Hello. I've been experiencing issues with my account being suspended for over a month due to suspicions of it being shared, despite being the sole user. I was unable to access my account without facing restrictions. I believed the account had been closed permanently. Today, I managed to cancel my subscription on my laptop after being unable to do so on my phone. I was charged $15 on December 10th for a service I couldn't use in November or after that due to the limitations. I am requesting a $15 refund for December 10th to January 10th as I couldn't utilize the account. Following these difficulties, I would like to close my account permanently.

Hello there! I signed up for a Chegg account and purchased a one-month subscription on 15/12. Unfortunately, I am unable to log in as the system says my email and password don't match. Despite multiple attempts using the "forgot password" option, I haven't received any reset emails. I've been trying this for days with no success. Could you assist in locating my account and also help me cancel the subscription?

I signed up for the Chegg Study trial, graduating on December 14th, and cancelled it a week before. Although a cancellation notification appeared, I didn't receive an email confirmation. On December 25th, I was charged $20 for the subscription. After logging in, I had to cancel again. I'm seeking a refund due to the prior cancellation and because I no longer need the service after graduating. I used it only a few times. I'm willing to dispute the charge with my bank if necessary. The system glitch during my initial cancellation seems to have caused the charge to go through unnoticed.

Hello, I wanted to share an update regarding my recent textbook return. On 12/17, I returned my textbook and received an email confirmation, acknowledging the return. The email expressed gratitude for being proactive and even included a discount code for my next rental. Today, though, I received a conflicting email stating that my textbooks are overdue and my credit card will be charged. I am Emily Bartel, and my order number is KM22PPDV.

Hello Chegg customer service team, I need your assistance regarding the late fees I was charged for my textbook rentals. On 12/20/[redacted], I dropped off my books at a UPS location on my campus, following the given instructions. Unfortunately, UPS did not physically receive the box until 1/2/[redacted]. I have proof with an outgoing slip indicating my name, package description, and the received date. I am willing to provide a photo with the UPS initials upon request. Despite the slight delay, I adhered to the return guidelines. I am requesting a refund for the charges related to the four textbooks. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, R.Q.

Hello, I recently received an email from Chegg mentioning that they suspect me of having their experts solve my exam problems, which is completely untrue. I find it frustrating to be warned about potentially having my account closed for "abusing expert answers." I seek help with questions from previous year's exam sets as I'm unaware of the ones for [redacted]. During my exam, which lasts for 4 hours and prohibits any external communication, I rely on studying past questions. I have not engaged in any form of cheating. I sincerely hope this issue can be resolved without threatening to close my account as I only aim to practice with old exam questions. Kindly reach out to the University for verification if needed.

I'm currently facing an issue returning my book as my campus is closed until school resumes on the 20th. I wasn't able to return it by the initial due date. Could you possibly extend the return date to after the 20th? I'm currently out of the country and my school won't reopen until then. I've only just received the emails and am being charged fees as the internet service in my current location is limited. I'd really appreciate your help as I'm concerned about the accumulating fees, and I was unaware of the situation. My order number is 5PUENV4K.

Two months ago, I attempted to pause my Chegg subscription, but I have recently noticed that I was still charged for the last two months despite not utilizing the service. This has been frustrating for me as I did not anticipate being billed when the account was not in use. As per my understanding, the account was supposed to be paused for 6 months. Can you please verify this information for me? If not, I may have to consider cancelling my subscription. Additionally, I would appreciate a refund for the charges incurred during the period my account was inactive.

I recently received a call from my bank regarding multiple charges from CHEGG on my account, which seemed unusual. Upon reviewing my bank statements, I noticed that I have been double charged $14.95 each month since September [redacted]. I am puzzled as I only hold one subscription with your company, and it appears that my account is being charged on the 16th and then again on the 20th of every month. While my CHEGG account indicates a single monthly charge, my bank records show otherwise. This month, the charge increased to $16.00 on the 16th, and there is another pending charge for the 20th. I am contacting you to resolve this issue promptly, as I have informed my bank that only one monthly charge is authorized. I have attempted to call customer service without success, and I am unable to reach out via Twitter. If this matter is not rectified by the end of the week, I will proceed with filing fraudulent charges against CHEGG with my bank.

I recently received a call from my bank about multiple charges from CHEGG on my account, which seemed unusual. Upon checking my bank statements, I discovered that I have been double charged $14.95 each month since September [redacted]. Despite only having one subscription with CHEGG, my account reflects charges on the 16th and 20th of every month. Although my CHEGG account shows only one charge, my bank statements show otherwise. Notably, this month I was charged $16.00 on the 16th and there is a pending charge for the 20th. Before escalating the issue, I wanted to address this with you directly. I have informed my bank that only one charge per month is authorized. Despite several attempts to contact customer service, I have been unable to reach anyone. I do not have a Twitter account to message you. If this is not resolved promptly, I will have to take further action.

