I have been a loyal customer of Chegg for nearly three years. Recently, I posted two written assignments on the platform. The first assignment was answered by a tutor within the time frame I provided, but the second one expired without a response. Chegg assured me that I would not be charged for the unanswered assignment. However, upon checking my bank account today, I discovered multiple charges from Chegg totaling $[redacted], including double charges of $[redacted], four charges of $[redacted] each, and additional charges of $67 and $50. I had only agreed to pay $50 for the first assignment, which was completed in 30 minutes, and $[redacted] for the second assignment, which should have taken only 2 hours. I feel incredibly let down by Chegg and believe it is unjust to be charged for services not rendered. I kindly request a refund to maintain my satisfaction as a Chegg customer. Thank you.

I frequently rely on Chegg tutor to assist me with study guides for my challenging classes. Recently, I encountered an issue when I needed help with three questions. Initially, a tutor I contacted required 8 hours to complete the task, so I sought assistance elsewhere and found a different tutor. However, when I tried to cancel the first request, instead of receiving help to cancel it, the initial tutor went ahead and completed the questions, which I no longer needed help with. While I appreciate Chegg's system of charging and refunding appropriately, I am a financially struggling college student and would like a refund for the unnecessary first request. Despite this isolated incident, I utilize Chegg tutor regularly and hope to resolve this matter. Thank you.

Hello, my email is [redacted] Unfortunately, my account was suspended, and I take full responsibility for it. Regrettably, my boyfriend accessed my account without permission and shared the password with others. I have changed the password to prevent further access. The situation has left me extremely distressed as I rely on my Chegg subscription for my classes. I sincerely apologize for the breach and kindly request that my account not be suspended.

I recently had my account suspended because I had the app open on my laptop and tablet simultaneously. This is the second time this has occurred in a month, and while I understand the need to be cautious about using multiple devices, I feel the suspension policy is severe. I contacted customer service immediately upon suspension, but they were unable to assist and transferred me to a higher representative. Despite being promised a resolution, I am still waiting for my account to be unlocked after over 48 hours. I find it frustrating that such a situation has escalated due to accessing my account on two devices. As a paying customer, I urge for a prompt resolution as it has been more than 48 hours since my account was suspended.

I encountered technical issues when trying to connect with my tutor for a lesson. Despite being in communication with the tutor, I faced challenges entering the lesson space as instructed, causing delays and confusion. Even though my card had adequate funds, I repeatedly received an error message prompting me to update my card information, preventing me from accessing the lesson space and resulting in a charge of $27.77 plus additional fees. Additionally, my account showed a balance of [redacted] minutes, adding to the confusion. Ultimately, I was unable to proceed with the lesson due to these persistent obstacles and would like further clarification on the issues faced. Thank you.

Good afternoon, I am currently reviewing my bank statements and noticed that I have been charged $14.99 for the past 8 months for Chegg. I used Chegg years ago when I was in college and utilized it for tutoring in August, but I did not intend to subscribe to anything. I am seeking a full refund as I have not utilized this account. I believe I have previously reached out to Chegg regarding this matter, and they stated it was canceled. I am concerned that there may be multiple accounts associated with my name. While I appreciate Chegg's services, I find the deceptive subscription practices unacceptable. Normally, I receive email reminders for bill payments, which would have brought this issue to my attention months ago. Kindly redirect my email to the relevant party who can assist me with this issue. Best regards, Alyx

Hello, I signed up for Chegg around October and have been experiencing issues with my account being suspended despite being the sole user. I thought it was canceled but later discovered I had two active accounts and have been charged twice a month. I canceled my most recent account but am unable to access my old account linked to the email [redacted] since I no longer use it. I have tried contacting customer service with no luck. Please cancel all accounts associated with Alexandra Nesrallah as I am very frustrated with this situation.

Dear support team, I recently utilized the Chegg tutor service under the email [redacted] with my name listed as Sara. I am currently residing in Tanzania where the internet connection is often unreliable. To compound the issue, a significant power outage occurred, rendering my desktop inoperable during my tutoring session scheduled for 9pm East African time. Unfortunately, I noticed I was billed for a session that I was unable to participate in due to the power disruption. I kindly ask for a refund as I am facing financial challenges being unemployed. Your assistance in reimbursing the charge would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Warm regards, Sarah

I am currently being charged $10.61 per month. My subscription was canceled in October [redacted]. I am confused as this money is being deducted from my bank account, despite not making any purchases or orders from the company since I canceled the subscription in February [redacted]. I want to cease these charges and receive a refund for the past 3 months. My bank statements show a monthly charge of $10.61 starting from January. I am unsure how the company obtained my bank account information since I initially used a credit card. I suspect this is a scam and possibly illegal. I have attempted to contact Chegg without success. Please assist me in resolving this matter promptly.

