We took family members to the Idaho Falls' Chilis March **. There were * of us. At the end of the visit our waitress encouraged us to give her and the restaurant a good review on the checkout machine at our table. We were using a number of gift cards so she said it would be easier for us if she helped with it all. We gave the experience a very good review even though there were some issues because we felt pressured to say it was all perfect. *These are some we can remember. No silverware for one of us for some time even though she knew she was short, no napkins until late, some side dishes wrong, extra dressing too late....*The rest of the time we were happy. *The machine for checking out wasn't printing receipts out right as we swiped our cards and nothing was printed so we didn't get the final until we were done and leaving from our server. When we looked over the receipt the next day we found she had charged us $*.** for chips and salsa that we had shown her we had a card for a free order when we asked for them. At the t oil me of ordering, she acknowledged it was to be free and openly brought us an extra basket.*We feel our kindness and accepting her help checking out, etc was taken advantage of and are upset for the extra charge. We also didn't see the fish in the drink of the child's menu cost ** cents more for each drink and feel the printing of the extra cost for * little pieces of candy is well concealed in the printing of the menu. *I find this all has left a really bad taste in my mouth about deception on Chili's part and doesn't make me want to go there again.*We live in Ohio and soon left Idaho and our family there or I would ask the restaurant for a refund. *You ask what I want done but I'm not sure what to say to that except how would you feel if this were you? What would restore your faith in going to Chili's again? We spent almost $***. and tipped our server **% and the tipping process was another issue to lengthy to write here on my phone. I would've much rather talked to someone live! *As I try to find a customer number on the receipt I see she entered us as * guests, too, but there were * of us our receipt shows * meals. *The visit receipt was at *:** p.m. and has the number ***** under the time. Our bill was for$***.**.
