I attempted to email Chegg's customer service but encountered delivery issues. I wanted to address concerns regarding a notification that my textbook "Immigration and Nationality Laws of the US" is overdue, despite returning it with all other rentals on May 16, [redacted]. I returned all books together via FedEx following Chegg's instructions, receiving confirmation emails on May 17 and 22 that the books were received and no further action was necessary. Kindly confirm the processing of all 4 rentals, particularly ISBN [redacted], as I don't wish to be charged the purchase price + taxes unjustly. I seek prompt resolution of this issue for the returned items. Thank you for your assistance. Unfortunately, I can't provide proof of the attachments from my initial email here. On May 15, I returned a box containing all three of my Chegg textbook rentals to FedEx along with the packaging slip. However, I recently received a notification stating that one of my books is considered overdue. I am confident that I returned all three books together and cannot locate the missing book. I have thoroughly searched my room to no avail. I am unable to cover the cost of a replacement or any late fees for a book that I returned before the deadline. I am willing to provide copies of the packaging slip and shipping label to resolve this issue promptly. The missing book is "Survey of Historic Costume" with the ISBN-13: [redacted][redacted]. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning, I received a notification three days ago that my account was suspended. However, I explained to two people from customer service that I logged into my phone and forgot to log out and then used my work computer at the same time. It was unsuspended today, but when I tried to reset my password on my phone, it got suspended again. I really need access to this Chegg account as I'm in a self-taught course. Do I have to wait another 48 hours, or can someone please unsuspend my account? It didn't even have the app open for 30 seconds before it was suspended. This is ridiculous; it was suspended twice in a row just because I used my phone and work computer. I do not share this account with anyone else. Can we please get to the bottom of this? I don't want to call customer service again because they can't do anything about the suspension. Thank you.

I waited to return my textbook, which I didn't even open, until June 39th. Yesterday, I checked Chegg, and it said I had to drop the item off at UPS either before or on June 30th to get the refund. When I checked today on Chegg, the option to return the package via UPS and get a refund was no longer available. Now, I was only able to send the book back via FedEx. The return/refund policy on the Chegg website stated it needed to take place via UPS for the refund. I just wanted to contact customer service about this discrepancy to request if I could still get a refund on this textbook, which I didn't open from the box before sending it back via FedEx. Any help with this situation will be greatly appreciated as I am short on funds. Thank you.

Hello, I returned to China on July 3rd. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to access my Chegg account. To troubleshoot, I had a friend in China log in to check if the issue is with my account or my hotel wifi as I am quarantining. Today, I received an email requesting a password reset to reactivate my account. I followed the instructions and used my VPN to reset the password, but then I received another email stating a violation of terms. I am confused about what is happening. Thank you.

I received a notification about the due date for my textbook from Chegg. I visited the Chegg website to print my return slip for the 11th Edition of Campbell Biology, which I had rented due to Covid-19 and self-teaching. Despite extending the rental period, I misplaced the original tracking number and receipt after dropping off the book at Postal Annex between June 5th-10th, [redacted]. I was surprised to receive an email on 7/10/[redacted] stating that I needed to return the book immediately or face a $[redacted].32 charge for not returning it. I do not want to pay for a book I returned seven weeks ago and am troubled by the continuing charges for a book I have already sent back.

Good afternoon, I have a Chegg account registered under the email [redacted] with a subscription to the Chegg Study pack. Recently, when attempting to log in to practice problem-solving, I discovered that my account's subscription was no longer active. I recall just signing up about a week ago, making it unlikely that my subscription had expired. When checking from my laptop where the transaction was made, I noticed I was still logged in, but attempts to access specific features prompted me to log in again. Curiously, under my name, I noticed an unfamiliar email address "[redacted]" This has raised concerns about potential unauthorized access and misuse of my credit card for online purchases. Hello, my name is Jessica. I am inquiring about the return status of my textbooks. The order number is #47AZFJAE. I returned all three textbooks, and two have been processed. However, the status for the last book shows as not returned, but I am certain I sent it back with the others in the same box. As the return date is approaching, I am concerned about being charged. I'm experiencing an ongoing issue accessing chegg.com as I am unable to reach the login page. Instead, I receive a message prompting me to verify I am not a bot. This problem has persisted for a few weeks despite my efforts to resolve it. I've attempted different browsers like Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, disabled ad blockers, and cleared cookies, which had previously worked. Additionally, I added chegg.com to the list of approved websites for storing cookies on Firefox as suggested in the error message, but this did not fix the problem. My husband encountered the same issue with his separate account. I have reported the problem multiple times using the "Report an issue" link at the bottom of the page displaying the error message. The specific access error message I receive when trying to visit the site is: "Please verify you are a human. Access to this page has been denied because we believe you are using automation tools to browse the website." This could be due to disabled Javascript, blocked cookies, or certain browser extensions. I hope everyone is well. I used Chegg Study and found it very helpful. I recommended it to my friends, but as my semester has ended, I currently don't need it. In the future, if I require it again, I will reach out. I canceled my Chegg Study pack subscription but was mistakenly charged. I spoke with Calina on July 25, who was very helpful. She mentioned I would receive my refund by July 31, but I have not received it yet, even though it's been over 5 business days. Since July 25, I have been unable to access your page and website on my devices. Emails from my usual address at [redacted] are not going through, so I am reaching out using an alternate email. I am a student and not currently earning, so I kindly request a refund of $19.95 for my subscription charges as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. A few years ago, I registered for Chegg using my email [redacted] and subscribed to Chegg Study with my PayPal account. However, my account got suspended from January to May for logging in on a different device, which was not shared with anyone. To regain access to Chegg Study for my ongoing semester, I signed up with a new personal email ([redacted]) and used the same PayPal account for payment. Unfortunately, I unknowingly continued to be billed for both accounts, leading to a total of $[redacted]. I had assumed I would not be charged for the suspended account since I couldn't use it and used the same payment method. I solely used Chegg Study for asking questions and viewing book solutions, without ordering any books. Your help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I've been charged continuously by Chegg after ordering a secondhand book just once. This resulted in unexpected monthly bills and an additional study pack charge. The total amount, $[redacted].72, is excessive for a used book and not what I agreed to. Discovering this morning, I feel disappointed and frustrated. I demand an immediate refund. Otherwise, I will involve legal action. Chegg must address this issue promptly and return the unjustly withdrawn funds.

