I would like to inform you that I did not receive the Friday, May 7th edition of the Chicago Tribune. I was away from home and upon my return, I noticed the Friday paper was not delivered to my driveway or front lawn. Although I accessed the digital version online, I prefer the physical copy. I understand that receiving yesterday's newspaper now is not possible. Can you please explain the process when a credit is issued? I am unsure if a subscription renewal discount applies after missed deliveries. How are these missed publications accounted for? I request the Friday, May 7th edition to be credited to my account. I appreciate your clarification on the credit policy. Thank you. -R. Samusevich [redacted] N. Center St. Crest Hill, IL [redacted]

I placed a vacation hold on our delivery, informed it could only be held until 12/31/20. In December, we canceled the subscription. Despite no deliveries due to the hold, we were charged and paid for December deliveries. After canceling in December '20, we were charged for deliveries. In March '21, we instructed to stop charges as no deliveries were being made to our unoccupied residence. Nonetheless, a few months later, another charge was debited with American Express on auto-pay. In June '21, we reiterated our cancellation, emphasizing that no papers were being received at our condo. Unfortunately, the billing persisted, leading us to claim a full refund through American Express. Subsequently, the account was sent to collections. We request the immediate rectification of this erroneous billing, removal of any collection activity, and resolution of the balance to zero. This six-month ordeal has been unique as we successfully canceled two other subscriptions without issue. We urge prompt corrective action to address this matter.

I have been experiencing inconsistent Sunday deliveries since 11-14-21 and am frustrated by the ongoing problem. Despite contacting customer service multiple times, the issue remains unresolved. My Sundays revolve around reading the newspaper, and the sporadic deliveries have been disappointing. Here is a timeline of my interactions: - 11-14: No paper, assured it would still be delivered. - 11-15: Still no paper, promised delivery later that day. - 11-16: Paper not delivered, offered a credit. - 11-21: No paper, reported the issue and offered a credit. - 11-29: Called, assured delivery that day. - 11-30: Paper still not received, promised delivery later that day. - 12-3: Sunday paper missing again. The customer service representatives I have spoken with have been kind and understanding, but the problem persists. I am seeking a solution to ensure consistent Sunday deliveries. Thank you. -Jane P.

I want to warn others about Unlimited Moving and Storage in Lincolnwood, Illinois. After paying in full, they have not delivered all my belongings. They admit to still having them in storage and only vaguely promise eventual delivery. I am one of many victims of this company, missing significant furniture and personal items. This situation appears to be a scam to me.

This year, we have not received our paper for the fourth time. Despite calling and being assured it would arrive by 11:00AM, it never does. Consequently, we end up purchasing a copy from the drug store for $3.00. I have reported the issue but cannot confirm if a credit was issued. Contacting a CSR is challenging due to long delays. My wife cannot access the digital copy as she doesn't have a cell phone or computer. Kindly call me at [redacted] to discuss and provide credit for the missed deliveries. I last complained on February 7th and cannot recall the other dates we missed the paper. As a six-month subscriber, I am unsure whether credits were applied, looking forward to resolving this issue when we speak.

As a loyal subscriber receiving the W-T-F and S editions of the Tribune, I recently contacted customer service regarding missing deliveries. Despite an extension of my subscription for two days, the papers were not received again today. I am suggesting an additional day be added to my subscription to ensure service until April 1st. Furthermore, I must address the increase in subscription charges from $26 to $39.92. I find it unreasonable to pay for premium issues and digital features that I do not utilize. The extra charge for a paper statement is also dissatisfying. Although I opted for auto-pay to avoid the statement fee, the unexpected additional costs leave me feeling frustrated. Lastly, I express disappointment with the content's evident left-leaning bias. As a reader seeking balanced perspectives, I urge for more neutral reporting that represents both sides of every issue.

I have been a loyal subscriber of the Chicago Tribune for many years. While the service was satisfactory in the past, I have experienced numerous issues over the last two to three years. Despite being told the paper would arrive by 6:30, it consistently comes after 8 or even later, causing inconvenience. The bigger problem is the paper not showing up once or twice a month, prompting me to make repeated complaints that have not been addressed effectively. The phone representatives seem aware of my dissatisfaction but the problem persists. Sometimes, after calling, I receive the paper the next day or a different one, but often it doesn't arrive at all. Given the high cost of the subscription, I am frustrated and tired of the stress of waiting each morning.

