return my books in time, as i always have, but due to leaving kentucky in a rush i did not think about taking my books to pennsylvania with me ... Hi! I have recently rented books for this past semester. I go to school in Kentucky but am originally from Pennsylvania (an * hour drive), unfortunately, throughout this semester I was robbed at gunpoint in my apartment and decided to quickly go home for a short period of time to get a clear head space. I just returned last night at about **:**am and realized that my books are due TODAY. I had recieved calls about them but since I was not in the state, and my mind was preoccupied I feel as if I am going to be charged. Financially, after the incident I am struggling and so the extra charge will do some serious damage. I am able to send them today, however, I know that they won't make it back in time for the due date, therefore being charged. I was not sure if there was anything you could do for me like extend the date *-* days to ensure that it makes there on time? I am terribly sorry and thank you so much in advance. Kind regards
This is extremely stressful due to my circumstances and this charge would without a doubt only do more damage to myself and my situation. I had to re purchase all of my belongings and so I really can't waste money on books I no longer need.
They could make this right by allowing an extension of *-* business days to ensure that my books make it there on time
I have been a customer for over * years, using the textbook rental service in college and monthly subscriptions throughout high school to use for study tools. I recommend Chegg to everyone I know and never have a bad thing to say.
I have tried emailing and calling multiple customer service people throughout the past ** hours and no one seems to have an answer nor cares enough to try to assist me in figuring this situation out
