so I can continue trading. Upgrading phones should not hinder access to funds; I hope to access my cryptocurrency as I would other financial accounts post-upgrade. Thank you, John R.

I was trying to reach a customer service representative but only had the option to press one on the phone menu. Selecting option one for login issues led to my account getting locked. Despite completing the verification process, I still cannot access my account with a significant amount of funds. Numerous emails resulted in four separate customer support tickets. Unauthorized withdrawals from my checking account prompted me to seek assistance. The situation has escalated to involve my bank, jeopardizing the profits I had accrued. Dealing with Coinbase has been frustrating and disappointing.

I am based in the UK. Approximately a week ago, my bank declined my purchase of Bitcoin by blocking my bank/VISA card. After contacting the bank, they unblocked the card. Upon reattempting the transaction, Coinbase locked my account. I reached out via email, completed the photo ID verification again, and received an email stating the issue was resolved. However, it persists in the "re-adding" of card details. Despite success messages on the online form, I keep receiving notifications that my bank has blocked the card. The bank confirmed no record of the attempted transactions, shifting the blame to the Coinbase website. I am frustrated with the unhelpful responses from help.coinbase.com. Can someone assist me, please?

I signed up with Coinbase in December [redacted]. I mistakenly deposited funds twice instead of once into my account. When I realized my error, I attempted to contact Coinbase but couldn't reach them, so I stopped one of the payments to avoid overdraft fees. I never utilized the funds from the second deposit. After receiving an email, I communicated with Coinbase about the situation. Following a discussion, they informed me I could no longer trade with them. I am curious if there will ever be an opportunity for me to trade with them again. It has been seven months since I withdrew my funds, and I hope to be reconsidered for trading access. My account and ID verification are still valid. I have not found a better alternative to Coinbase. Thank you.

I have been trying for over a month to withdraw my initial portfolio of [redacted] euros, but to do so, they asked me for a deposit of [redacted] euros, bringing the total to [redacted]. Then, another deposit of [redacted] euros (they say 35% of the previous amount), bringing us to [redacted]. Next, the deposit of [redacted] euros for a tax fund with a [redacted] euro tax payment, stating that everything was in order with Cysec's verification. Now, with the portfolio at [redacted] euros (minus [redacted] for taxes), they are requesting an additional deposit of [redacted] before transferring it to my bank. When we reached [redacted] euros, a certain Mr. Taylor Breneman from Cysec certified that everything was in order, and I could get my sum back after paying taxes. Now, to authorize the transfer via Coinbase, they are asking for a [redacted] euro deposit. I demand that the sum of [redacted] be transferred to me, followed by the remaining [redacted] euros minus the taxes. Please help, or should I inform someone who can assist me? I do not want to tarnish your reputation by informing the press, legal authorities, web, consumer protection associations, or others. Let's resolve this amicably by transferring me [redacted] euros, as Mr. Simone Schwarz from Coinbase Italy had assured me.

During the pandemic, my identification expired. Texas Department of Public Safety was closed, but I managed to secure an appointment for October 27, [redacted]. I want to ensure that I don't miss out on investing in cryptocurrency. I have my expired identification, a selfie, and the appointment letter from the Texas Department of Public Safety. Can these documents assist me in passing level three security verification? How should I proceed with this situation? Thank you for your assistance.

I originally opened my Coinbase account with my Canadian driver's license, even though I live in NY State. Purchases went smoothly until I was told my ID couldn't be verified as it was from another country. I then tried my US passport, but that didn't work either. After some back and forth, I was notified that I'm no longer eligible to use Coinbase. Despite uploading my state ID, phone number, and personal info, my buying/selling functions remain disabled. I've been trying to reach Coinbase for weeks with no luck, and can't get through on the phone. I feel frustrated and discriminated against without knowing the exact reason. I just want clarity and resolution. Thank you for any help.
