My Galaxy S* phone was stolen in San Andres Colombia. I walked into a claro office and purchased a new Galaxy S* phone after asking many times and being reassured that my phone would work once I got back to America with my American cell phone SIM card. This did not turn out to be true. Apparently there is a VPN issue that will not allow me to use roaming anywhere where my service normally allows roaming. For instance, right now, I am in Tulum Mexico where roaming is included in my package with Cricket my cell phone provider. However, it has not worked at all here. I have no service. I took my phone to local technicians who said it is not going to be able to be used to roam anywhere based on its VPN configuration. I am trying to reach claro to ask them to take this phone back because it does not meet the requirements I set forth before purchasing. I have not been able to find a single phone number that gets me to a human being. Can you help?
