I want to express our continued support for the Reds as loyal Hall of Fame members and Reds Heads attendees, having had only positive experiences over the years. However, during our recent visit to two games, we encountered two issues that left us disappointed. Firstly, at the batting practice experience, a security guard tried to give balls hit into the grass to our children, but was stopped by a staff member before doing so, which felt like a missed opportunity for the kids. Secondly, when my daughter received a Funko Pop with a damaged box, she politely requested a replacement only to be met with an unhelpful response from a staff member. The way the situation was handled seemed unprofessional towards my daughter. We hope that in the future, better communication and customer service can be provided, ensuring all fans have a positive experience at games and events.

I wanted to share my recent experience at the Cincinnati Reds vs. San Diego Padres game. My husband and I are long-time Padres fans and rarely miss a game when they play in Cincinnati. Unfortunately, some of the Reds fans sitting near us were quite disruptive during the game. Despite the popcorn being thrown in my direction, the constant chatter from a nearby fan, and the rowdy behavior two rows back, I still managed to enjoy the game as the Padres secured a win. I appreciate the passion of fans, but believe that respect should always be maintained in the stadium. I am looking forward to attending the upcoming games with a hopeful expectation for a better experience. Thank you.

On August 8th, [redacted], my husband and I attended a Reds game to honor Joe Morgan. We have been fans since the Big Red Machine era. Despite enjoying the game from our Club Seats, our experience soured upon leaving the ballpark due to an incident with a gatekeeper. As we tried to exit through the gate closest to the bridge leading to the parking garage, the gatekeeper was rude and showed no concern for a near-medical emergency I was experiencing. Despite my difficulty with stairs, he was unreasonably harsh when we tried to re-enter. Thankfully, the nearby medics intervened after witnessing the situation and allowed me to rest in their office. As a nurse manager at The Christ Hospital, I was appalled by the lack of empathy displayed. The gate in question is near the scoreboard, and the medic office is located on the right side after re-entering. This situation demands attention to prevent others from facing similar treatment. Your assistance in identifying and addressing this individual would be greatly appreciated. Please update me on the outcome of your investigation. Thank you, Patricia Dennler.

I am frustrated with the current TV announcers for the Reds. Their constant off-topic discussions and personal anecdotes during the game detract from the baseball experience. Instead of focusing on the game, they veer into irrelevant topics like players' appearances or their personal lives. I find it distracting and unnecessary. One recent incident involved a lengthy interview with a player's grandmother during the game, which was boring and inappropriate. I believe the announcers should stick to baseball-related commentary and enhance the viewing experience for fans. If the Cincinnati Reds do not address this issue, they risk losing viewers who value a more traditional and focused broadcasting approach. I suggest bringing back George Grande or empowering the video booth director to silence announcers who deviate from game coverage. Fans deserve better and should consider raising these concerns through social media to the team owners and sponsors. It's essential for the announcers to fulfill their role of providing quality game commentary, or else they should be replaced with more suitable professionals who prioritize the sport. Let's keep the focus on baseball and ensure an enjoyable viewing experience for all fans.
