Dear representative, I recently had to settle the water bill balance for my tenant, Richard Nixon, at [redacted] Chelsea Circle, Palm Desert, CA [redacted], including a $[redacted] reconnection fee due to an outstanding balance over $[redacted]. Despite selecting the option to prohibit the tenant from opening the account on July 16, [redacted], somehow the account was opened, leaving me unaware of the bill amount and ultimately responsible for payment. The added $[redacted] reconnection fee seems excessive. Is this standard practice or a result of monopolistic practices? I reside away from the desert during the summer and was alarmed by the water disconnection, endangering the life of my new tenant. Kindly reach out to me regarding this matter at [redacted].
