I allowed a friend to use my account for a school assignment once, but I did not intend for it to continue. Despite resetting my password, I am still repeatedly locked out of my account. Deleting my current account is not an option as I still require access to purchased textbooks for the remainder of the semester. Any assistance in resolving this ongoing password reset loop would be highly valued. Thank you.

I signed up for Chegg Study two months ago by mistake but couldn't reach anyone to cancel and get a refund. After thinking I had canceled after the first month, I was charged again for the second month which I didn't use at all. Chegg's customer service is hard to access. I stopped my Chegg subscription at the end of last semester, just in case I needed it for this semester. However, in late August, I discovered that it was no longer necessary, so I cancelled the subscription. While I never received a confirmation email, I assumed the cancellation was successful. Upon checking my account recently, I noticed charges for September, October, November, and December. I have not used the service for several months. Is it possible to get a refund for the charges? Hello, I am reaching out to share my experience with Chegg recently. I encountered some issues with the tutoring service I paid for. I had paid for a plan that included 60 minutes of free live tutoring sessions. However, I experienced several problems with the tutors I connected with. During my sessions, I faced difficulties understanding the tutors due to strong accents, and in some cases, the tutors were unable to explain the concepts clearly. There were instances where the tutors did not fulfill the teaching requirements and ended the sessions prematurely. I believe I should not be charged for these incomplete or unsatisfactory sessions. I had a positive experience with one tutor who provided a good written lesson, but I was unable to have a successful live lesson due to technical errors. Despite these challenges, I feel that I should only be charged for the written lesson that was completed successfully. I kindly request a refund for the charges related to the unsatisfactory or incomplete sessions and ask for clarification on the next steps. I value the platform Chegg provides for students but hope for better quality control in selecting tutors to ensure students receive the support they need. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am experiencing an issue with my Chegg Study account being suspended for alleged "malicious activity." Despite being the only person using my account across various devices and locations, it got suspended. This has caused substantial study delays, so I want to permanently delete my account. The company's profit-driven policy to attract more users and allow simultaneous logins without logging out others is frustrating. I have no interest in a solution; I simply want to close my account and hope this feedback leads to improvements in handling similar issues.

I'm frustrated that Chegg deactivated my account over accusations of sharing it, which is not true. I'm deployed and need access as I'm in the final week of my course. Please reactivate my account! If not, I'll have to cancel and advise against using this site, despite a friend's recommendation. I only use this laptop to log in, and no one else has my login details.

I recently graduated and no longer need Chegg Study. I forgot to cancel my subscription and haven't used it. Although the service has been helpful, I'd like a refund and to cancel the remaining subscription. I've already canceled, but I was charged. Yesterday, I tried to access my account via mobile to pause my subscription, but I encountered trouble loading it, and an error message kept popping up, saying to try again later. Today, I managed to log in from my computer, but I couldn't pause or cancel the subscription as a payment was already processing. Hello, I used Chegg Study for the first month after purchasing it. I attempted to cancel via desktop, but it seems my request didn't register. I rented a book for this semester for just $8 with my Cengage subscription. I want to keep the same book for next semester since I have a 12-month subscription that allows me to get it for only the shipping fee. Is there a way to hold onto this book for the upcoming semester instead of returning it and reordering it later?

Hi there. I encountered an issue with my Chegg account linked through Facebook a few hours ago. Right before an exam, I was blocked due to unusual activities. The problem arises because the email associated with my Chegg account was not my usual email, making it impossible for me to retrieve or reset the password. Despite attempting various options to reactivate my account, I have been unsuccessful. This has been particularly frustrating, especially just before an important exam. I am currently unable to access my Chegg account, even at this moment.

Hello! I purchased a subscription on my account about a month ago, and everything was working well until a few days ago when I encountered restrictions. I believe this may have happened because the system wrongly detected sharing activity, although I did not share my Chegg account with anyone. Initially, I thought it might be a payment issue, but after resolving that, I still couldn't access my subscription. I have noticed an additional charge of $15 for next month's subscription on my card, which is still pending as it was processed today. I have canceled my subscription and would appreciate a refund since I will not be in school next month and do not require access. I am looking to restart my subscription when the next semester commences. Upon canceling, the system shows that I have already paid for the upcoming month and am entitled to access until 1/12/19. I signed up for a Chegg study subscription intending to cancel after the first month before the semester ended. I expected an email confirming before the second-month charge, but since I didn't receive one and my account wasn't debited, I went ahead and canceled on Thursday morning. Unfortunately, I later noticed a charge of $14.95 for the second month on the same day. I would like to request a refund as I had already canceled my subscription before the charge.