My delivery service seems to have trouble getting my newspaper to me consistently. Despite making the necessary call, the paper delivery has been inconsistent. I missed out on the Chicago Tribune last Thursday and Friday, instead receiving the Post Tribune today. I prefer physical copies over digital or credit. My delivery preferences are the Post Tribune daily and the Chicago Tribune on specific days. I've asked the carrier to leave it on the porch for convenience, but it's often just tossed on a step causing a hazard. A phone call acknowledging this issue would be appreciated. Reading the newspaper in the morning is important to me, and I hope this matter can be resolved promptly. Thank you. - P.C. Email: [redacted] | Phone: [redacted]

I am a Sunday paper subscriber and read online almost every day. I also receive the weekly Suntimes, usually on Sundays. However, there are times when one paper is missing. I wake up at 6:30 every day, and if the paper is not there, I have to report a late delivery. Sometimes there is no response. This week, I received the Times but not the Trib, while my neighbor got the Trib but not the Times. After calling, they said I would receive the Sunday Trib with my Times, but only the Times arrived. I usually tip my delivery person at Christmas, but this year might be different. The cost of the paper is becoming too high for the unreliable service. My brother and I used to be paperboys and we always delivered regardless of the weather. Just needed to vent about this frustrating situation.

Experiencing a pneumothorax at 39,[redacted] feet can be prevented for men over 35 by waiting 36 hours before flying after damaging the lung's fascia chest lining. Fascia tears can happen from various activities, like playing golf or in my case, operating aircraft doors in emergency situations for FAA recertification. During training at the London Heathrow facility on 03/04/97, I overexerted myself, leading to tears similar to those from a day at the driving range. Despite being 42 years old, I flew from LHR to SFO on 04/04/97. Unfortunately, my lungs collapsed over Iceland, requiring immediate medical attention. Resolving to land at the nearest airport to seek help, I was informed that my best chance was LHR, not JFK, even though it would be more cost-effective to divert the flight to JFK. This ordeal sheds light on the challenges of workplace safety and legal repercussions for those speaking out. Contact me at +46(0)73 [redacted] 74 31 in Sweden.

As a UAL flight attendant, I experienced 6 near-death incidents at 39,[redacted] ft, leading to my retirement on SSDI. Unfortunately, UAL terminated me before my retirement without a fair hearing, 3 years after requesting to retire due to a denied orthopedic disability. UAL disregards orthopedic science, rehab, and MRIs crucial for flight attendants, despite the potential 85% spondylosis rate among 65-year-old men treatable with proper orthopedic rehab. Female cabin crew, like myself, face different health risks, yet UAL fails to address these concerns. I can be reached at +46 73 [redacted] 74 31 in Sweden and am grateful for Karolinska Institute's genuine orthopedic care and MRI support that saved my life.

I have a Wednesday and Sunday subscription but did not receive the Wednesday paper yesterday. I called this morning, reported it via the automated system requesting the paper instead of a credit. Despite expecting it today, I have not received it yet. My address is [redacted] West St, Streator. Please advise when I can expect the delivery of the Wednesday paper. Thank you, J.S.

I am extremely frustrated with the recent delivery issues of my Tribune newspaper. For over 30 years, I have consistently received my paper by 5:30 AM, but in the past few months, I've either received it late after I've left for work or not at all. Today, I didn't receive the paper despite calling about it. My wife and I are early risers, and receiving the paper at the correct time should not be difficult. I am tired of the repetitive excuses about delivery problems and the declining service quality despite the frequent complaints we make. The constant rate increases are unwarranted when the service is deteriorating. I am seeking to escalate this matter to someone in charge as the staff's responses have not been helpful. The situation has become unbearable, and I cannot continue reading the morning paper in the evening. Thank you, B. Rayman

I am having trouble accessing the full digital Tribune content. Each time I attempt to turn the page, I am notified that I have reached my complimentary article limit. A recent charge of $7.96 appeared on my Mastercard statement on 05/24/[redacted]. I have been a subscriber for years, updating my subscription with promotional offers. This issue has persisted for the past three weeks despite my attempts to resolve it over the phone. I am unable to access my account due to not having a password. I would like to read the complete newspaper or cancel my subscription and have the Mastercard charges refunded.

I have contacted numerous government agencies, civil rights groups, and lawyers to address my upsetting experience as a male sexual assault victim at Conway Regional Hospital in Arkansas. Despite my distress, when I requested not to be attended to by a male nurse, I was faced with being removed by the Conway police for leaving against medical advice. The hospital, being privately owned, even had the ambulance pick me up off the street and not their premises. The whole ordeal left me feeling mistreated. I believe there should be laws to protect patients in situations like mine. I feel that if I were a female victim, I may have been treated differently. I have even contemplated extreme actions out of frustration. I am seeking to have my story shared to bring attention to the lack of patient protection in such instances.

On Saturday, August 12, [redacted], my Tribune was not delivered. I contacted customer service, and they assured me it would be included with my Sunday paper, but it was not. Additionally, despite having porch delivery for many years, my Sunday paper on August 13, [redacted], was found at the end of the driveway. Then, on Tuesday, August 14, [redacted], the Tribune was missing again. After calling, I was told it would come with my Wednesday paper, but once more, only my Wednesday paper was at the driveway without the Tuesday issue. I have had exceptional service from my regular carrier for years, and I hope she has not changed. I kindly request assistance in resolving these delivery issues promptly. Thank you. Ellen P.
