I canceled my subscription at the end of [redacted], but I have noticed charges on my card for the past 3 months. Despite canceling my account, I am still being charged. I am unsure why this is happening. Could it be that someone is using my card for a different account, or perhaps I have an old account that was never properly closed that I cannot access now? I am uncertain, but I want to avoid any additional charges. Thank you.

Hello, I recently signed up for the Study subscription to get help with my homework questions. Unfortunately, after subscribing and checking the answers provided by the so-called experts, I realized they were incorrect right from the beginning. I was hoping for accurate solutions to my problems, but it seems I didn't receive that. The specific questions I had trouble with are as follows: [redacted] and [redacted] I am disappointed with the quality of the answers received, and I believe I am entitled to a refund due to the lack of benefit I gained from the subscription. Thank you. Aditya

Hello, I rented the book "Theory Essentials 2nd Edition" by Connie Mayfield from Chegg at the beginning of this semester, Spring '19. However, my professor, Connie Mayfield, fell ill, causing the class to be canceled. I have now been added to a different class that does not require this textbook. The head of the music department has confirmed via email that the book is no longer needed for the new class replacing the canceled one. Therefore, I am requesting a refund for the purchase or a credit that I can use towards another textbook for the new class. I hope this explanation is clear, and please feel free to reach out if you require any further information.

On yesterday, I was billed $15 for a Chegg study subscription. This charge was unexpected and frustrating as it was processed on a card with insufficient funds, resulting in an overdraft fee. I did not initiate this subscription. It seems that the last time I subscribed was on November 5, [redacted], yet one was mysteriously ordered on 3/12/[redacted], even though it is currently [redacted]. The most recent order number is TYW062UM, set to expire on 4/12/[redacted], which is confusing. My account was so inactive that I had to reset my password to access the account history on chegg.com. I kindly request that this error be rectified, and I receive a refund of the charged amount ($14.95). Thank you.

A few days ago, I created an account and rented a textbook. Now, when I try to log in to access my homework, I can't access my account because my usual email isn't working, and my password isn't being accepted. I tried to reset my password, but I didn't receive an email. I am unsure under what account I made the purchase, but I know the charge went through on my card. I attempted to sign up again with my usual email, [redacted], and created a new account, but it's not the one I used to rent the book. I need to find my original account to complete my assignments due today and in the coming days.

I am Anali Warner and noticed a charge of $40.50 for tutoring services that confuses me. I paid $30 for a one-hour written tutoring session with Samuel X. and had an additional live tutoring session for 43 minutes with Tajay W on April 7. I expected the extra 43 minutes to be billed at $0.50 per minute, totaling $21.50 for that session. My understanding was that the written session would utilize the full $30 of my monthly subscription. The unexpected additional charges are disappointing since I did not anticipate or request another full hour. Moreover, the assistance I received was not as beneficial as I had hoped for.

Hello, my name is Sandra. I recently rented a textbook from Chegg and received it promptly. However, I also needed the "Inquizitive" online homework code, not realizing the book already had one. I ended up renting another textbook, but found the original code still inside when the second book arrived. I mistakenly used the label from the second book to return the first one for a refund within the 21-day period, but lost the return receipt for the original rental. I only have one email for Chegg, and I hope to receive guidance on how to properly return the initial history book I rented before the deadline. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Sandra H.

I have attempted to contact Chegg multiple times regarding a recurring charge I am still receiving. Despite being promised my credit card would not be charged, I have been billed 3 times at $14.99 each, despite not using the service and explicitly asking to cease charges. This has led me to question if this may be a scam. I initially signed up with Chegg for a single class last November, but upon realizing I didn't need it, I followed the website's steps to cancel my account. I have been charged over $[redacted] since then, and despite a $14.99 refund issued in January due to the same problem, I was assured no future charges would occur. Despite this, I was charged in February and after reaching out received no reply. I am contacting Chegg again before escalating the issue with my bank to prevent any future charges.

Hello, last year, I obtained a Chegg account for college, but this year I decided not to continue with it. Despite receiving three months of free Chegg study through a Sallie Mae loan for March, April, and May, I was surprised to see that I was still charged for March. Unhappy with this, I contacted Chegg to close the account, which they confirmed via email. However, I was billed again for April, which I did not expect. I would like a refund for April and possibly for March as well. I no longer wish to have a Chegg account and request that I am not billed further if my account is truly closed. Thank you.

I have been using this site for several months. This morning, I attempted to subscribe for $14.99, but after making the payment, I was unable to submit a question as the system prompted me to subscribe again. I later discovered that $14.99 was deducted from my account without activating the subscription. Upon re-subscribing, another $14.99 was charged, and this time the subscription was successful. I would like a refund for the initial $14.99 as I did not receive any benefits from it, and I request that the first subscription be canceled to prevent unwanted renewals. Can you please review my payment history to verify the two transactions? I can provide the email confirmation and bank statement as proof. Additionally, I did not receive an email confirmation for the initial subscription, only for the second one. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

I have been using this site for several months without any issues. However, this morning when I tried to subscribe at the regular price, I encountered a problem. After subscribing and attempting to submit a question, I was prompted to subscribe again even though the payment had been deducted from my bank account. I subscribed once more, resulting in a duplicate charge, but this time the subscription was successful. I am requesting a refund for the initial payment as I did not receive the subscription the first time and to ensure that the first subscription does not renew unexpectedly. I would appreciate if you could review my payment history to see the two transactions. I can provide the email confirmation and bank statement as proof. Additionally, I did not receive an email confirmation for the first subscription, though I did for the second, causing confusion and a double charge. I expect a refund of $14.99 for the unsuccessful subscription and cancellation of the initial subscription. Thank you.

