I made a successful transaction one day, but the next day after depositing $[redacted], when trying to link my Coinbase wallet to my account, the balance showed $0. I clicked on the fraud link for assistance, then my account was locked without notice. Even after proving my identity and no fraud, my account remains locked. Contacting support by phone led to a dead end with only a bot responding. Despite providing multiple ID photos, there's been no progress. Concerns about weak support and security arise due to the sensitive information requested. Many others on r/bitcoin share similar frustrating experiences with Coinbase. Waiting for over a month for account restoration is unacceptable. The current state of Coinbase has left me disillusioned with their service and reliability. The frustration with the lack of human support is clear, and I'm considering leaving Coinbase altogether due to these ongoing issues.

I previously owned a small amount of bitcoin that I bought when the price was around [redacted] BTC. Recently, I sold some of my other coins on Coinbase for USD, totaling approximately $[redacted]. When I tried to use this USD to purchase BTC at the price of [redacted] BTC using my Coinbase wallet, it unexpectedly withdrew $[redacted] from my bank account instead. I attempted to buy $[redacted] worth of BTC again, hoping to use the funds from my Coinbase wallet this time, but once more it debited from my bank account. This caused my bank account to go over -$[redacted]. After reaching out to my bank, they assured me they would reverse the charges, so I made sure there were two $[redacted] deposits in my USD Coinbase wallet for them to utilize. However, instead of using those funds, Coinbase sold all my cryptocurrencies, disabled my linked bank accounts, and locked my account. This situation is frustrating as I am unable to capitalize on the rising value of BTC, and I cannot relink my bank account or transfer funds to Coinbase Pro. I have tried contacting support through multiple tickets but have not received any assistance. I am looking for help and would appreciate a phone call at 1-[redacted] to address this compromised account issue.

I am experiencing difficulties verifying my domicile despite submitting various documents scanned from different devices but keep receiving negative responses. I have tried multiple avenues for assistance but with no success. In contrast, when dealing with Gemini.com, submitting an email with attachments led to swift verification by a human. I possess a variety of official documents like bank statements, utility bills, tax receipts, and identification cards that can verify my identity. I am from Malta, EU, and currently residing there. My advisors in Baltimore and Florida recommend utilizing your services along with Bittrex. While I am persistent, weeks of unsuccessful attempts are becoming discouraging.

Hello, I recently experienced issues with my Coinbase account where my buying and selling capabilities were disabled due to recurring payment problems with my Chase account. These issues have now been resolved, and I have added a new bank account to facilitate transactions. Despite being advised by Coinbase to sell off my coins, I have been a loyal user for approximately three years without any prior problems. I firmly believe Coinbase is the ideal platform, particularly for beginners. I kindly request a reconsideration of my account status so that I can resume using your platform. Thank you.

Good day, this is my third attempt to resolve an issue. On February 18th, I attempted to send 6.7 ETH to a private wallet but received an error message saying, "Whoops, something went wrong." The ETH disappeared from my account but did not reach the private wallet. There is no transaction history on Coinbase for the 6.7 ETH. I will email a PDF with screenshots for reference. Using etherscan.io, it's evident the ETH did not leave my wallet. This lack of transparency is concerning since blockchain technology should track all transactions accurately. I have sold all my Ethereum coins except the 6.7 on Coinbase Pro due to this glitch. Case #[redacted]4 was marked as "resolved," while I await a response for Case #[redacted]1. Your assistance is appreciated.