Hello, I have a Chegg account under the email [redacted] My name is Jaden Cho, and I made an online book purchase with the order number NX66XZ77. I bought a secondhand book once for class, but I started noticing monthly charges on my credit card for additional items I didn't approve. The charges were more than what a new book would cost at a bookstore. I have attached photos as evidence. I demand an immediate refund for the unauthorized charges. If not, I will seek legal action with my lawyer and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's legal team. I am deeply disturbed by this experience and expect a prompt resolution by Chegg. Please return the money you took without consent.

However, I later noticed that Chegg continued to charge me monthly for additional services that I did not authorize. This unauthorized billing included a study pack, resulting in a total charge of $[redacted].72. I demand an immediate refund for these charges. If the refund is not issued promptly, I will not hesitate to seek legal action with the help of my lawyers and the legal resources available at our school, UIUC. Chegg's practice of repeatedly charging students without consent is unacceptable and needs to be rectified immediately. Refund the money that was taken from my account without permission without any further delay.

On August 9, [redacted], I ordered three textbooks, but mistakenly had them shipped to my old address on file with Chegg. After realizing this on August 10 when I received a shipping confirmation, I tried to change the delivery address through UPS, but was unable to until a delivery attempt had been made. Despite the attempt, I am still unable to reroute the delivery to my current address. UPS stated that Chegg needs to approve the rerouting, but Chegg said it couldn't be done once the books were shipped. I'm stuck and unsure how to proceed. Any advice would be appreciated.

I recently ordered two textbooks from Chegg: "Seeley’s Anatomy & Physiology" (12th ed.) and the "Anatomy Coloring Book" (4th ed.). As my classes start Wednesday, I wanted to review the books. However, when I tried to check my order for the coloring book using a bookmark on my desktop, it redirected me to the main screen. After resetting my password, I found that neither book was listed in my library, and my order tab was empty. Though I didn't receive a receipt via email, I can confirm the transaction on my account. I noticed unauthorized charges on my account from Chegg for June and August [redacted], even though I had canceled my subscription in May. I did not need the service over the summer. Despite canceling in advance, the charges were still applied in the subsequent months. I am frustrated and disappointed with this situation as I made it clear I did not wish to renew my membership. I am requesting a refund of $31.76 for the erroneous charges in June and August (with no charge in July). Due to these billing issues, I would like to permanently close my Chegg account. I hope to see a prompt resolution to this matter, as I am quite unhappy about being billed after canceling my subscription several months ago.

I recently ordered a book from Chegg in June with the order number 9U7DDXRD. On June 25, [redacted], I received an email stating that the shipping carrier was sending the book back to Chegg even though I had already returned it on time. Now, I have been charged a late fee, which is incorrect. Despite sending the book back a month before the due date, I am being told I have not returned it, and a charge has been applied to my mom's card. I am requesting a chargeback for this error. The email I received today confirmed that the shipping carrier has received and shipped the package back to Chegg on June 24, [redacted]. I am new to using Chegg and am seeking information about how etextbooks function. Specifically, I am wondering about the process if a Chegg etextbook is rented. Does the book get downloaded to the computer, and what happens if the computer encounters issues and cannot start up later on? Are the ebooks stored in the "cloud," allowing students to access them on a new or different computer? Can the textbooks be used offline, or is internet or wifi required? Is it possible to download or copy the book to an external hard drive for use on a different computer, such as bringing it to a computer lab on campus? I apologize for the inquiries, but due to recent severe storms in the Midwest causing extended internet outages, I am concerned about the feasibility of relying on etextbooks for our student.

I made a purchase for a textbook for the upcoming fall semester. My order number is FW0H5KXY, and two textbooks were ordered on 8/12 with an expected delivery date of 8/14.
