Dear Customer Service, I am writing to share my recent experience with my [redacted] Ram/Promaster/[redacted] at Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Seattle located at [redacted] Aurora Ave. N. Seattle WA. [redacted]. I noticed a boiling sound and coolant smell coming from my truck. Upon inspection, I saw the coolant reservoir bubbling and leaking. Despite replacing the radiator and cap as recommended by the service advisor, the issue persisted. During my visit, Justin Reynolds, a service advisor, informed me that using the wrong coolant voided the warranty on the engine. However, I believe the engine failure was already present and not caused by the coolant. The warranty should cover such issues. Despite being advised to replace additional components at my cost, I feel that the initial repairs were not accurate. My customer number from my last visit is [redacted]. I would appreciate a thorough review of my case to reconsider the previous repair decisions. Thank you for your attention and assistance. Sincerely, Ma

I recently took my [redacted] Chrysler 300S to the local dealer for an oil change and safety recalls. After the service, I noticed a decrease in the air blowing from the A/C. When I inquired about bringing it back, I was told there would be a fee. Unable to pay at the time, I left it. Since then, the A/C has gotten worse, and now it doesn't blow cold air at all. Living in South Florida and driving often with my three children, this is a significant issue. I had a trusted mechanic look at it, and they noted that the specific coolant needed is costly and only available at the dealership for a $[redacted] repair. Upon inspection, it seems the coolant seal was tampered with. When addressing this with the service manager, Ricky, I was met with rudeness and irrelevant arguments. I am seeking a resolution to this frustrating situation.

On September 9, [redacted], in Yuba City, California, my [redacted] Chrysler 300S experienced starting issues with an onboard screen displaying a problem with the shifter rotor. I contacted Chrysler via Uconnect for roadside assistance regarding the shifter rotor recall. An appointment for rotor replacement was set at John D Sullivan Chrysler Dodge the next morning at 8am, and a tow truck was sent. The tow truck jump-started the vehicle, enabling me to drive home and store the car until the next day's appointment. While driving the vehicle at the speed limit around a sharp curve, it suddenly accelerated, causing a collision with a parked car. I am reaching out to Chrysler for assistance regarding this incident.

I took my disabled wife's vehicle to the dealership 28 days after the warranty expired. Michelle initially denied claims that should have been covered and then attempted to justify a $[redacted] "deductible." The situation unfolded after the dealership called me at 7:20 AM, informing me that they would cover two out of three issues with the vehicle, which I gladly accepted. However, hours later, the service adviser called back stating I would need to pay the $[redacted] deductible. Despite multiple requests for a supervisor's name, I was only directed back to Michelle and some others.

The Chrysler dealership in Cheshire, MA had our vehicle for extended periods twice but failed to diagnose the issue causing it to stall. Despite the inability of their mechanics and others to find the problem, they still sent us a letter about charges for having the van in their lot, wrongly assuming it was there. When picking up the van, they left the engine cover inside, which led to an accident where my non-verbal autistic 14-year-old was hurt. This situation is causing financial strain, with over $[redacted] spent on alternative transportation. With our loan ending in December, we own the van and can't commit to a new one now. A solution is urgently needed to address the ongoing problems with the vehicle stalling unpredictably.

We purchased multiple Chrysler vehicles, including my daughter's [redacted] Town and Country under a certified pre-owned [redacted],[redacted]-mile powertrain limited warranty. Despite the car not starting and needing a jump multiple times, the battery was ruled out as the issue. Further investigation revealed that the alternator was draining the battery, which shockingly isn't covered by the warranty. With only 86,[redacted] miles on the vehicle, we're now left with the expense of replacing both the battery and the alternator. It's frustrating to have to deal with alternator issues on a vehicle with less than [redacted],[redacted] miles. This situation is not unique, as I've had problems with my PT Cruiser and Jeep Liberty in the past. Each time it feels like our vehicles just fall short of the warranty coverage. I kindly request reimbursement for the alternator since we already have to bear the cost of the battery. I hope we can come to a resolution soon. Thank you. Tina M.

I am experiencing a problem with a Uconnect specialist named Kym. Her phone number is [redacted] ext. [redacted]. Case number [redacted]9. I visited Gandrud Chrysler in Green Bay, WI, and they were unable to update the Uconnect system. I received a mailing with a memory stick that was also unsuccessful. The Uconnect specialist assured me she would contact the dealer and provide instructions for the update, but unfortunately, they did not receive the necessary assistance to complete the installation correctly.