My issue remains unresolved despite multiple attempts to explain it clearly. It feels like my messages aren't being read thoroughly, leading to repetitive responses that don't address the core problem. I've invested money in Coinbase and am encountering difficulties verifying my ID without a national US identification, as I possess a Portuguese passport and ITN for tax purposes. I'm temporarily staying in the US but will return to Portugal in a few months. Is there a way to verify my account without a US ID or change my country designation? If not, can I receive a refund to my linked bank account due to the verification constraints preventing me from using the funds for transactions? Your assistance in understanding and resolving this unique situation is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Best regards, F.P. [redacted]

I have been attempting to access my account since March 15th. After making significant purchases, I was unexpectedly logged out. Despite three weeks of trying, I am still unable to regain access. I have not been successful reaching customer service via phone, email, or ID verification. Unfortunately, my sim card was compromised, preventing me from receiving SMS verification codes. I suspect an organized hacking group has linked my phone number to multiple cloud storages and APIs. I alerted Coinbase when unauthorized transactions began. However, I have not received any response. Upon calling, I only reach an option for compromised accounts. I hope that Coinbase's insurance will cover this situation, as I have always followed procedures and have been a loyal customer for nearly four years, notwithstanding some account history being lost during an email switch three months ago. I have introduced approximately 20 people to your services just before the downturn in January [redacted]. I have successfully contacted customer service via phone in the past. I am eager for a prompt and detailed response. Thank you. Warm regards, J.N. Gustavsen.

Around three to four weeks ago, we tried to buy more alt coins, but our checking account didn't have sufficient funds, causing the transaction to fail. As a result, our bank blocked our account, preventing us from accessing it to view or purchase more cryptocurrency. We are seeking assistance to guide us in restoring our account to its regular status.

I urgently need to speak with a live representative to regain access to my account as I lost my security keys. Customer support has ceased communication with me, and it's crucial that I access MY funds promptly. Initially, I encountered difficulty with one of the account recovery steps, which led to the support team halting their email responses. Although I managed to successfully verify my identity, they remain unresponsive despite my completion of all the required account recovery steps.

Coinbase has locked me out of my account. I called their number seeking assistance but pressing the only available option resulted in my account being locked by Coinbase. I find their authentication process unnecessarily complicated and inconvenient. I intend to transfer my coins and close my account as I am concerned about the security of my account due to Coinbase's practices. I would like to speak directly with someone to resolve this matter promptly. This experience is unacceptable to me, and I urgently request to be contacted for a resolution. Sincerely, M. McDuffee

Hello, On April 24, I completed two transfers of €2,[redacted] to your bank, AS LVH Pank. The first transfer at 10:21 am was sent without the reference number: CBAEURRCLKSRNX. I have tried to cancel this transfer due to my mistake, but the bank requires 7 days to confirm. Can you please check if this transfer exists and deposit it into my COINBASE account? My details are as follows: Name - Isabelle Gacon, Account - [redacted] I also made another transfer at 11:52 am with the correct reference number. This transfer should be processed as usual. I apologize for my error, as I am new to this process, especially using N26 as an intermediary for transfers. Thank you for your understanding. Isabelle Gacon

Coinbase customers have reported concerning experiences with the platform. Allegations include unauthorized withdrawals and difficulties reaching customer service while encountering errors when logging in. Reports suggest transactions are limited to under $[redacted], despite being able to deposit any amount. Communication with Coinbase only results in generic responses, with no meaningful follow-up. There are claims of attempted hackings and unauthorized withdrawals of small amounts from linked bank accounts. Despite claims of having a US Department of Justice lawyer on board, the situation seems to have worsened. Customers are advised caution as the reported losses amount to millions of dollars. The lack of efficient customer support has caused frustration within the user community.

On 04/11/[redacted], I received an email from a 28-year-old woman who wanted to have a love affair on webcam. I accepted, but it turned out to be a hacker who filmed me. They threatened to distribute the video to falsely accuse me of inappropriate behavior with an 11-year-old. The hacker coerced me into registering on Coinbase and obtaining my banking details, identity, and card information. Unauthorized transactions were made on my account from 04/11 to 04/17/[redacted], totaling €[redacted] in a cryptocurrency I am unfamiliar with. I wish to close my Coinbase account and obtain the transaction history on my smartphone for tax purposes. Writing in English is challenging for me as a French speaker, but I have previously provided all necessary details. Kindly assist me in deleting the account. I have also sent a letter in English through your platform. Thank you for your cooperation.

