Hello, I have recently been accused of using Chegg resources to complete a university assessment. The allegation suggests that I may have shared assignment questions on Chegg or accessed posted answers using my email. I have only had a limited non-paid registration on Chegg and have never accessed answers or posted questions. I am seeking a log of my sign-in history and account status from Chegg to support my case. I also request a written confirmation from Chegg that non-paying subscribers like me cannot access answers or post questions. I subscribed to Chegg months ago but have been unable to use the service due to an error in my email address. I've been charged for a subscription I couldn't access. I'd like to update my email to the correct one to begin using the service, and as I have a few days left in this month's subscription, I am hoping to receive a refund. I believe the mistake partly lies in not verifying the email address I inputted initially. Thank you for your assistance.

I have noticed unauthorized charges of 14.95 recurring monthly on my credit card statement for several months. Despite not subscribing to any services, I have only made purchases for textbook rentals. I have disputed these charges with my credit card company, and Discover will be reaching out to you regarding this matter. I am extremely dissatisfied with this situation as the textbooks were returned on time, and there should be no valid reason for ongoing charges. When I signed up for Chegg, I selected the one-month subscription at $19.95 without realizing I would be automatically billed for additional months. I recently discovered I have been charged for two extra months unknowingly. This has been disappointing and I feel it is misleading. I would like my account canceled and a refund for the two unauthorized charges. Managing the account has been challenging, and I cannot afford the extra $39.90 without benefiting from it. I am very dissatisfied with my Chegg experience and request a complete refund as well as the account cancellation. Thank you.

Hello, I'm Candace Martell. I recently received an email reminder that my organic chemistry textbook rental is due on the 21st of this month. If it is not postmarked by that date, Chegg will charge me an extension fee. I have sent back the book with the correct UPS label, but I am unsure if it has been postmarked yet. I don't want to be charged the extension fee when the book is at the nearest shipping location. I want to update Chegg on the status of the book and ensure they know I am trying to return it promptly. I will check the book's status at the drop-off location and inform Chegg if necessary. I had an inquiry about an option on Chegg and started an online chat. I was matched with Darion, who wasn't friendly and seemed in a hurry to end the chat, as though he was one minute from closing it. When I asked him to cheer up, he ignored my request, answered my question, and abruptly ended the chat with "You're welcome, have a great rest of the day Mohamed!" He ended the chat despite me not indicating I had no more questions. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the lack of friendliness in our conversation and suggested he take a break if the job was stressful for him. He then ended the chat from his side. I'm disappointed with this interaction as it did not meet my expectations of good customer care.

My account needs assistance. During this school semester, I rented two textbooks with the orders 6XUMFK1V on 08/07/18. Unfortunately, they were sent to the wrong address, intercepted by Chegg, then cancelled. Following this, I was instructed to reorder. Even though I never got those books, I was billed for them. I was asked to return them, but I didn't receive them to return. Later, on 08/14/18, I placed an order for only one book (order HZ1VJPT8), which I paid for and have since returned. I need help resolving these issues on my account. Kindly remove the incorrect rentals, credit me for the charges related to order 6XUMFK1V, and assist in obtaining the outstanding books.

I am having issues with my account. I borrowed two textbooks at the start of the school semester (order 6XUMFK1V ) on 08/07/18. Unfortunately, Chegg sent them to the wrong address, so the order was canceled, and I was instructed to reorder. I never received the books but was still charged. I am writing regarding my recent order of the MindTap DIY access code for my college first-year seminar. Along with that, I returned my Art [redacted] book in the same package. Strangely, while the Art book shows as returned, the MindTap code does not and I was charged $13.52 for a late fee. I assure you that I returned both items together. I kindly request a refund for the access code. This experience has left me feeling disappointed and frustrated with the return process. If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily, I may have to reconsider using Chegg in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, My name is Daijah. I recently emailed about two books that I returned on December 16, [redacted], and was charged a $10.98 late fee. I am extremely dissatisfied with Chegg's handling of their errors. I was charged over $[redacted] for a book I had already returned weeks ago. Even though Chegg received the book, I was still charged a late fee until I contacted customer service. While Chegg refunded the charge, it led to my bank account going into negative balance and incurring an overdraft fee. I now have no access to my card and have to wait 3-5 business days for the reimbursement. Despite speaking to customer service three times, the compensation offered was just a "20% off coupon," which does not resolve the issue or make up for the inconvenience caused by Chegg's mistake. It is frustrating that I, as a customer, am left in financial distress due to their error. This experience has made me reconsider using Chegg in the future.

I reached out this afternoon around 12 pm regarding a billing issue with my Chegg account. Initially, I had two payment methods on file. I was mistakenly charged $16.22 on the account I did not want to use. After this charge, I requested a change to my preferred payment method. The representative I spoke with assured me they cancelled the initial payment method. Despite clearly stating I did not wish to cancel my subscription, the account was terminated by the representative without my consent. I seek to reinstate my Chegg account without being charged the reactivation fee of $14.95, as this cancellation was not authorized by me. It is imperative that my account is reactivated promptly without any additional charges, considering I did not approve the cancellation. Your assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

I returned my books on January 25th with an extension for the return. Today, I was charged the full price of the books despite having spoken to customer service previously about late fee charges I received. They assured me it would be resolved. Unfortunately, I am being charged late fees again along with the full book price. Customer service is unavailable until Monday. I am concerned about the charges and would appreciate knowing if a refund will be issued.

To the concerned party, I previously borrowed the book "Unto a Good Land" for my History class. Although I thought I had lost it, I recently located it while cleaning my room. Due to some oversight, I mistakenly missed emails notifying me of overdue charges. I have now shipped the book back via UPS. Unfortunately, I have noticed a trend where the answers provided often seem to be copied from solutions already available on Chegg, sometimes with errors.