Hello, I am a proud owner of a [redacted] Chrysler [redacted]. Approximately a month ago, my car began to stall unexpectedly. Despite visiting two Chrysler dealerships, they were unable to identify the issue or show concern for the seriousness of the problem. I discovered online that many other [redacted] to [redacted] Chrysler vehicles were experiencing the same stalling issue due to a computer software glitch. The dealerships seemed unaware of this common problem, suggesting a software reset or, if that fails, new software installation. Disappointed by the lack of assistance, I reached out to Chrysler Corporate, but they were uncooperative. Unsure of my next steps, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I purchased a pre-owned [redacted] Jeep Cherokee (VIN: 1C4PJMCS6FW559154) with an extended warranty from Fred Bean dealerships in Doylestown, PA on 11/21/18. Despite being informed that the Start-Stop system would be fixed upon purchase, it remains malfunctioning. I have made multiple visits to the dealership to address this issue along with other concerns, but the problem persists. Most recently, the dealership attempted to resolve the problem by charging the battery instead of replacing it, citing cost concerns. This temporary fix did not work, and now, even though I brought the car in for a different issue, they want to charge me $[redacted] for the start-stop battery service. I am unable to conveniently reach the dealership due to living far away and frequent travel. I need guidance on how to escalate this matter and have the system fixed without incurring additional costs. Thank you. - Ken A.

My [redacted] Jeep Patriot has been at the shop in Alamogordo for over 30 days, and they're struggling to get the assembly installed according to the Jeep dealership agent. I was promised a call today, but I'm starting to question their technicians' training. They've already ordered two assemblies, and I'm frustrated as I urgently need my car fixed. This experience has made me vow to never purchase another Jeep. Contacting them has been challenging; I apologize this message isn't personal, just expressing my disappointment in their service. It's concerning to hear that they are having trouble with the wires. I am eagerly awaiting a phone call. - Joann F.

I am a proud owner of a [redacted] Dodge Nitro with a lifetime guarantee. Since relocating to Florida from Michigan, I encountered an issue with my wheel bearings. Cape Coral Dodge requested a $[redacted].00 deductible for the repair but also asked for a $3,[redacted].00 agreement if additional parts were affected by rust. Unwilling to sign a potentially unnecessary commitment, I chose to pay $[redacted].99 for the inspection and took my vehicle elsewhere for the repair. The alternative repair shop charged me $[redacted].30, plus $[redacted].27 for parts, without making any unreasonable agreements. I have been loyal to Chrysler but this experience has left me disappointed. I believe I should be refunded $[redacted].24 for the expenses incurred. I have all the receipts as proof of these costs. It is disheartening to feel unsupported after investing in the warranty specifically for situations like this. Thank you, T. F.

My [redacted] Dodge Journey has recently stopped while I was driving, which happened twice. During this, the steering wheel and brake pedal lock up, making them unusable. I have to come to a stop to put the car in Park and attempt to restart it. This occurred most recently when my 12-year-old son was with me, nearly causing us to swerve off the road. The dashboard shows no codes, remains the same, and the AC keeps running. The service team at Safford Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Salisbury could not replicate the issue or find a solution. They advised me to contact Chrysler Customer Care at [redacted] for further help. After speaking with Ada and her supervisor Mike, no resolution was reached. Many Dodge Journey owners have experienced similar issues, with some accidents reportedly related to this problem. A recall was issued for certain [redacted] models due to faulty sensors. If this could address my car's safety concern, I request the same fix for mine.

I hear a creaking noise in my steering column when I make turns. I previously tried to address this issue with Addy's, but I didn't get a satisfactory response. After reaching out to Addy's Harbor Dodge Chrysler, I faced a lack of understanding from a staff member. However, when I spoke with the RAM specialist, I felt assured that my concern will be resolved. Thank you, Chrysler/Dodge, for the positive interaction.

On June 12, [redacted], I made a payment of $3,[redacted].50 for a new hard top for my [redacted] Wrangler Unlimited, with order number [redacted]2. Despite reaching out to Jeep Customer Care multiple times, I have only received emails stating "no changes in ETA" without any indication of when the part will arrive at the dealership. Now, after waiting for four months without a clear delivery date, I am considering cancelling my order and exploring aftermarket options. I understand the challenges posed by COVID-19 but believe that customers should not be left indefinitely waiting for parts when alternatives are available in weeks. The current soft top is causing issues such as leaks and excessive noise inside the vehicle. I hope for a prompt and concrete response to address this situation. Thank you for your attention.