After making my initial deposit and using Coinbase for a few days, I was shocked to discover fraudulent withdrawals from my bank account. Despite reaching out multiple times through their contact page, I only received automated responses. Eventually, I was locked out of my account with no explanation. To my dismay, a significant amount was taken from my account without my consent. Despite sending numerous emails, I have yet to hear from an actual person at Coinbase. With no phone support available, I am frustrated with the lack of customer service. I plan to reverse the transactions due to these unauthorized activities.

I am having trouble logging into my account using Firefox, my regular browser. Instead of the usual login page, I see a suspicious message that mentions "temporary" and advises not to worry. I reported this issue through the website but still couldn't access my account. When I attempted to log in using Microsoft Edge, it strangely prefilled a Yahoo email address and password I didn't recognize nor have used with your service before. I suspect my account has been compromised and require urgent assistance to address this security breach. I tried contacting customer support from all my phone numbers but was instructed to call back from a number associated with my account. My main concern is the safety of my funds, especially with the recent increase in cryptocurrency values. I am unable to even reach the point of entering my correct password or contact you directly. Your prompt resolution of this matter would be greatly appreciated. Best wishes, R. M.

Hello, my name is Mark R. Smith. I haven't accessed my account in over two years and am concerned about my balance and cryptocurrencies. Initially, I bought a smartphone to purchase Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash, as required. However, I rarely use my smartphone but prefer my landline. I had trouble accessing my account due to forgetting my smartphone number for identity verification. Although I have been unwell, I located my number: [redacted]. I've tried calling but have not been able to reach an agent. I need access to manage my cryptocurrency investments and potentially leave them for my children. Unfortunately, I can't access my coins as I'm locked out. I've experienced challenges since your site changes disrupted my account. Please assist me in regaining access without reliance on my smartphone. Kindly contact me via email at [redacted] Your prompt attention is appreciated. Sincerely, Mark R. Smith.

I recently encountered an issue with my account where my password was changed without my authorization. This led to my account being locked until I could regain access. Unfortunately, my SIM ID did not work and I did not receive the notifications that were supposedly sent to me. Additionally, my Google Authentication was also not functioning. Despite attempting to upload my ID again to verify my identity, the process failed. Even using the webcam verification option resulted in an instant "Failed" message. I believe this is the only way to regain access to my account, but Coinbase has not been responsive to my concerns. It's been frustrating, and I'm hoping for assistance from them to resolve this situation. Thank you.

I accidentally locked myself out of my Coinbase account. I called customer support, pressed the wrong button, and now I can't buy or sell. I initially called because I had attempted to purchase USDC, which was deducted from my bank account but didn't reflect in my Coinbase. I suspect I exceeded my weekly limit and planned to inquire about increasing it. Unfortunately, I mistakenly reported my phone as stolen, leading to my account lockout. I have since re-verified my account, regained access, but still unable to transact or view the funds I deposited.

Hello, I reached out regarding moving my coins from Coinbase to another Wallet but encountered an issue of insufficient funds for transfer. Upon calling, selecting option 1 led to a reset of my account access, requesting additional verification. I need assistance in accessing my account, locating my funds, and guidance on transferring, trading, or using them. Previously, I had purchase limits that have now been removed, and I seek clarification on this change and a reinstatement of limits. Furthermore, I am looking for the opportunity to speak with a representative to address these concerns. Thank you. - Morton B. Edmonds

For the past two weeks, I have been attempting to complete the verification process. My license is clear and readable, but I am in need of hands-on support. I have been a loyal client of Coinbase since [redacted]. I have concerns that my account might have been compromised; therefore, I changed my password. However, I am facing difficulties with Coinbase accepting my current license. My license displays my current address, which differs from the one I had when I originally joined Coinbase in [redacted]. Everything else remains the same. I am in desperate need of assistance with this matter, as I have exhausted all options! Please reach out to me at [redacted]. Kindly refrain from sending generic tips as they have not been helpful to me. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Valerie