Today, my Chegg Study subscription was unexpectedly renewed a day earlier than I anticipated, resulting in a charge of $14.95. I had assumed it would renew on the end of the day on 5/5 rather than the beginning. Realizing this, I promptly canceled my subscription, but unfortunately, I was still charged for the entire upcoming month, despite no longer needing the service. Given my current financial constraints as a college student, every dollar counts, and $15 is significant to me. I kindly request a refund for the unused portion of the subscription. It would be helpful for Chegg to send renewal reminders or clarify their policies to prevent similar situations in the future.

I have been attempting to secure a refund for my Easybib subscription. The website states that refunds can be requested for charges within the last 15 days with no questions asked. My account was charged today, and despite multiple attempts to contact Chegg through their websites, I only found a way to reach out after searching online. Calling them did not prove helpful; I was even directed to tweet at them, which I found to be unprofessional. Given the clear refund policy on the website, I expect a refund for my subscription.

Since December [redacted], I have been experiencing a recurring issue with Chegg charges. Despite canceling my subscription long ago, my card continues to be charged. I am frustrated and tired of contacting customer service repeatedly to resolve this problem. I am requesting that my email be removed from your subscription list, and I want a refund of $15.94 for the charges incurred despite not using Chegg. It is imperative that you update your systems promptly to prevent further unauthorized charges. Despite speaking to numerous representatives about this matter, the problem persists. Please cease charging my account immediately, as I no longer utilize Chegg services. In the past, I was promised that the charges would cease, but this has not been the case. The account in question is associated with the email [redacted], yet I am still being billed. It is essential for your team to rectify this situation to avoid future inconvenience.

I had the Chegg.com page open on my laptop ready to order a book priced at $20.49. After reopening the tab the next day, the price had unexpectedly increased to $99.49 for renting. I am unsure if this was a website glitch or an actual price change. If interested, the book's ISBN is [redacted][redacted]. When comparing, other rental options are consistently priced at $20.49, not the increased rate of $99.49. I was disappointed as I planned to rent at the original lower price. Can anyone assist in resolving this pricing discrepancy or determining if it was indeed a website error?

Subject: Chegg Study Subscription Assistance Requested Dear Concerned Party, I am Lizette Maurath, a user of Chegg Study since April, seeking help for my Statistics course. I received confirmation number J6WGFVTY on April 23. My subscription is set for renewal on May 23. Having concluded my spring semester at Suffolk County Community College on May 22, I will not require Chegg Study till September 3, the beginning of the Fall semester. I am kindly requesting assistance in processing a refund for the May payment, which may still be pending. Additionally, I am interested in exploring the option to temporarily pause my monthly subscription rather than cancelling it, as I plan to resume using it during the upcoming Fall semester. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Have a pleasant day.

Hello, I recently rented books for this semester. I am a student in Kentucky but originally from Pennsylvania, an 8-hour drive away. Unfortunately, I was robbed at gunpoint in my apartment this semester and went home briefly to clear my head. I just returned last night at 12:30 am and found out my books are due today. I received calls about them, but being out of state and preoccupied, I fear I will be charged. After the incident, I am financially struggling, and the extra charge will be a burden. I can send them today, but I know they won't make it back on time, resulting in a fee. I was hoping if there was a possibility to extend the due date by 2-3 days to ensure timely return. Apologies for the inconvenience, and thank you.

Around two weeks ago, I purchased an ebook titled "Ancient Greece." Initially, I could easily search within the book using the search function. However, now when attempting to search, I consistently receive the message "Nothing here! Check your spelling or try a different search term." This occurs even when searching for common terms visible on the page. Given that I rely on this feature to create a study guide, I urgently need assistance with resolving this issue.

I had a Chegg account, but in March, I couldn't access solutions to problems on the website because it showed I didn't have an active subscription. I renewed on March 21st and was charged $14.95, but a week later, on March 27th, I was charged again. The same duplicate charges occurred in April (April 21st and 27th). In May, after canceling my subscription, I was still charged once (April 27th). Despite canceling, my account shows no active subscription, yet I'm being charged for a non-existent subscription. Kindly refund the three extra charges and halt these payments. Thank you. Regards, Emilía Tinna.

Hello, I am experiencing issues with a tutor I had booked a lesson with. Previously, I had sent them materials related to database. He mentioned, "I am your second professional in the database," making me feel at ease. However, during the 30-minute lesson, the first 10 to 15 minutes were spent on audio and camera setup, followed by an unexpected shift to a coffee shop setting. This change made it difficult to hear him, resulting in further delays of 5 to 10 minutes to address technical issues. Additionally, some of the examples provided did not align with my homework, to which he responded ambiguously. I kindly request a refund for this session as it did not provide the expected benefits.