Hi Jack, I received my confirmation email on the 11th stating that my textbooks should have arrived by the 14th, but they have not been delivered yet. I contacted UPS, and they informed me that the books have not even been shipped, which is concerning since I received confirmation from your team. One book, which cost $[redacted], did arrive on time, but the others are still missing. The titles I am waiting for are: "Tactical Anthropology: a Practical Guide for Emergency and Disaster Response in Culturally Complex Communities," "Postville U.S.A.," "Health Matters," and "Theoretical Foundations of Health Education and Health Promotion." Since this order was quite expensive, I would appreciate a discount or, even better, receiving a replacement set free of charge. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Lexi

Dear Chegg, I have an account registered under my parents' email [redacted], and I'm facing an issue with the return of the book "The Promise." Despite returning it and having witnesses present, including friends, the system still shows it as not returned. I thoroughly searched both my house and dorm room but couldn't find it. It seems like there might have been an issue on your end with tracking the return, as my friends have experienced similar problems. I believe I shouldn't be charged late fees for a book that I know I returned. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated, especially considering the recent string of challenges I've faced. Any help would bring some much-needed positivity into my life. Sincerely, P. Kayser

I recently returned a textbook to Chegg, but there was an issue with the shipping. Despite my efforts to follow the instructions given by my college, the package was returned to me, causing a delay that made me miss the 21-day deadline. The return label indicated that the package should have been sent by January 30th, but due to the mix-up, I was only able to ship it on the 31st. I received an email from Chegg stating that my book is on its way back. I hope to confirm that this delay will not impact my refund, and that it is indeed a refund for returning the rental, rather than just an early return. Thank you for your help.

I purchased textbooks from Chegg and received a complimentary one-month subscription. Upon attempting to cancel the subscription today, I discovered that I had already been billed for the following month, despite my initial purchase being less than a month ago. Timeline: I bought the textbooks and received a one-month free subscription on 01/06/[redacted]. I canceled the subscription on 02/03/[redacted], yet I have been charged today for the upcoming month. Requested Action: I simply wish to have the next month's subscription terminated and the $16 refunded to my credit card.

Two weeks ago, I contacted a live chat representative regarding being double charged for my Chegg Study subscription. The charges were only 3 days apart, with the first occurring when the subscription was inactive. The representative assured me the initial charge was just a hold and would disappear within 5 business days. Unfortunately, as of January 20th, both charges are still on my bank statement. Today is February 4th, and I am unable to find anyone to address this issue with. I am requesting an immediate refund to prevent having to take further steps to recover my funds.

I rented three books back in August that were due in January. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue with the return shipping labels as I couldn't open or download them to print. I reached out via email to the sender but haven't received a response. I'm seeking assistance in obtaining the correct shipping labels to return the books promptly and also hoping for a refund given the situation.

After unknowingly renting a book and getting charged the full amount later, I contacted customer service to request a refund. They agreed to refund the $17 rental fee but didn't address the $[redacted] charge. I missed alerts about the additional charge as they were sent to an email I rarely check. I have the book and am willing to return it if it means receiving a full refund.

Hello, my name is Isaac K. Lee, and I am a college student at UCI. I am writing to address an issue with overcharges on my account transactions. Since October of last year, I have noticed that I am being charged $14.95 twice a month instead of the correct $14.95 per month. For instance, there were two Chegg transactions for $14.95 each on Jan 12 and Jan 22. I am requesting an explanation for this discrepancy and a full refund for the overcharges. I have screenshots of all the Chegg transactions available if necessary. Thank you in advance, and I look forward to your prompt response. Regards, Isaac K. Lee

Hello, I requested a tutoring session for a homework assignment from Mradul P. He sent me two sessions at separate times, one for an hour and the other for two hours. I intended to accept the one-hour session, but somehow both were accepted. I believe I should only be charged for one hour, but I see charges for three hours. Can I please receive a refund of $90 for the two-hour session that was not part of our agreement? Thank you, Shreya

I mailed two textbooks to Chegg through UPS together in one package. I got an email on 1/18/20 saying that both books were on their way to Chegg's warehouse. However, on 1/20/20, I received another email claiming they only received one book, but I shipped both in the same box. I was recently charged $[redacted] for a book that I actually returned. I am requesting a refund for this charge.