I encountered an issue with my Chegg account subscription renewal. I recently canceled my current subscription before the renewal date of 08/05, hoping to purchase a new one to receive additional questions. Unfortunately, upon purchasing a new subscription, I was charged $15.49, but my account remained unchanged. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I created a new Chegg account with a different Apple ID and bought another subscription for $14.99. However, my Chegg account still did not reflect any active subscriptions or orders, despite the total of over 30 euros being deducted from my account. I have previously had seamless experiences with Chegg subscriptions and hope to have this matter promptly resolved by transferring the subscriptions to the correct accounts or issuing a refund. Thank you for your assistance. Regards, A. Earlie

Hello, I am a nursing student named Angela Kleist about to graduate to join the healthcare workforce. Recently, upon reviewing an email from renting a textbook in January [redacted], I discovered that I was unknowingly enrolled in a free trial for services I did not choose. Upon further inspection of my credit card statement, I noticed monthly charges of $19.95 for more than a year. I feel disappointed for not noticing these charges earlier but even more frustrated with the company for continuously billing me for services I did not request. I would like to request a refund for the past year of the "Study Pack Subscription" enrollment as I have never used it and did not intentionally sign up for it. Thank you for considering my request. Best, Angela Kleist

I have noticed that my debit card was charged $15.94 twice a month in February, March, and April. I would appreciate a refund for the extra charges. Initially, I had issues with my Chegg account connected to my Yahoo email on different devices. I created a new account with my Cornell email, assuming it was the only active one. However, I just discovered both accounts were still active and charging the same debit card. I was under the impression the unused account linked to my Yahoo email was going to be canceled based on an email from Chegg. I have now canceled the Yahoo account subscription to avoid future charges and plan to stick with the Cornell email account for Chegg. I value Chegg as a learning tool during my college transition. Thank you for your assistance.

I have noticed duplicate charges of $15.94 on my debit card every month from February to April. It seems these charges were due to having two active Chegg accounts - one linked to my Yahoo email and the other to my Cornell email. I believed the Yahoo-linked account was closed after receiving an email about misuse and created a new account. Realizing the old account was still active, I have just canceled it. I have not used the old account and wish to be refunded for the duplicate charges. I appreciate Chegg's service and plan to continue using my Cornell-linked account. The emails associated with the accounts are [redacted] and [redacted] Thank you for your assistance.

I was suspended, but I have not shared my account. I followed Chegg's instructions to "get Chegg on mobile" and "view answers in the app." I am the sole user of my Chegg account, evident if you check the logged-in devices. On my laptop, I have two profiles, one for school and one for personal use. Occasionally, I use Chegg on my personal profile as I do not wish to log in and out for a few questions. Chegg kept prompting me to use the mobile app, but I faced constant issues and got labeled for "suspicious activity." This situation is frustrating, especially with the heavy promotion of the mobile app on the browser. I pay a significant amount monthly and reject the accusation of account sharing, considering my account is strictly accessed on devices under my ownership. I need access to the service for impending deadlines. Thank you.

I am frustrated by the repeated occurrence of this issue which is hindering my ability to complete assignments. My account has been locked due to multiple sign-ins while I was simply switching between devices to work comfortably. Waiting 48 hours for a review is unacceptable as this problem is urgent. I find it distressing to deal with this situation and the unhelpful response I received from reaching out to customer support. I am seeking assistance from a higher-ranking individual to address this recurring problem that likely affects many students. The stress caused is compounded by the monthly fees I pay. If this persists without resolution, I expect a refund for all the months of service disrupted by this inconvenience.

My account has been wrongly accused and suspended for account sharing, which has happened for the second time. I have never shared my account and have taken precautions to prevent suspension by logging out and using only one device at a time. I contacted your support yesterday to resolve this before the 48-hour waiting period, as I need my account for homework due this weekend. The representative mentioned sending me an email after our chat, but I have not received it yet. It has been about 18 hours since my suspension, and the issue remains unresolved. I hope this time my contact will lead to a resolution. Thank you.

Hello, I was on the $14.95 monthly plan until April 25th. I needed a solution urgently and was informed that I had to subscribe to Chegg for $19.95. Despite trying to resolve the issue by logging in and out, and restarting my computer, I couldn't access the solution without subscribing. I subscribed to the $19.95 plan. Can you confirm if my subscription was canceled today, so I won't be charged monthly anymore? Can I also be reimbursed $21.55 for re-subscribing in April and another $21.55 for May since I am no longer using Chegg? Thank you.

Hello, I need assistance removing two questions from my Chegg account promptly. One of the questions was accidentally posted after it was answered, which was a mistake since Chegg is not allowed for use, and I apologize for this error. I need to have this question removed. The second question remains unanswered, and I also need it removed. Thank you for your help in ensuring the questions are deleted to maintain academic honesty.

I subscribed to Chegg in July [redacted] with the intention of using it for only a couple of months. In August [redacted], I believed I cancelled my subscription, but I realize now I accidentally paused it. Unfortunately, my account reactivated in March [redacted] without my knowledge. I have been charged monthly since then, even though I have not used the service since I initially tried to cancel. I would appreciate a refund for the months I was charged after the unintended reactivation, as I was unaware I was still subscribed and did not utilize the service.