On September 12, while travelling on an interstate in North Carolina, I was in an accident due to brake failure. I rear-ended a semi-truck in bumper-to-bumper traffic at about 20 miles per hour around 4 pm on a clear day. Despite noticing the slowing semi ahead, my brakes did not stop the vehicle. A mechanic inspected my [redacted] Dodge Ram [redacted], and found that the collision was caused by a faulty secured brake line connected to the brake booster, resulting in a loss of brake pressure. This issue was not my fault and could have been fatal. I feel the technician who inspected the vehicle focused more on the event scan rather than the brake problem. It's essential that such critical failures be thoroughly addressed to prevent further accidents or potential fatalities.

Subject: Urgent Need for Proper Repairs on My Car To whom it may concern, I am writing to address a serious issue with the recent service provided to my [redacted] Chrysler Concorde 3.5 LXI at Southern Chrysler Jeep in Chesapeake, Virginia. Despite my clear requests and the importance of properly maintaining my vehicle, the necessary repairs were not completed to my satisfaction. Since the last service on August 4, [redacted], my car has only been driven 9,[redacted] miles. I am well acquainted with my vehicle's condition and the specific maintenance it requires, including the replacement of the Timing Belt, which was neglected during the last visit. I rely on my car for transportation due to my disability, and the oversight in servicing it has been a significant inconvenience. It is crucial that the necessary repairs are carried out promptly and effectively to ensure the safety and functionality of my vehicle. I kindly ask for immediate attention to this matter and appropriate action to rectify the situation. Your assistance in resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Sincerely, Ms. T. Taylor

Looking to purchase a [redacted] Ram Laramie GT Sport and I found them at Jeff Belzer Ram dealership in Lakeville, Minnesota. They are refusing to work with me because I live in Florida. I'm wondering if this is Chrysler's policy. I am a loyal customer with a history of owning their cars and trucks. The dealers in Florida are not familiar with the GT model. Why does Jeff Belzer seem to be the only dealership with the GT models available? I am searching for a dealership that carries these trucks and is willing to sell me one. Appreciate your help. - Russell S.

Good Afternoon, On Friday, 2/18/22, around 2 PM, I enquired about stock number 213032A at Route 46 Chrysler Jeep Dodge through the chat feature on your website. I was assured the vehicle was in stock. I shared my details and requested confirmation that the vehicle was smoke-free, asking for a call after 4 PM. However, I was contacted at 3 PM during a client appointment and asked to be called at 4 PM. Instead, I received a text at 4:50 PM. I asked for the window sticker and a worksheet showing the $[redacted] coupon, 5.5% interest rate, and $5,[redacted] down payment to be emailed. Unfortunately, I only received a response the next morning, explaining the coupon terms. Despite multiple attempts on Saturday, I was unable to speak to a manager or receive a call back. Eager to finalize the deal due to my partner's recent surgery, I kindly requested a call today. Respectfully, Lucinda S.

I am curious to know why Dodge is discontinuing its most popular cars, the Challenger and the Charger. My family traded in our [redacted] Dodge Challenger for a truck, but we miss the V6 engine that got great gas mileage of 38-41 mpg. Not everyone is ready or can afford an EV, and where would we all charge them? Electricity comes from natural gas and coal, and renewable sources like wind and solar may not be enough. Also, I heard that Hunter Biden sold a component for electric cars to China. Many products are made from petroleum, like phones, computers, plastics, and tires that EVs still require. Please reconsider and keep making the Challenger, especially with its 40mpg. With petroleum resources and potential future policies, more Challengers can be sold. Looking forward to President Trump's return and energy independence in the USA. Sincerely, L.B.

I bought a [redacted] Dodge Caravan and had noise issues from the start. The first dealership didn't fix anything despite diagnosing it. Frustrated, I went to another dealership with no luck. They did catch some maintenance needs the first place missed. After the van had to be towed in, the transmission was found torn apart due to a dirty filter, which was replaced. Shortly after, it broke down again, and I had to pay for a rental while waiting for approval for the repairs under my 100k warranty. Communication has been poor, with staff changes and delays. The Chrysler warranty has the needed photos, and the dealership is working on the van. I'm still stuck paying for the rental in the meantime.
